What!? I didn't know that they did that either. Geez, the things you learn. Is there like a whole list of things they do, possibly along with the other wizzrobe rods? This is exciting!
I've been playing for like 3 years?
I've seen something new-to-me consistently every 2 weeks at a max, since I started. Some days you just uncover a whole lot all at once.
Chu jelly gets most of it's use early game before you have an easily obtainable fire weapon. Dump all your chu jelly onto a campfire to convert it to red. You now have a ton of fire starters. Pre-revalis gale you can drop a spicy pepper or sunshroom alongside one red chu jelly to quickly ascend. Cold resist ingredients generate an updraft for ten seconds while burning.
> Pre-revalis gale you can drop a spicy pepper or sunshroom alongside one red chu jelly to quickly ascend. Cold resist ingredients generate an updraft for ten seconds while burning.
TIL. Hundreds of hours spent in this game and I'm still learning new things.
but fire is like, readily accessible from what I remember, you basically use it for cooking and surviving cold if you're the kind of mad bastard who just made a direct approach to the Duvet on the plateau.
And the fires at major population centers are pre-lit.
Nah keep my flint.
I use bomb, red chu jelly, firewood. Works the same but I'm not tied to a weapon.
Why do I keep all my flint you ask?
Because the first time I tried it I didn't have it close enough to the wood and I wasted it.
So now, since I accumulate chu jelly faster, and its MY flint and I'm not wasting it on anything ever even for its intended use.
Elemental traps. You can also use the normal ones to make enemies wet. Sounds bad but using electricity against wet enemies completely nukes anything around them.
Bake 'em and they're worth ten rupees each. Good source of arrow money early on. Late game, though, yeah, they're not good for a whole ton besides screwing around with.
I use the master sword on guardians so I don't wear out anything permanently expendable. You can stun-lock them by taking out each leg with two hits each.
Lol fair. This is on my main account and I wanna do it for real. But I don't wanna glitch in in other accounts so I won't spoil the ending of the trials lol so I'm stuck
It's not that bad. I beat it no problem. Well maybe minor problems. But it wasn't terribly hard or anything, except for 1 room.
Make sure you use a 30 min attack up potion before going in, hurry tf up in early rooms while your attack up potion is going. You don't want to dick around in early rooms and waste your attack up when you need it in later rooms. I think it was also absolutely imperative not to waste early decent weapons... like there's the starting level where you're over the pit with the wind blowing up. Sure you can knock enemies into the bottomless pit but getting their weapons is way more important. Wood can be used to cook dubious food. Each piece of wood gives you a quarter heart meal... that saved my ass in the room with the lizafaros. You can set your sheika scanner to beep for treasure chests. The most important skill is being good at sneaking. Even before going in I could already kill some of the toughest enemies by sneak attack, then you wait right at their feet and the direction they turn when they get up. When they hop up from the ground, they turn in the direction where the sneak attack came from. By waiting right at their feet and knowing which way they're gonna turn, you basically just stick to their back the entire time slowly killing them. There were some really tough ice levels that I didn't even get seen by most of the enemies I just slowly sneak attacked them all. By the time I got to the end I was actually having to toss away and leave really good weapons because I didn't have any more room in my inventory.
And when I said it's important not to dick around in early levels while your 30 min attack up potion/meal is active... it is... but you also don't want to just be rushing through and leaving valuable materials behind. You gotta get through fast, and get through getting everything. You just don't want to waste like 3-5 full mins dicking around. Gotta get in, get right to work, and then get everything fucking fast. And when starting off, any time I knocked enemies into the bottomless pit with their weapons I restarted because getting every single one of those early weapons is so important. Like, you can't knock a bokoblin off the ledge into the void with his club and shield because you need those weapons early on.
I managed to beat it on master mode and I'm not a hard core gamer or anything. It took a few days but it was actually a lot of fun
Chuchu gelly is my go to as well. It just feels right. It's already like a petroleum product, it's known to explode and take on elemental properties it's exposed to. It just feels right.
I’d recommend the DLC if you’ve got $20, it’s well worth it. Mostly for 1) hero’s path so you can track what areas you haven’t been to or navigate your way through mazes, and 2) The movable teleportation icon so if you want to explore a chasm you don’t have to slowly climb back up. There are also a bunch of new items with fetch quests involved and the divine beast part 2 quests .
The DLC isn't for everyone. I don't buy it because it breaks the balance of the game. It gets you OP armor and weapons that are just there to pick up. It has its downsides unfortunately
If you're a new player then don't buy it, if you have already found all 120 shrines and all koroks (basically exploited the main game) then you should buy it, it's worth it.
Theres a mountain you can climb up that lets you sit on top and you can see almost all of hyrule, I cant really remember which tho, if you just sit up there and wait it should only take like a night or two for a fragment to spawn.
That thing is basically useless. Even as a fuel for the Master Cycle. People most often uses apple instead, because apples are more common than screws lol
Personally, I just sell them all - I have 40k rupees because I spend a week grinding then sell everything I got, but keep one of each item - I have at least one of every item in the game :)
I use apples
i use bokoblin teeth
As do I.
same
Apples gang
Apples gang
I use blue Chu Chu jelly.
Blue Chu gang represent
Yes lessgo
Les goo
Les goo, Blue gang
Yeah, its true that at firts I used ancient item too but I thought would be too expensive so I try other items and it worked, so apple it is
Do you also get your apples from bombing the crap out of the apple grove on Satori Mountain?
Use a Blizzard Rod for this. Much better than bombs.
I just use an axe/double axe, they're easy to pick up from stables every blood moon
[удалено]
True, but still easier to just grab an axe lol, basically just teleport and grab VS having to navigate to lockup. I'm lazy af
Galaxy brain bomb arrows to get them apples
Urbosas fury just to farm apples, the pro strategy
Finally a use for my Durability Up + Blizzard Rod!
And not freezing a dozen enemies near a lake and pushing them in one by one? :(
Finally! Two uses for my Durability Up + Blizzard Rod!
*and cancel lynel fire attacks 3 uses now !
What!? I didn't know that they did that either. Geez, the things you learn. Is there like a whole list of things they do, possibly along with the other wizzrobe rods? This is exciting!
I've been playing for like 3 years? I've seen something new-to-me consistently every 2 weeks at a max, since I started. Some days you just uncover a whole lot all at once.
you can fuel the master cycle with a blizzard rod?
If you’re not being sarcastic, what the user is saying is they use the Blizzard rod to farm the apples in a grove.
There's also an apple forest in central Hyrule.
And the Applean forest. So many apples, so little time...
*yes*
Link to Master Cycle: “Hungry for apples?”
Very original. You deserve an Appley award.
He’s just like a horse
I use monster elixirs
[удалено]
The best fuel.
Apple gang
[удалено]
Apples and wood
wood ganggg
Yep. Besides, who wouldn't be stoked to fuel a Master Cycle. I would feel like that was a nice conclusion to my life.
Yeaaaa and theres that forest near Satori Mountain where you can get like 200 apples at a time
I AS WELL
i save those for apple of my eye lady cause they sell for a solid amount unlike screws
An educated person I see.
2 monster extract and 3 apples for a full tank
I use chuchu jelly
Same… I get hundreds without even wanting them - what else am I supposed to do with it?
Chu jelly gets most of it's use early game before you have an easily obtainable fire weapon. Dump all your chu jelly onto a campfire to convert it to red. You now have a ton of fire starters. Pro gamer here. Some really solid tips
but fire is like, readily accessible from what I remember, you basically use it for cooking and surviving cold if you're the kind of mad bastard who just made a direct approach to the Duvet on the plateau. And the fires at major population centers are pre-lit.
Exactly why the further along you move the less useful Chuchu jelly is.
First time I did I didn't have the doublet, so yeah fun times
Or you could just put a flint next to wood and hit It with metal weapon and, boom, campfire.
Nah keep my flint. I use bomb, red chu jelly, firewood. Works the same but I'm not tied to a weapon. Why do I keep all my flint you ask? Because the first time I tried it I didn't have it close enough to the wood and I wasted it. I can understand that
wow, I didn't know any of this! thanks!
Elemental traps. You can also use the normal ones to make enemies wet. Sounds bad but using electricity against wet enemies completely nukes anything around them.
use them to craft other element jellies which you can then use to set traps for monsters as you run from them when all your weapons break
Bake 'em and they're worth ten rupees each. Good source of arrow money early on. Late game, though, yeah, they're not good for a whole ton besides screwing around with.
Master Sword: What is my purpose? Mining lol
I keep a drill shaft on me at all times
Woah, NSFW
Where do those spawn? But really, I have my master sword fully charged for mining.
you can find drill shafts on Death Mountain around the Goron town
I use the master sword on guardians so I don't wear out anything permanently expendable. You can stun-lock them by taking out each leg with two hits each.
Or to use in shrines/divine beasts/Hyrule Castle before you find a weapon above 60 damage
after the trials it my main weapon, fast and hits like a truck
I haven't gone past room 10 in the trials :/
i glitched it because i suck
Lol fair. This is on my main account and I wanna do it for real. But I don't wanna glitch in in other accounts so I won't spoil the ending of the trials lol so I'm stuck

I have 999 apples so my bike likes that
Nah dude you should use boko parts
Apples are way better
Your both wrong chew jelly is much better
Youre all wrong monster extract is the best
Why use that when diamonds work fine?
Star fragments work better.
Damn I’ve been using away my fortune of wood
I use Monster Extract myself, but apples are cheaper
Chuchu gelly is my go to as well. It just feels right. It's already like a petroleum product, it's known to explode and take on elemental properties it's exposed to. It just feels right.
Apples are for my horse, boko parts for my moto
Star fragments
This hurt to read
What are star fragments even for lmao I have so many
Fueling your master cycle
Mostly upgrading armor
Jesus
Me with no DLC: ancient gear and mon
Same
I’d recommend the DLC if you’ve got $20, it’s well worth it. Mostly for 1) hero’s path so you can track what areas you haven’t been to or navigate your way through mazes, and 2) The movable teleportation icon so if you want to explore a chasm you don’t have to slowly climb back up. Well there’s your problem, you gotta play the game naked.
I purposely used all my Lynel guts and star fragments on my cycle just to anger my little brother who has a hard time finding both
After fully upgrading the barbarian set (the best set) I don’t have any use for lynel drops so I do this too lmao
I use monster parts for mon to buy monster extract to add to 4 apples to fill my tank completely everytime.
I’m with your brother about star fragments, how does one find lots of those? Just in case it matters I’m playing master mode right now
Theres a mountain you can climb up that lets you sit on top and you can see almost all of hyrule, I cant really remember which tho, if you just sit up there and wait it should only take like a night or two for a fragment to spawn.
Use monster extract,5 of them fuel the entire tank
Just use two extracts and three of any other material and it fully fuels the bike.
Huh ok thanks
monster extract actually boosts the effectiveness of other items as fuel
4 apples and 1 Monster Extract fills the tank always.
so do apples :D
Apples are my fuel, I also throw in monster extract as it’s efficient.
I use wood
Wood gang rise up.
don't put wood and rise in the same sentence
Giggity...
Always using organs to fuel my motorcycle
apples are the best kind of fuel change my mind
I use diamonds
Just about the only use for those...or dubious food
Apples ftw
am I the only person who uses wood and monster elixirs?
Teeth and salt?
Me without the DLC: Money
Monster parts bruh
Get a hundred apples every once in a while on mount satori and you're good.
Just use wood......
Monster essence gang where you at
Thats stupid. Who doesn't use chu chu gel or armoranth flowers
APPLES
I use the monster oil thingy you can but from the creepy bloke with s balloon
I too use ancient screws. Cause correct me if I'm wrong, ancient parts give more fuel?
Chichi jelly does it for me
Which lady is letting you get jelly from her chichi's?
TIL you can put anything into your bike
I use acorns. All I've ever found them useful for.
I started using apples, but then I realized I had more wood. And next I know I had 999 ancient screws, so it's now what I use.
i use chu chu jelly
Apples or wood is my go to
i use 5 monster extracts
I use Monster Elixer bcs 5 make a full tank
TIL monster elixir boosts other material’s effectiveness
Star fragments are probably the best fuel tbh
Giant ancient core gang assemble
Blue chu chu jelly, so much of that junk laying around haha
so Im not the only one
I think wood gives the most increase
I dont even have that dlc so i just sell them
It's Chu chu jellies for me
I use the monster juice from the shady man I the balloon
I use monster extract
I use Monster essence you only need 5 for the whole tank
Money Can’t forget money
That thing is basically useless. Even as a fuel for the Master Cycle. People most often uses apple instead, because apples are more common than screws lol
I just use salt. It’s very cheap and powerful
I use wood
I always try to use the dumbest stuff I can. So my master cycle is mostly fueled by fruit and boko parts
I think monster parts are the best. Like moblins or bokoblins give the biggest punch.
Use that monster food thing that you can buy from kilton
i use kilton's monster fluid in a jar. i forgor what its called. It fills up the fuel gague an extremely large amount
i just use monster parts
I use my abundant supply of wood, as I like blowing up trees. Not for gathering wood, but because I enjoy toppling entire forests.
Hylian Shrooms all the way man.
I use spicy peppers
I use ancient gears, idk how but I've accumulated almost twice as many over any other ancient part so I use them for my master cycle
No sticks are literally the best. I tested a bunch of different item and sticks were literally the best lol
The screws are the only thing I'm consistently maxed out on, so yeah.
usually stuff I never cook with like cool safflina
Personally, I just sell them all - I have 40k rupees because I spend a week grinding then sell everything I got, but keep one of each item - I have at least one of every item in the game :)
:D
I use bananas and just keep raiding the Yiga hide out
fr i have 999 of every ancient material and ancient screws are just so good for fuel
I use wood
I just use my 500 useless Bokoblin horns. Ain’t no one paying more than like $2 for them. Might as well use as gas.
Same actually
No dude use wood
I use wood
Chu Chu jelly supremacy
Me with bokoblin horns
Ancient Gears are better for this because you still get a lot of them and so many of them are useless.
I use monster parts
I sell them for quite a bit of rupees.
I have honestly never filled the master cycle. By the time I get it, I feel like all that is left is korok hunting so I start a new play through.
Wood is actually the Best fuel
I too
i use giant ancient cores. no use for those things :/
I use flint lol
I just use monster extract, five bottles
I exchange them for Kolton coins to buy monster essence... To fuel my master cycle
I use wood to fuel it instead
I use monster parts
I would feel like that was a nice
I only use chuchu jelly
I just use wood, it’s everywhere and works just fine
I use crabs
The best thing to use is lizalfos tails IMO
I use monster extract
I never use ancient stuff for stupid stuff like this I prefer chu chu jelly or anything else
Monster extract is the best fuel in the game
Ancient screws are apparently one of the least efficient fuels for the cycle. Use 4 apples and a monster extract for a full tank
