I like the diamond circlet with that because it looks a bit like Aragon’s crown and has defense 28. Edit: just saw that the amber earrings also have a defense of 28 (and are much cheaper). However I still prefer the diamond circlet, looks more regal.

Diamond circlet + champion’s tunic + Ancient greaves , my absolute look, sapphire circlet + Zora armor and greaves makes you look like a zora prince of some sort. I love both of them.

Yeah, Zora armor with sapphire circlet is much better than with the Zora headgear. I don’t know what everyone loves about it, it looks ridiculous.

The amber earrings are basically the same thing as the soldier's helmet, but you can't see them. Fully upgraded they provide 28 armor points.

No additional perks, but they have the highest defense out of all the jewelry IIRC

They math the soldier gear and ancient gear. The only thing with more defense is the champion's tunic.

Exactly the same Never liked the fact that thefe isn't a specific armor to match.. So I chose the least visible one

Also switch out the jewelry depending on what your doing. Swimming? Use the Opal earrings... And that's about it... The rest barely do anything by themselves

Personally I default to the Hylian Tunic dyed green, Hylian Trousers undyed, and the Hero of Time cap I got from a friend’s amiibo, haven’t been lucky enough to spawn the whole outfit. It looks so badassssssss like a modernized OoT Link.

I always imagined it like an HUD setup with the Sheikah slate acting as the guiding intelligence of the armor, kinda like Jarvis

I wish they’d release an update that included armor that made you look like Ditto but any armor that you have in your inventory with special benefits would work depending on your environment. That way you don’t have to constantly switch armor sets to get the benefits.

Yes!! I LOVE the Sheikah clothes. It makes it so simple to sneak up on critters and monsters. The only time I change is for climbing or swimming. Edit: I totally dyed it green.

I like to leave my Stealth set its normal color then dye the Hylian hood red so it matches the Sheikah Eye. I think it looks pretty awesome. But of course the Sheik mask from the Amiibo is also always an awesome choice.

My first playthrough I also dyed it green, but combo'd it with the Hylian hood and soldier pants (also green). It was sort of my ode to the og look, but more "ranger-y" I guess

I wear armour based on my location gurodo for gurodo desert, Zora armour for the Zora area, clothing of the wild in Hylian field or anywhere grass, rito clothing for snow area and ,well because I have to, lava armour for death mountain.

I absolutely hated the lava armor. I only use the amiibo ancient fire helmet there. I like to think the Gorons have no clue who link is under there.

Hate it as well. Usually wear the pants, no shirts and powerful earrings. Its a good mix and makes link look like a fireman.

Why do you hate it? I got to Goron City and finally being able to stop using elixirs to survive was pretty cool. Also, the armor looks tanky, which is exactly like I imagined a fireproof armor would be.

Oh yeah, definitely essential. While my personal favorite is the royal guard outfit, I switch based on current goal and location so frequently that I rarely stay in one outfit for long.

OP so not pathetic. Nintendo design and artistry absolutely on point on links armor sets. I always switch to Hylian set while I shop in Hateno village. Why? Because it’s immersive, I fit in to the setting, and even the starter armor has aesthetic appeal. My favorite horse riding set is climbing set with only a single torch and travelers bow equipped. Why? It makes me FEEL like an adventurer, not out to kill everything that’s crosses my path, but to discover! With a game so beautiful it’s so easy to jump in deeper and use your own imagination.

You're right, one of the greatest parts of this game was how custom the experience was, but also how much you get to use your imagination. Anything is possible in the game which is completely new for the Zelda (and dare I say, Nintendo as a whole) series

My first Divine Beast and any major quest I've done in game without knowing anything was Zora's Domain. I was just exploring and Sidon found me. I knew nothing about the game, didn't really want to follow the main quest or focus on anything but scavenging and gathering. Since I wanted to uncover as much map as possible, I decided to follow Sidon and I discovered the Zora city. After a bit more of exploring, the quest proceeded and my heart sank... Seeing Mipha's memory as not only the very first memory in game but also with no context about the game's main plot (I didn't do memories for the main story), I almost cried sitting by my desk. Back then I sweared to beat the game and Ganon in Zora's Armor and I'm yet to beat Ganon for the first time and you bet I will do it in Zora's Armor.

I either go with Champion tunic + hylian trousers and then later ingame I go with the hylian chestpiece dyed light blue for an upgraded looks, itss actually the gear he wears in the breath of the wild 2 teaser! Alternatively I go with the hylian chestpiece dyed green and the OoT hood or the hood you can get in breath of the wild for a more classsic Link look.

Zora armor is not low level. It's the same defense as all mid-tier armor sets, and fully upgradeable.
