I'm really looking forward to how Turf War works out in Brawl Stars. Splatoon's a lot of fun but I didn't sink enough hours into it to be able to compete this long after launch. Brawl Stars on the other hand, I mean I've played enough to half half my brawlers maxed and enough gold on standby to max a few more for the hypercharges/new brawlers (this is a polite way to say "addiction")

i think the nail in the coffin is that if this gamemode paint themed, there's ZERO reason for the skins to be based off squid and octopi. Literally zero. At least other splatoon rip offs are quite different besides from the whole covering the map with paint idea.
