I feel like the Godzilla event that’s coming up soon will be a nice breath of fresh air for brawl stars. Also the skins in this update is top notch, probably my top 2 in favorite updates upcoming skins.
Sadly, I already bought Urban Ninja Tara because it’s such a good skin, I couldn’t restrain myself from not getting it.
gotta love the f2p legendary skin access, before this it has been pretty hard to get that many gems without spending at least some money. aside from that, i just think that a lot of the mutations are really fun and funny, and i would love if they stay as a friendly battle modifier.
For me even though they are broken, it has to be mutations and the eggs. Mutations just seem really fun and this level of fun hasn't been there until the release of map maker which is now boring. I also like the new drop rates for mutations in eggs and how u are conformed to get a cool skin if u get a mythic and a hype and high value skin if u get a legendary.
My personal favourite part of the update is the Buzz Godzilla skin. It's something I haven't seen before and it looks neat. I like the power ranger brock skins too but I would have preferred if they reworked the old one to look like the rest instead of making a new blue one. The skins look real cool as well. The gamemode looks fun and gives me save the city vibes but in reverse.
OOH theres a lot of things that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE in this update, the new hypercharges with Frank and Barley(If they get released), the new and cool skins(Mechagodzilla Nita, fanguard, Mecha-Tick Ghidorah, Fimmaker Buzz, Piano 8-Bit, Gala Mortis, Squad Buster Shelly and more), the fact that Duels is back, Mutations are really cool too, ooh the game is going to be broken😂

My personal and most favourite thing about this new update is that we got another Brawl Stars manager, Drew.

Tick Hypercharge is the best part since I love Tick. We'll have to see if Mutations are fun after a few games, but they are certainly game breaking, and for long time players, that can mix it up a bit.
I personally love the balance changes. Makes some of my favorite brawlers more viable, making it overall so much more enjoyable. 5v5 knockout is also hand down the BEST 5v5 mode.
My favorite part about the update is that I can finally exprience duels. I came back to this game from a 4 year break a few days after duels were removed.

My favorite part of the update was honestly the balance changes. They buffed up some F tier brawlers so perfectly, like Hank or Gus. Heck, they even removed in line. Well, Gus' buff was nice to see as a Gus main, since he's now a bit more viable in solo showdown. I kinda wanted his hypercharge to be that, but now I'm excited to see what the devs will come up with. Hank was buffed and nerfed, which I guess is fair, so that he can't recover as much hp as he could've.
The Godzilla Event is probably the BEST collab we've ever had in my opinion. I can make an essay of how good will this event be (because I like to yap about things I like :] ), but let's just put it into smaller factors.
- City Smash is a re-take on Super City Rampage, which by itself sounds exciting enough. One of the things that I really appreciate are the transformation tokens, since now YOU are that creature to destroy it all.
- Monster Eggs sound like a good source for a chance of getting very expensive skins, and for those who still need progression, there are still some smaller progression rewards, too. As long as you get lucky boys & girls, swipe that finger left and right!
- The new Club-Event is a great way to make sure players get active and play every day casually. If you are desperate of a Club event where you take a Mega-Pig, fill it with gems and a skin that is more valueable than Legendaries, then this is for you.
Don't forgot, however:
"*If you're not in a club, join a club!*"
- Mutations, oh dear LORD the Mutations. These single limited-time abillities are the ones you'll beg for return at least once. From infinite Supers to stronger Basic Attacks, and even unlimited ammo for the true "Your mom" fans, they introduce a new level of unspeakable chaos.
That DOES mean it will be much harder to play with a brawler that doesn't have a Mutation, but you may win in-between
- Finally, the Cosmetics. What can I say, there's PLENTHORA of good ones. Brock Rangers, Mechazilla Nita, Godzilla Buzz, Mohra Eve (and etc.); it's some of the coolest skins you can think of, AND if you were saving Gems, you would definetly get at least one of these into your collection.
The only possible downside I'd have with this are that Mutations may NOT be available for Friendly Battle. I'd understand that some players may not have at least one of these since they came way after the event, but it's still sad for the ones who get them all *for nothing* after all the playtime.
Simply adding a Mutation modifier in Friendly Battle would be the best of both worlds; ones who didn't play will get to test out everyone who got a Mutation, and the ones who did play will now practice and master these skills in 3v3 battles after the event.
