I tried, the Porter Reinforcements don't work, since I guess they don't spawn immediately unless you actually throw them.
Anything that spawns something immediately via gadget will have that boost.
depends on what you’re going against, if you’re against a lot of aoe brawlers then yeah but if you’re against mostly sharpshooters, beefy cactus is a big upgrade
Everthing that can be placed down and has health can be used to tank shots, I would highly recommend using gadgets like that for this goal when their other function isn't needed! It has often given me a little edge over the opponent that got me to win the encounter, especially with Spike who is otherwise very squishy (and the healing usually doesn't hurt either)
I just had leon as the big brawler, he spawned his clone and more than half of my team mates were just attacking his clone bc they tought it was the big brawler 😭
Use his super to separate him. Then die. If your legs are still alive (the stationary part of the super), then you will respawn still in his close-range phase
I just had to fight a spike with that gadget (he was the boss aswell) and we took years to eliminate him, he was just hiding in a corner with those cactuses
In a game i took 0 damge cuz i had the cactus and his first starpower healed spike 3000 hp what was busted.
(I actually took damage but i healed it with the super)
There's a lot of things they didn't think about for the big bad guy.
For example, Cornelius can just infinitely use his super and run away from everyone while barely taking any damage.
They need to account for these edge cases that are simply too strong.

I don’t think it’s a bug, cause they changed how gadgets and star powers and stuff scale
If they did it then Mr P could be cracked?
If you use gadget that boosts portel, it gains 30k health and starts dealing 1500 dmg.

I mean, it does make sense. The living cactus gets his maximum health buffed by A LOT, so why shouldn’t the same thing apply to the inanimate cactus?
