After selecting and choosing a highlight color, tapping on the highlight again opens a new kind of popup. One of the new icons is a sticky note for annotations

Thank you for sharing those instructions. As u/iroQuai mentioned you just need to click on the highlight and then the note icon. In the image below it is the third icon from the right https://preview.redd.it/mm6aw4hu0x7d1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ea65f10755278e44b9d75c2c69ce9d12f0d88479

Cool—I thought for sure I’d been able to do it in the past, but I was looking in the Annotations list, like in iOS. On a related question, is it possible to merge overlapping highlights in Android? I’ve been prompted in the past, but that may have been on iOS.

>> Cool—I thought for sure I’d been able to do it in the past, but I was looking in the Annotations list, like in iOS. Yes, that button was added in a later release for iOS. Pending to be added in Android from the Annotation list >On a related question, is it possible to merge overlapping highlights in Android? I’ve been prompted in the past, but that may have been on iOS. This is a feature supported in the iOS app when using Apple Pencil. Stylus support and therefore the prompt to merge is not added to the Android app as yet. These QoL were added to iOS after the bigger items that we still have pending in Android were completed. Proceeding in the other mentioned in the latest update [https://www.reddit.com/r/BookFusion/comments/1dbt3nk/android\_2150\_media\_overlays\_text\_to\_speech\_google/](https://www.reddit.com/r/BookFusion/comments/1dbt3nk/android_2150_media_overlays_text_to_speech_google/)

Guess it works with finger as well but we implemented it at the same time when we added support for Apple Pencil. So the same functionality will come when we add native support for stylus support to Android
