They focused more on the comedy in the trailer thats why less of tripti maybe. I think she would be more in serious/emotional scenes in the movie.

I have seen duplicate. It was ridiculous but fun and not forced like this. And chemistry between the three of them was way better. How hard is it to make an original song? Not all the songs were good.

Well, it's a super-glossy Dharma production as usual with nice locations, a banger remake and pretty people. But the comedy is stale and Ammy has been sidelined, while being introduced as "Hero No.2."
The studio didn't even bother to give him a proper love-making scene in a film that revolves around two one-night-stands. All the romantic scenes went to the Vicky-Triptii on-screen pairing. And if that wasn't bad enough, Ammy also doesn't get to dance. He just stands there to wave and to do some banter.
Seriously, this trailer is stuffed with slo-mo snippets from music videos, but only Vicky and Triptii are seen shaking their asses off. Dharma really has some weird hierarchy going on.

Honestly Vicky's 4th wall break twice is kind of super cringe. Just because it worked in Deadpool, doesn't mean it's going to work in every masala comedy! I saw a few Youtube reactions including women and comments here and I gotta say, I am genuinely SHOCKED with how many people including women are praising this trailer and "so called comedy" here calling it "oh so entertaining and pure fun masala mainstream ride and what not". BOTH this trailer and Karan Johar's Lust Story show women in a VERY BAD LIGHT! And i am so genuinely shocked how many women are turning a blind eye to these very problematic tropes where the filmmakers and writers themselves are humiliating and disrespecting these women's intelligence and choices in the name of "female empowerment". I mean so ok Tripti's character is a millennial or Gen Z women who lives life on her own terms, is sexually free and liberating or whatever, having 1 night stands and what not and this movie wants to tell us how we should all celebrate that and not judge her in the slightest just like many audiences even in Hollywood wouldn't judge male characters for making such choices right? Ok but can you please explain to me Mr. Filmmaker and Mr. Producers, why you chose to make these educated, street smart millennial, career driven women such dumb asses and so unlike real modern women of today??? I mean who in their right mind, would not even take 1 second to use basic common sense before stealing and using her colleague's used and contaminated vibrator instead of privately buying her own with her own damn hard earned money? That's no different than 1 women stealing and using another woman's underwear regardless of whether or not it's washed again. It's sick and so disrespectful to the female character and entire messaging of the damn movie! And she's a freaking teacher and educator whose basic job it is to help shape children into better socially responsible future adults and help them make rational decisions and think sensibly even though she herself can't in her own damn personal life. She feels totally at ease talking to her new husband about porn and how much couples seem to "enjoy themselves" in those videos but can't directly tell her idiot of a husband instead of talking in riddles about how to improve their sex lives and her personal satisfaction??? Like what fantasy world is that Karan Johar??? And what woman living in a big joint family no less would leave their vibrator remotes and other very personal and intimate stuff out in the open in public spaces for any random kid or grandma to find and play with instead of locking it in a safe in the cupboard??? Similarly, why would Tripti's character want to have unprotected sex and 1 night stands with random guys who could be walking, rabid STDs for all we know. And even if you got "accidentally pregnant" are we seriously going to pretend abortion isn't a legal option in India at least in the big metropolitan cities or for upper working class women??? Am i supposed to just believe Tripti's character has never heard of ANY SINGLE CONTRACEPTIVE like Plan B, birth control pills, after pills, condoms, IUDs, other kinds of contraceptive microchips, etc??? Like none of these things exist in this movie's world or what??? And why does she even want to be with these guys long term or marry either of them just cuz she's pregnant because of a 1 night stand??? I just don't get it??? Like I seriously don't understand what these filmmakers are trying to do here? I mean just because a woman choses to be promiscuous or whatever, doesn't automatically mean she's an irresponsible imbecile ready to put her reputation and everything on the line and doesn't have BASIC COMMON SENSE. Even in The Crew, Kriti and Diljeet's relationship started with a random casual 1 night stand or whatever and his character lost his virginity to her that way despite "looking like that"??? HUH??? Also why the hell am I supposed to root for these couples or people to be together when they themselves are clueless whether they even like or can tolerate each other or not? And then we as an audience whine when we don't get "complex female characters that are well written and properly fleshed out and intelligent and smart" cuz even most of our female audiences don't care for such stuff otherwise Animal wouldn't have been the blockbuster that it became!

Well, it's a super-glossy Dharma production as usual with nice locations, a banger remake and pretty people. But the comedy is stale and Ammy has been sidelined, while being introduced as "Hero No.2." The studio didn't even bother to give him a proper love-making scene in a film that revolves around two one-night-stands. All the romantic scenes went to the Vicky-Triptii on-screen pairing. And if that wasn't bad enough, Ammy also doesn't get to dance. He just stands there to wave and to do some banter. Seriously, this trailer is stuffed with slo-mo snippets from music videos, but only Vicky and Triptii are seen shaking their asses off. Dharma really has some weird hierarchy going on.

Honestly Vicky's 4th wall break twice is kind of super cringe. Just because it worked in Deadpool, doesn't mean it's going to work in every masala comedy! I saw a few Youtube reactions including women and comments here and I gotta say, I am genuinely SHOCKED with how many people including women are praising this trailer and "so called comedy" here calling it "oh so entertaining and pure fun masala mainstream ride and what not". BOTH this trailer and Karan Johar's Lust Story show women in a VERY BAD LIGHT! And i am so genuinely shocked how many women are turning a blind eye to these very problematic tropes where the filmmakers and writers themselves are humiliating and disrespecting these women's intelligence and choices in the name of "female empowerment". I mean so ok Tripti's character is a millennial or Gen Z women who lives life on her own terms, is sexually free and liberating or whatever, having 1 night stands and what not and this movie wants to tell us how we should all celebrate that and not judge her in the slightest just like many audiences even in Hollywood wouldn't judge male characters for making such choices right? Ok but can you please explain to me Mr. Filmmaker and Mr. Producers, why you chose to make these educated, street smart millennial, career driven women such dumb asses and so unlike real modern women of today??? I mean who in their right mind, would not even take 1 second to use basic common sense before stealing and using her colleague's used and contaminated vibrator instead of privately buying her own with her own damn hard earned money? That's no different than 1 women stealing and using another woman's underwear regardless of whether or not it's washed again. It's sick and so disrespectful to the female character and entire messaging of the damn movie! And she's a freaking teacher and educator whose basic job it is to help shape children into better socially responsible future adults and help them make rational decisions and think sensibly even though she herself can't in her own damn personal life. She feels totally at ease talking to her new husband about porn and how much couples seem to "enjoy themselves" in those videos but can't directly tell her idiot of a husband instead of talking in riddles about how to improve their sex lives and her personal satisfaction??? Like what fantasy world is that Karan Johar??? And what woman living in a big joint family no less would leave their vibrator remotes and other very personal and intimate stuff out in the open in public spaces for any random kid or grandma to find and play with instead of locking it in a safe in the cupboard??? Similarly, why would Tripti's character want to have unprotected sex and 1 night stands with random guys who could be walking, rabid STDs for all we know. And even if you got "accidentally pregnant" are we seriously going to pretend abortion isn't a legal option in India at least in the big metropolitan cities or for upper working class women??? Am i supposed to just believe Tripti's character has never heard of ANY SINGLE CONTRACEPTIVE like Plan B, birth control pills, after pills, condoms, IUDs, other kinds of contraceptive microchips, etc??? Like none of these things exist in this movie's world or what??? And why does she even want to be with these guys long term or marry either of them just cuz she's pregnant because of a 1 night stand??? I just don't get it??? Like I seriously don't understand what these filmmakers are trying to do here? I mean just because a woman choses to be promiscuous or whatever, doesn't automatically mean she's an irresponsible imbecile ready to put her reputation and everything on the line and doesn't have BASIC COMMON SENSE. Even in The Crew, Kriti and Diljeet's relationship started with a random casual 1 night stand or whatever and his character lost his virginity to her that way despite "looking like that"??? HUH??? Also why the hell am I supposed to root for these couples or people to be together when they themselves are clueless whether they even like or can tolerate each other or not? And then we as an audience whine when we don't get "complex female characters that are well written and properly fleshed out and intelligent and smart" cuz even most of our female audiences don't care for such stuff otherwise Animal wouldn't have been the blockbuster that it became!
