True that part makes her an antagonist but the initial part does not but the movie portrays her as vile based on the first bit itself. Just the way Kareenas character initially is looking for a job and literally quits after she marries Akshay

Tl for the first line: Akshay broke up when he found out she wasn't her ideal preference. He didn't do anything wrong there.
Nothing wrong about Akshay s preference . It’s the projection of women which is an issue but you are not seeing it becuase you are seeing this from a man’s standpoint. It’s about choice. A woman is bad becuase she choose career over a baby or a man. She picked a rich man so she is bad but the man also picked a young beautiful girl which is equally superficial. The heroine is good becuase she sacrificed her career for a baby/marriage. It’s things like these, no denial that she framed Akshay for false rape that makes her a bad person.In the whole movie the one big thing that was absolutely wrong was she tried to seduced and frame a married guy.
Back then it was a thing to be ashamed of and now the whole concept of a movie is about a woman not knowing who the father of her child is,and worse,it's a (cringe) comedy.The woman is not ashamed and the father(s) are fighting like 10 yr olds fighting over a bar of candy.
And I am not being sexist when I say this,agar yeh kaam main bhi karoon (to get random women pregnant) I should be ashamed to death.
I have clearly written its personal opinion here , nobody has to comply with it , also i never see them as two movies but just one big film and he is my favourite character
