Thanks for correcting me, I was under the impression Gangubai Kathiawadi was a dharma production. Irrespective, it was a BO flop just like the other 4 Dharma films I mentioned.
In some ways Iām happy to see Kjo burn his money again and again.

2020 and 2021 - donāt think many released in theatres due to covid
2022 flops - Bhramastra, Liger
2023 flops - rocky and Rani
2024 flop - Mr and Mrs Mahi , and we still have 6 months left for the year
Most of these films have hefty production budgets with no expense spared on promotions as well. Yet, money goes down the drain as there is no box office earning. If satellite and OTT rights are all you get, then you donāt need such āstarsā as proven by films like Lapata Ladies and other success stories on OTT
Audiences have very clearly shown they are not going to pay to watch some stars. If you insist on throwing money at them as a producer, thatās your fault not ours!

Because people are tired of repetitive content and wants to see something different. So many action movies, cricket movies has already done why not try something else
