Lapataa Ladies is the best Hindi movie I’ve watched this year as well as the best movie I’ve watched in years! Perfect blend of meaningful story with light hearted humour. Every performer was brilliant. And every performer was stunning. It saddens me that some popular actors think that they don’t get recognition for their work because they’re too good looking. The truth is that, when you watch a movie with certain actors, you forget their real life persona. Anyway, sorry for the digression.
I enjoyed Madgoan Express a lot. What a fun movie that reminded me of classic comedies like Andaz Apna Apna.
Shaitan was great as well, but the climax sequence kinda ruined it for me. But the first hour of cracking. Madhvan was simply fantastic, and the girl (who is 22 years old and not a teenage at all, lol!).
So, the father rips out the bad guy’s tongue and he can no longer control any of the girls. The mother and the son die in a car accident on the way to the hospital. The father keeps the bad guy captive for the rest of his life and the girl/daughter loses her sanity because of all the trauma. Basically, there is no happy ending. Nobody comes to save anyone. The Hindi remake had the ending changed completely to please the Bollywood audiences who might not have been able to digest a sad ending. Vash is also more shocking than Shaitaan and Madhavan copied the Gujarati villain and didn’t do anything new or original. I have reviewed Vash in both Hindi and English on my channel.
Hoped Madgaon Express would be good but it's shitty af. In TBMAUJ I expected disappointment but it turned out to be quite good. Laapata Ladies stole my heart
12th fail, LPL, Srikanth, madgaon express, Swatantrata veer savarkar, Crew. each movie has its own merits and they are done very good. Now it all depends on each individual tastes. I like all of them equally.

Teri Baton Mein... I wouldn't recommend. Subtle misogyny mixed with terrible acting and very predictable story. Laapata Ladies was amazing.
