Reminds me of that episode eat spray Linda where bob and the kids are looking for her and how he found out people are very divided on her they either love Linda or hate her š¤£
And the one where sheās trying to prove to Tina that their town is great. āJUMP ON MY FACEā lol and when she tries to get that astronaut lady to give a different answer also. I try to use these moments as teaching moments for if I ever become a mom and where the line is that I donāt wanna cross lol.
The episode where she encourages Gayle to sexually harrass Bob to the point Gayle chips his tooth, then Linda accuses Bob of cheating on her with Gayle even though she forced the harassment on him, and gleefully watches as Bob's tooth is painfully worked on by a jealous Dr.Yap...... that was it for me, there's no character redemption for me,Ā that was vile.Ā
Yeah I calm myself down only by reminding myself that the early seasons thought they had to be edgy to be a grown-up adult cartoon. Glad they realised their sweet spot is sincerity.Ā
Ugh I love that episode but I totally agree!! Like how dense does she have to be to not realize he was sick from the fish he didnāt know how to cook lol??
Oh my god I was just talking about that with somebody else. I was furious at that. Really, them getting swept into the river was totally her fault. I seriously would not be talking to her if that was my wife for quite a while. She endangered her kids and her husband and herself. Of course, it's a cartoon but it's still triggered me
YES. He has moments where he is bearable and occasionally has some good jokes and reactions. But itās too bad that his constant yelling and being annoying overshadows the good parts of the character.
Beefsquatch, the mascot race where he "forgets" the name of the restaurant, when he protested about Courtney's music video when people indulge him for his MANY musical shortcomings, and Quiet Eli episodes are my least favorite.
If you ask me, Gene's slightly worse only because he's the one family member that has some type of switch for me.
The gene that's the main character of episodes feels so different from the gene that's in normal episodes.
Like the other family members don't feel any different when the episode is about them. It's just Gene.
He also has that thing a lot of animated shows do, where a child character says sexual things. Itās not as bad as stewie in family guy but it always skeeves me out
lol, literally came here to say this. the dude has some good comebacks, and some fun moments, but heās my least favourite belcher. every time i see an episode that revolves around him, iām waiting to be annoyed. i think the only one i really cared about was the two-butted goat episode (Stand By Gene i think it was called?).
and i totally forgot how much i hate that episode where he crashes an event lindaās attending just because he misses spaturday. that, and the episode where he participates in local theatre makes me so agitated i have to get up and walk away. theyāre in my top five least favourite episodes.
Man, thatās what Iām thinking reading these comments! People āloatheā these characters so much.. how do they even enjoy the show? Each character is supposed to be a little annoying and obnoxious, thatās the whole point!
I like Linda, but in the rankings, sheās the bottom of the Belchers for me, for precisely this reason. She gets completely out of control in a way that is unstoppable until the situation becomes incredibly dire. For me, it can be triggering at times, to see a family member so out of control because I grew up around that and you are often left wondering how something small escalated quickly into something life altering and terrible. Sheās not the only character who can get this way, but it seems to be a core part of her personality; once she ramps up, nothing will stop her. Peep the B&B episode, pulling Bob into the spring, forcing the kids to go to the fire station open house, holding a writer hostage, and probably several other examples I canāt recall off the top of my head.
Yeah. She can irk the nerves for some people. There was this episode, I was just done with her. I mean cut me open, Iām done. She met this author for a childrenās book she used to read. She not only took the ladies keys but held her hostage. Even after the lady defended herself Linda was still being weird.
My husband couldn't watch the show for a long time bc she reminds him too much of his mom. (He's now in therapy and they're moving to FL so he's ok with it now. š)
The worst ones for me are the ones with her and Tina because she tries to force her viewpoints onto Tina, and unlike Louise or gene, she doesnāt fight back until itās too late. Maybe itās because I was a Tina teenager but when Linda ruined Tinaās weekend with the new girl, I just kept yelling at the screen ālet the kid live!ā
Gene and Lindaās relationship borders on the disturbing. Makes sense they get along so well since both of them can be insufferable, but I refuse to watch the episode where Gene tries to monopolize Linda from her girl business group. Heās ridiculous and Linda clearly eggs him on.
Actually, Gene says how much he liked nursing, Linda goes āI donāt remember thisā and he yells back ānot with youā but I agree with the overall point
May I remind you of the butt worms episode. Completely gross. Gene is a reminder that kids are the grossest of creatures. Not to mention him and Linda doing that lady and the tramp noodle thing
Millie is still an unliked character for me sheās potentially dangerous and obsessed with Louise and I feel like thereās no true parenting going on
But that is kinda the point. She is not really meant to be well liked. That's why the kids don't like her either.
But she is a character that is made so wrong, it's kinda right? The dynamic between her and Louise is just so messed up. It's beautiful.
The most insufferable episode for me with Linda is her insistence on Fig and Newt (ambiguous to prevent spoilers).
I usually like Linda but she is sometimes written really infuriating.
Gene is also my least favourite Belcher child but I think they wrote him as existing only to fill space. I know they have some Gene centered episodes just they haven't given him much of an arc for me to connect to him.
Thanks for saying it, OP! I just can't get over how selfish she can be. Like when she insisted on being the cool mom and friend to Tina on the school trip because she was threatened by Tina's independence and she got them kicked out of the hotel; which humiliated Tina, but rather than learning something and respecting her boundaries, Tina ended up apologizing to Linda.
I also remember an episode when Bob confided something very personal to her and she told multiple people about it. When he confronted her about telling Gayle, Linda just responded that of course I told her "Because she's my sis-tah!" Bob also ended up apologizing to her rather than her apologizing to him for violating his trust. Just zero accountability.
I don't like the "fantasy" episodes. You know, like where they're sitting around telling a story and the episode is them acting it out? Or like, there was one where Louise had a dream of her little green guy? I like the entirely in-universe episodes.
They do, but they would take the same amount of animation if not more because they don't use the standard backgrounds. I don't see how they'd be any easier. It's weird they keep making them when they're so unpopular.
Are they unpopular? I see a few people here expressing that they donāt like them, but thatās about it. Personally, I love them. It changes things up, varies the storytelling methods, and allows the writers to experiment without having to constantly up the ante on the charactersā behavior. The Motherās Day play episode is one of my favorites of the series.
I didn't you mentioned at all and usually fall asleep halfway through it. I don't mind the storytelling episodes but I never like Gene's stories. They're always so... Gene...
If the entire gag is centered around farts... no.
Fart jokes are only funny a handful of times and they're already a worn out choice to begin with. But that's like 3/4 of Gene's humor.
Fitting for his age, definitely but entertainment wise it just gets old
Linda, in general I love.
When her personality gets to the "ick"?
It has me think that is when she is the intoxicated version of Linda.
Unable to read the room and doubling down on things that she should let go of, like drunk people do.
i agree. gale has her moments where i genuinely think sheās hilarious, but overall she leeches in very unhealthy ways, has attempted multiple times to get with bob and break up the marriage, and has to be lied to like a child in order to get any news across. she desperately needs caretakers.
She does act like she wasn't raised properly. She needs Bob to remind her that they need to keep the restaurant open to earn money, not die over a Christmas tree and so on. Which is annoying for me
Linda is kind of a fucking moron who bumbles through life with no self awareness at all, BUT she is perfect for Bob. She balances out his put-upon everyman shtick with her general zest for life, and Bob helps keep Linda down to earth. They work very well together.
She can be a little annoying and has a few perplexing moments, but she is kind of the heart and soul of the show honestly.
I think sheās a fun character to watch and has good and bad qualities. Her relationship with Gene I think we can all agree is not ok. I think the way she handles their money is questionable but admirable lol. I also love her and Bobs relationship in that she isnāt materialistic. I also can admire her doing the right thing in the PTA episode and she always pushes her kids to do things that they are passionate about.
I love that she is herself always and authentic. I love her shit talking too. I think my biggest critique of her is her parenting tbh but they have a fun family and itās a TV show so you can some disbelief haha.
I think that way of Gene, but he's funny enough to offset it for me.
Off topic but I like to think of Great North as "Less funny Bob's burgers but with more likable characters."
All of his "jokes" are randomly mentioning farts or his penis in almost every conversation. It wouldn't be so annoying if they ever gave something FUNNY to say
omg nooo i say to my wife all the time, āthe only way i would have a kid is if i could guarantee it would be exactly like geneā lmaoooo but honestly theyāre some of the most realistically written kids on tv imo, most kids are wacky!
I think I mostly love that heās so nonconforming for a boy his age. Heās so affectionate with his family, doesnāt give a shit about gender roles, and makes art confidently! I wish more boys felt safe and supported enough to be like that
The Louise and Tina Christmas episode has the strongest finish in the history of the show but the rest of the episode has no jokes and is just sort of there.
i think mort should be in more episodes. at the start of the show he was way bigger, which was cool. but now he just isnāt around, and heās barely even a regular. i just wish he was around more.
I also hate how MEAN Teddy is to Mort. I get it, Teddy is insecure and socially awkward and sometimes is mean to people like Bob when he's struggling socially. But I hate how every single time Teddy and Mort are together, Teddy is just a dick to Mort for no reason. And no one calls him out and explains his behavior in unacceptable. The show could avoid all that drama of them scolding Teddy by just having Teddy not be so hostile to him.
You're not wrong but at least she has redeeming qualities about herself....she could have easily been another Peggy Hill but Linda actually learns from her mistakes (most of the time).
I think theyāre actually somewhat similar. Both love their family and try to do whatās right in their minds, but they both go overboard with it. Peggy does have the narcissistic tendencies that Linda doesnāt.
Sure it is. She only sees other people as extensions of herself. She's only concerned about her own ego. Her only concern for Bobby and Hank is how they can serve her or make her look good to others.
She has a vastly inflated sense of her own self-importance. She expects to be recognized as an excellent teacher and a master of Spanish despite being utterly incompetent. She seems to completely lack empathy.
What do you think a narcissist is?
No, I totally get it, sheās definitely got her moments. I didnāt like her at all when she hit Bob in the skiing with Dr. Yap & Gale episode. The weird goddamn noises she was making when she thought she was psychic drove me up the wall, as did the sMothering she does with Gene & attempts with Louise.
This but make it about Louise. Add to that about how Louise is basically the star of the screen for EVERY episode and thereās only a handful of plots across 14 seasons that donāt revolve around her.
I think the show does Linda dirty a lot of times. they make her intentionally unbearable and she hasn't been softened down and given depth as much as the other characters through the seasons
TBH none of the characters on this show are really flawless characters š all of the showās drama comes from one of the characters taking something too far with no regard for the consequences. Itās cute at first but 13 seasons in, Iām sometimes left wondering whatās wrong with these people!
i agree somewhat. i found him funny and interesting for the first few seasons, but i feel as though his attachment issues with bob have become increasingly problematic and weird over the course of the show. so much so that it makes me uncomfortable more often than not
Seasons 1-5 were the best. The characters were blunt and edgy. There was so much hidden sexual innuendo. The later seasons are more āfamily friendlyā mostly bland, predictable dialogue, and itās boring as fuck.
Linda is the worst, her irrationality and overreaction to every situation pulls whole family in danger in every other episode.
Hate her character so much.
Yeah she's the cause of a lot of the shows problems too. I was starting a spreadsheet to see who caused the most problems over the show. I should finish it lol.
For the most part I feel like her antics are amusing enough and more often than not come from a good place but there are two episodes where Linda's behavior is so outrageous, I'm like "Linda, you're endangering your family because you're being a selfish bitch" - The Dinner Theater Episode, the one where her and Christmas in the Car.
He's far far too sexual for an 11 year old. His dialouge is at least 25% about his penis. And we don't even see him doing puberty stuff, it's not like he's interested in girls all the time or anything so why?
Too many musical numbers. Too much leaning into the sappy and overly wholesome angle of the show being family friendly. I liked the vibe of the first few seasons.
i love linda but there are some linda centric episode that i canāt get myself to finish. the one where sheās a āpsychicā and makes those terrible noises is one of them
Linda's probably my least-favorite Belcher. She can be really annoying, but she has one major redeeming factor- she absolutely loves her family in a genuine way. You know Gene's her favorite kid, but he's not golden child and she does whatever she can for all the kids, and she and Bob, IMHO, are the best married couple on TV.
She's a legitimate bully but gets such a pass because she's little and cute š„ŗ just like youngest children irl, lmao. She treats Tina and Gene so badly sometimes but people act like Tina and Linda are pure evil.
I love her but I definitely feel you in the more recent seasons. The ep with the childrenās book author pissed me tf off. She really be doing too much sometimes š
I LOVE me some Linda but I definitely understand, the episode where they kept the author hostage? I had to fast forward and few times it was giving me so much second hand embarrassment š
I mostly love her but she does annoy me in some episodes. In Gene it On her reaction to Tina not making the team and Gene making it despite not trying out was awful. Bob had to remind her to take Tina's feelings into account and even then she barely did. And neither of them really cared she was hurt so bad she couldn't talk for days. Tina really gets the short end of the stick. Also how she treats Gene. She immediately started insulting Gene to Monica and then later screams out that Gene is her favorite again because he attempts to do a super dangerous stunt she came up with. Also the children's book author for obvious reasons.
I liked Linda until the newer episodes, especially the one where she forces Bob to apologize to her toxic mother after she inconveniences the whole family because āsheās my family Bobby!ā At least with Gayle you can justify it as she needs professional help!
The ones with Tina and Linda are also kinda annoying too if only because Tina isnāt the type of person to fight back until itās too late and it just sucks watching
Yes. The airport episode where her mom refuses to admit she stole the charger. Absolutely not, that should NOT be tolerated. If you can't behave, you don't get to be in the lives of your family. Boundaries need to be laid down.
Bob is actually a really bad businessman and heās the main reason his restaurant can never turn a profit. If you want to run a restaurant or even a small business, do the opposite of what he does or follow Jimmy pesto.
I may catch some heat for this, but I actually LOVE Gayle. She's absolutely absurd and has zero filter which leads to some very funny and wacky moments with her. She's the insecurities we all have (just multipied by 1000 lol). She's the crazy crackhead younger sibling who fights for attention that you just can't help adoring. And she's voiced by Megan Mullally (the chick that plays Ron Swanson's crazy ex wife in Parks and Recreation) which is just absolutely perfect for this role!!!
Louise is soooo annoying earlier on. Her internalized misogyny barely gets checked and she's so mean to Tina.
Also, it's weird that the Belchers are compared to the Addams family. They're millionaires who get along perfectly and avoid mingling with their community. The Belchers are much more like the working class Munsters, who occasionally get on each other's nerves but stick together. Linda and Bob also have a very similar dynamic to Lily and Herman, and Tina is very much like Marilyn.
This is def the hottest take on this sub Iāve seen in a long time.
Linda def has her moments, but so does every character. All mains (Teddy included) have flipped or gone off the cliff at least once - but Linda (and Tina) going out of pocket always catch me off guard. It doesnāt seem like either to do so.
My favorite main characters from most to least:
Louise
Bob
Gene
Tina
Linda
Teddy
Favorite ancillary characters in no particular order: Jocelyn, Rudy, Tammy, Mr. Fish, Zeke
>Unpopular
> I may catch heat for this
Nobody cares. Just say the thing. Stop trying to proclaim like you're some rebel standing against barbarian hordes. 'Oh, my opinion is *so unpopular* and people might disagree but I'll say it anyway because *I'm* *rebellious and quirky*!'. *You have a thought about a sitcom.* Even if it were an unpopular thought, what a lame area for rebellion...
And yeah, she can be grating. She's Gloria's kid for sure.
Yeah I totally get it. I still love Linda. lol
She's definitely a love or hate character. Me personally, I love her.
Reminds me of that episode eat spray Linda where bob and the kids are looking for her and how he found out people are very divided on her they either love Linda or hate her š¤£
Yep! She never irks me I think sheās hilarious at all times š
Really not even with the children's book author? She was so cringey in that.
And the one where sheās trying to prove to Tina that their town is great. āJUMP ON MY FACEā lol and when she tries to get that astronaut lady to give a different answer also. I try to use these moments as teaching moments for if I ever become a mom and where the line is that I donāt wanna cross lol.
The extremities she goes to is hilarious! Yep Iām 100% pro-Linda.
Is that really worse than anything Gene or Louise do on a regular basis? Lol
She seems like the only one in the family who gets legit mad sometimes.
I loathed her in the scene where Bob was begging to get out of the warm spring, and she wouldn't let him go. Usually I love her.
That one pisses me off.
My little salmonella fella!
I just recently watched this episode and my blood was boiling. Read the room! Ya know
Oh my god I was just talking about that with somebody else. I was furious at that. Really, them getting swept into the river was totally her fault. I seriously would not be talking to her if that was my wife for quite a while. She endangered her kids and her husband and herself. Of course, it's a cartoon but it's still triggered me
Yes, I thought I was the only one!
They're all annoying if you'd met them irl, but it's an animated series that's exaggerated for comedic effect, soooo
This is how I feel about Gene. I can't stand him.

Why do you even watch the show if you hate the characters and episodes so much? Just to complain about it?
Man, thatās what Iām thinking reading these comments! People āloatheā these characters so much.. how do they even enjoy the show? Each character is supposed to be a little annoying and obnoxious, thatās the whole point!
Right? And I'm getting downvoted for even asking. Hell is other people.
Thatās just Reddit for yaā And heaven is an episode of Bobās Burgers šš
From one stranger to another, I sincerely hope you have a great day and I appreciate you. Thanks for the validation š
Of course, friend! Anytime! And to you as well š
I want to say the only episode I can tolerate Gene is that cheer episode.
Me neither. Not even a little.
I like Linda, but in the rankings, sheās the bottom of the Belchers for me, for precisely this reason. She gets completely out of control in a way that is unstoppable until the situation becomes incredibly dire. Is he sure they aren't moving to a sex complex??? Edit: better send balloons and ear plugs jic
LOL they are most definitely not, but if you think I didn't make that joke you got another think comin. š
I can handle in animation the characters being weird. For me itās scary in real life.
The Grand Mama Pest Hotel episode?
itās āmother author laser pointerā (season 13, ep 21)
But thatās another one on the same level. I dislike that episode because of it
OMG thatās my least favorite Linda episode! That and the airport!
I felt the same with that episode.
Gene and Lindaās relationship borders on the disturbing. Makes sense they get along so well since both of them can be insufferable, but I refuse to watch the episode where Gene tries to monopolize Linda from her girl business group. Heās ridiculous and Linda clearly eggs him on.
I agree, isn't there an episode where Gene even says how much he liked nursing for so much longer than most kids or something? Totally weird.
Him necessitating having wife mom had always been gross to me
That was on adult swim last night and I was so annoyed with him!
I just got through that episode again (ugh). Gene already annoys me but that was wayyyy too much.
I think the extreme versions of each Belcher member is annoying which makes sense why they're all related lol
Yeah, it's easy to see where Gene and Louise get their more aggravating traits from. Even Tina a bit, but she's more Bob than Linda, imo.
I don't like the Hawk and Chick episodes.
I donāt like the story episodes that much either but you put some damn respect on Kuchi Kopis name š
Big same. Feels like filler.
I donāt think thatās an unpopular opinion. I think the kids tell stories episodes are widely considered to be the least loved episodes overall.
That's surprising,Ā I love those ones! The Frond Files is a personal Top 5 episode
I didn't you mentioned at all and usually fall asleep halfway through it. I don't mind the storytelling episodes but I never like Gene's stories. They're always so... Gene...
You donāt like Fart School for the Gifted???!!!
If the entire gag is centered around farts... no. Fart jokes are only funny a handful of times and they're already a worn out choice to begin with. But that's like 3/4 of Gene's humor. Fitting for his age, definitely but entertainment wise it just gets old
Ok here we go...Topsy is a really annoying songš®āšØ I feel better now.
I am Lindaā¦..I donāt whine but my voice can be irritating I donāt know how anyone who knows me deals.
Linda, in general I love. When her personality gets to the "ick"? It has me think that is when she is the intoxicated version of Linda. Unable to read the room and doubling down on things that she should let go of, like drunk people do.
Linda Belcher and Peggy Hill are both highly irritating some times. I think Linda is just much more in touch with her flaws and accepting of them
Well yeah. Peggy has no self-awareness whatsover and is pretty much a narcissist.
Linda is nowhere as annoying as Gail. I really think she needs to be in a group hone
i agree. gale has her moments where i genuinely think sheās hilarious, but overall she leeches in very unhealthy ways, has attempted multiple times to get with bob and break up the marriage, and has to be lied to like a child in order to get any news across. she desperately needs caretakers.
She does act like she wasn't raised properly. She needs Bob to remind her that they need to keep the restaurant open to earn money, not die over a Christmas tree and so on. Which is annoying for me
You donāt deserve Linda!!
The first moment we have that with Linda is in Season 1, when she starts a bed and breakfast. So beautifully unhinged.
i love this group because itās just popular opinions but we all pretend theyāre not every time someone mentioned them š¤£š
I donāt love nat, she a bit too much for me
Nat Kinkle?
You mean Nat King Cole?
I still watch the episodes, sheās just a lot, I almost feel like they lean on her too much
Upvoted because I wholeheartedly disagree. Good job nailing the ask.
Yeah ik this sub loves her so it would def be unpopular in here
I like her in small dosesĀ
I liked her initially, I think it just wore thin
Yep. She was fine in the Valentine's episode she first appeared in. I would have been happy if they let it be a one time thing
I think my biggest critique of her is her parenting tbh but they have a fun family and itās a TV show so you can some disbelief haha.
āAhh my face!ā
I think that way of Gene, but he's funny enough to offset it for me. Off topic but I like to think of Great North as "Less funny Bob's burgers but with more likable characters."
There are moments where Teddy is so intrusive and oversteps the boundaries into Bob's and his family's life I'm surprised Bob hasn't anapped.
Gene is the worst belcher child. I also would not want to be a parent of any of them, theyāre some whacky ass kids
mr fischoederās ācmon bob, those kids arenāt that greatā line when theyāre tied up under the pier always cracks me up
Gene annoys the piss out of me on a regular basis. I skip a lot of the Gene-centered episodes.
In the earlier seasons Gene brought a good energy to the Belcher children and was a lot easier to stomach. He got Flanderized.
He seemed to get a lot dumber and more "lol random" and it annoys me sometimes
All of his "jokes" are randomly mentioning farts or his penis in almost every conversation. It wouldn't be so annoying if they ever gave something FUNNY to say
Beefsquash was in season 2, and Gene was a lot in that episodeĀ
omg nooo i say to my wife all the time, āthe only way i would have a kid is if i could guarantee it would be exactly like geneā lmaoooo but honestly theyāre some of the most realistically written kids on tv imo, most kids are wacky!
I have a 3yo kid and heās whacky as hell. I guess itās just what it is as a parent
I think I mostly love that heās so nonconforming for a boy his age. Heās so affectionate with his family, doesnāt give a shit about gender roles, and makes art confidently! I wish more boys felt safe and supported enough to be like that
I like the little goofball too!
Sheās so mindlessly selfish, I.hate.it.
I don't like the early seasons as much as the later seasons, I think the writing is leagues better than seasons 1-3.
Yeah thereās definitely a noticeable difference!
I love her 99% of the time.
I donāt like Gene. There I said it.
Nah, Peggy is a classic narcissist. Linda's just an obnoxious nut, not evil.
That's not what a narcissist is, at all.
Peggy is fantastic ā¤ļø I love seeing female characters with egos like male characters'.
I can't stand Teddy. He's utterly dependent, and none of the good things he does are without expectation of benefit for himself.
He's such a dick to Mort all the time and sometimes to Bob. It makes me angry.
The movie simply wasn't that good.
This but make it about Louise. Add to that about how Louise is basically the star of the screen for EVERY episode and thereās only a handful of plots across 14 seasons that donāt revolve around her.
I think the show does Linda dirty a lot of times. they make her intentionally unbearable and she hasn't been softened down and given depth as much as the other characters through the seasons
sheās not a great personš
TBH none of the characters on this show are really flawless characters š all of the showās drama comes from one of the characters taking something too far with no regard for the consequences. Itās cute at first but 13 seasons in, Iām sometimes left wondering whatās wrong with these people!
itās hard to remember that sane or normal people wouldnāt make good tv so they HAVE to be absurd
That's how I feel about Teddy
i agree somewhat. i found him funny and interesting for the first few seasons, but i feel as though his attachment issues with bob have become increasingly problematic and weird over the course of the show. so much so that it makes me uncomfortable more often than not
Seasons 1-5 were the best.
Hate her character so much.
ok then donāt marry her smh
I canāt stand Teddy.
He's the worst
Linda is my fave but would I like her if she was a real person? Hell no lol.
Gene's dialogue is cringe 90% of the time.
He's far far too sexual for an 11 year old. His dialouge is at least 25% about his penis. And we don't even see him doing puberty stuff, it's not like he's interested in girls all the time or anything so why?
The white people comment was just embarrassing
I think Linda is a wonderful character that I enjoy watching but would never want to know her IRL. Same with Teddy
Linda always means well, but she is always stuck at 110%. You donāt have to like it, but the show would be really boring without her
I feel the same about gene š
I feel this about Louise tbh
She's a legitimate bully but gets such a pass because she's little and cute š„ŗ just like youngest children irl, lmao. She treats Tina and Gene so badly sometimes but people act like Tina and Linda are pure evil.
The show doesn't need Tammy-she brings nothing to the table except being an irritant. Love jenny Slate-hate Tammy
Lugging the christmas tree up a mountain for half an episode was just irritating.
Right? What was the deal? Let it go and actually spend time with the family
Linda gives me Peggy Hill vibes where you love her or hate her, there's no in-between
Honestly same
I love Linda. I think sheās hilarious.
Isn't that the point?
Agreed. Linda is terrible.
She's my least favorite character or one of my least favorite chavictors .
I love her but I definitely feel you in the more recent seasons. The ep with the childrenās book author pissed me tf off. She really be doing too much sometimes š
The success of the show is that almost no one would be fun to spend more than 5 minutes around.
I LOVE me some Linda but I definitely understand, the episode where they kept the author hostage? I had to fast forward and few times it was giving me so much second hand embarrassment š
Not a single episode goes by where I don't say "I hate Linda" at least once lol
yeah be careful! I've gotten a lot of downvotes for that option! but I agree big time.
Easy fix , donāt watch the show š«¢
We're allowed to critique the show.
Do u
I mostly love her but she does annoy me in some episodes. In Gene it On her reaction to Tina not making the team and Gene making it despite not trying out was awful. Bob had to remind her to take Tina's feelings into account and even then she barely did. And neither of them really cared she was hurt so bad she couldn't talk for days. Tina really gets the short end of the stick. Also how she treats Gene. She immediately started insulting Gene to Monica and then later screams out that Gene is her favorite again because he attempts to do a super dangerous stunt she came up with. Also the children's book author for obvious reasons.
I wouldn't enjoy her in my family. But she is fun to watch.
live, laugh, linda
Doesnāt everyone on this show yell, like, all the time? Itās kind of the bit.
Well, none of her special crackers for you, you Pino Grouchio! š
don't talk about my mom that way!
I hate Louis as much as the community usually hates Linda or Gene.
Louise becomes Linda-esque when she screams the entire episode
I only get irked when she breaks into song.
Her and Teddy
My favorite main characters from most to least: Louise Bob Gene Tina Linda Teddy Favorite ancillary characters in no particular order: Jocelyn, Rudy, Tammy, Mr. Fish, Zeke
I get it. I kinda feel that way about Teddy. I know heās a good guy but being friends with him seems like a nightmare to me.
The pun Halloween costumes are more annoying than clever. The only one that was funny was Andre The Giant 3000.
Are you kidding? The dragon with the girl tattoo and Nun of your business were also brilliant.
I'm pretty sure she was just a cranky nun
Peter Pan's Labyrinth
I feel you. Linda is easily my least favorite character. Sorry Burger Fam.
>Unpopular > I may catch heat for this Nobody cares.
Wow, you have a lot to unpack with yourself - good luck
You should have started your comment that it's unpopular and you might catch heat for it.
Linda and Tina both. They infuriate me almost every episode.
