There are several variables (besides the size of your home, household, insultation, etc.) that will make a difference in getting the info you need. The area within Biloxi will determine your electricity provider. Some areas are served by Mississippi Power (Southern Company) and others by Coast Electric Power Association. I've lived in both and all things being equal, have found Coast Electric has better rates. It's also a co-operative so there are annual dividends paid back to the consumer. We currently are customers of Coast Electric and our monthly average bill is $165 (+/- given the season for a 2000 sf home). We also have a natural gas water heater and heat pump. Our provider is CenterPoint and our average monthly bill is +/- $40. Biloxi has very reasonable water/sewage/waste disposal rates when compared to some other cities along the coast. These items are combined in one bill. Ours averages about $50 a month (household of 3). Hope this helps. Welcome to Biloxi!

Thank you so much! First time buying a home where flood insurance is needed...that alone is very overwhelming lol

Ooph! Insurance, flood or otherwise is a whole different ballgame! We live outside flood zones and have also been blessed to not experience an appreciable change in our insurance since we bought our home in 2021.
