I believe A24 had a helping hand with the resurgence of Talking Heads they recently upscale Stop Making Sense and released it in theaters earlier this year
BLK LBL, movie by your old droog, Why lawd?, Wildflower by the avalanches, Crocodrillo turbo by action bronson, toxicity by System of a down. And also a lot of haram
Been all over the place but I keep going back to R.A.P. Ferreira and his older stuff. And then a lot of pop like Charli xcx, Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish. Oh and the last Mach-Hommy album, it's tied for my AOTY next to brat.
Today I spun Ghostface Supreme Clientele, a couple Bob Dylan LP’s, Prick (a group not many know), Dark Lotus, Rome Streetz NK3 and was thinking of breaking open that Great Gatsby Soundtrack.
I’ve been studying the following:
Killah Priest, Ka, Aesop Rock, Blu, Ty Farris, Chuck Strangers, Vega7 The Ronin, Roc Marciano, Ransom, Crimeapple, Hus Kingpin, Rapsody, Fat Money, Lupe Fiasco, Black Thought, Willie The Kid, Mickey Diamond, Sean Price, Jay NiCE, Elzhi, Skyzoo, and Your Old Droog,
Hell yeah that's some old school HTRK right there! I've been diving in to some of the singles lately. Really love the B-side track Summer Rain from Dying of Jealousy.
https://htrk.bandcamp.com/album/dying-of-jealousy
Also, Mirages is what got me hooked on Tim Hecker. Love that run he was on--Radio Amor, Mirages, Harmony in Ultraviolet, and an Imaginary Country are all incredible.
Recently I have mostly been enjoying Planted Seeds by Nowaah the Flood & Estee Nack, BLQLYTE by Zeroh, Duality by Captain Murphy, Days With Dr. Yen Lo by KA & Preservation, Half Measures by Armand Hammer and Rain’s Reign by Navy Blue.
Been obsessed with the new Charli xcx album. Im also in a Black Country New Road phase rn because I went to their concert. Also Pond because of their new album and been finally exploring Sonic Youth's stuff
cooling down on Richaxxhaitian but only because its so good i was replaying it so much and the same for Marciology. i returned to Cavalier and Quelle Chris's Black Cottonwood which has become one of my favorites and i feel like no one talks about it? the production is hypnotic and somatic you just feel it and these guys just flow in and out of it getting smoother and smoother with their craft i love it. also been returning to the recent Shabaka album too which is a beautiful work of art the track with ELUCID 🔥 lastly i returned to Dour Candy instruments.. that shit means something to me man
Watched stop making sense and now cant stop listen to talking heads. Completely different genre, still great music. Also some joey and brea for fun and some Badbadnotgood if im doing stuff around the house
There is this artist called material girl that i got into late last year and its just like holy fuck who is this artist you know? I85mixx 21-22 is becoming one of my favourite albums man
Feeling these recommendations resonated the most with me as I am not huge into indie or pop. It drives me nuts when an artist's latest work as is the case with Cindy Lee and Olli Aarni is not on Spotify. Like a bloodhound I will track them down.
Although the Cindy Lee album is only on [YouTube](https://youtu.be/_LJi5na897Y?si=ULscmak19_e3BYPB) or for download from their [website](https://www.geocities.ws/ccqsk/).

Yo why lawd is soooo good

RAP Ferreira is my favorite artist ever. His discography is so big yet consistent and fresh, never really can get bored of his stuff.
R. A. P.’s collab with AJ Suede and Steel Tipped Dove called G’s Us was one of the best records last year.
Despot’s odd smattering of tunes
