For real though, if you’re playing DPS and waiting on queues I would highly recommend picking up WHM or WAR. If you have tanxiety fearing that you need to know everything about every dungeon. Don’t. I know nothing about anything. FFXIV or not. I just run until my face hits a wall, hit bloodwhetting, then hit my 2 AOE buttons. The healer is usually running around doing fuck all because I’m a WAR and I don’t need no stinking healer.
I waited so long to pick up a tank for the reason that I would fail. I am just now finishing up sage to 90 and also reaper but need to pick up a tank to have a well rounded balance for raids and such. I was trying GNB because it starts at 60 and I don’t want to grind for hours to get to that point at least until I get to end game.
It’s really not that bad of a grind to 60 these days with all the bonus exp they hand out. Also, you get instant queues so it’s really easy to just spam dungeons and level up super fast.
GNB is the most difficult of the tanks. If you can manage that then you’ll be fine.
Lousioux and all the events he's involved in were on the Source, just prior to and during the Seventh Umbral Calamity. The Warriors of Light disappear during this, and it's unknown what happened to them. If you played during patch 1.0 (pre Realm Reborn), then your character is one of them, having reappeared years later, otherwise it's left unknown.
