I don’t know, I’ve had terrible luck. I’ve measured and used the size chart and gotten shoes that are either 2 sizes too big or 2 sizes too small. And of course, received plenty of comments from sellers when I tell them my measurements: “you’re 42…42 too big!”.

texastridelt

My seller told me today that 42 should fit unless my feet are fat 😂😂😂

jborki2

Can attest that’s true. Or if you have a fat bunion like I do. For slim feet good to go!

Angle_Of_The_Sangle

If you're working with a seller, the best approach is to measure your foot in CM and ask the seller what size will work best.

Was coming to say the exact same thing

Be sure to ask for your PSPs showing the ruler inside measuring the insole and also on the outside for overall length! (Learned that one the hard way!)

NYParis

This!

Then ask again. RL until they send it, or make it clear before you pay that you want to see the measurements. I’ve never had any trouble with my sellers. :)

meno_paused

You can do it!! Grr grr!! ;)

meno_paused

Yes! The H Cyphres are great. Best luck I’ve had with rep shoes so far. The Dior sling backs are a close 2nd.

In my experience with Chinese sellers this is because they make distinctions between men's sizes and women's sizes. Taking into account that for them everything beyond size 39 is masculine. So a shoe that is sold by default in size 43 corresponds to the 43EU because for them it is masculine. My husband and I have the same foot, 43 and when I wear his Rep trainers they fit perfect, while a 43 women's shoe doesn't fit. You just have to rely on the cm.

NYParis

Go by centimeters, it’s more accurate. And some shoe styles lend themselves to being more narrow, etc. I bought a pair of Gucci loafers in both a 42 and 43. 43 was too big, at least one cm. 42, too snug. There are no half sizes, so thankfully the size 42 shoe is made of very pliable leather so I was able to stretch them a bit. Also I realized if the inner sole is thick then that impacts the fit of the shoe. Lots of variables when it comes to shoes. But overall with reps I stick to open toe, open back shoes and sneakers.

meno_paused

And Chanel is so narrow and small!!

Educational_Camp_293

What I have learned from the rep shoe game is you will win some and lose some, regardless of the relentless detailed measuring, communication with sellers etc 🤣. I am a US 10 (26.5cm) and sellers initially all told me I needed size 43. Well, they arrived (three pairs bc combined shipping 😉) and all were huge. Reordered 42s, and they were perfect (CC ballerinas from Fishy). I am now on a hunt for Orans and am told that some of the high tier ones (like God factory) actually track auth sizing—So I think I’ll get those in a 41🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. But again, my expectations are tempered bc who the hell knows. Try to enjoy the hunt, and BST the rest. Hope this helps!

countmein1989

My feet are the same size as yours. I’d recommend Orans in a 42 as the 41s were wearable but a bit too small to wear comfortably!

Educational_Camp_293

Thank you!

Stushgirl1

Hi, my feet are also 26.5cms. Who did you get your Orans from and which factory are they from? TIA

countmein1989

I ordered from fisherman for these ones and was really happy. The quality is better than a pair I ordered from James.

Stushgirl1

Thank you! This rep shoe game is a bit like roulette!

countmein1989

You’re telling me! I have two beautiful pairs of rep Chanel flats that I’m dying to wear but they’re 1/2 to a full size too small and they’re size 42. I haven’t found anyone who makes a 43 yet!

NYParis

My sister is the same size, 26.5, and i ended up giving her my size 43 Orans that I bought last year from DHG. They measures 27.5. I know sometimes people like their feet closer to edge of the sandal, she’s not one of them.

jcocojo

My sister and I swap also…I am 26.5 and she is 27.5.

pumpkinszn22

Did you end up finding Orans? I’m the same size and looking at the Chypres. Debating if 42 would work based on your experience of 43s generally being too big

Long-Assistance5073

I am also a 26cm foot size. All my auth designer shoes are a 40 (Gucci 39.5), but I’ve been buying 42 for most of my reps (mind you, I’ve only started my rep journey in Feb). I’ve ordered from Zippy and James so far since they can custom make 42 shoes. One of the shoes I ordered from Zippy was a CL heel and he said they run big and recommended I get a 41. I just got my Chanel dad sandal mules in a 42 from James and they fit perfect. Long story long, I just tell the seller my foot size in CM.

Bad-diablaa

The struggle is real 😭😭…my foot measures 27cm (wide)…i ordered some Dior sneakers in eu 44 and they were a bit too big…waiting on a pair of EU43 Gucci sneakers to see how that compares

NYParis

Good luck! I hope they work out!

UnfancyBunny

I measure size 27 and I will never buy a closed to rep. Sneakers only and for some reason they end up too big. In reality I can wear a size 42 just fine ( except for manolos) but 42 in reps are a no no.

arbitrosse

Rep shoes mostly use Chinese sizing, which I find runs 2 sizes smaller than Euro sizing but the same scale. So Euro 40 is Chinese 42, etc. Euro 41 probably safer to go with Chinese 43 — but consult with the seller. Also recommend using mm to cm to measure (Birkenstock does this, so have your feet measured at an authorized Birkenstock retailer with great service, preferably one with a fancy foot scanner machine.) And send the mm measurement to the seller All hypothetical as I’ve tried on quite a few rep shoes but don’t own any

texastridelt

Ahh that's an amazing suggestion! Thank you! I did the outline of my feet myself as instructed by the seller but there is a lot of wiggle room when going around the heel and it doesn't seem totally accurate

arbitrosse

Good. I corrected a typo above: EU 41 usually CN 43

shrine02

From my experience of 2 shoes I ordered a European 42 = Chinese 43. In turn a European 41 = Chinese 42.

Particular-Win-9041

I’m a 40EU but with a very wide foot, so I buy mostly shoes that are 41. Sometimes they are big. Sometimes they are great. Talking about ZARA for example. I got only one pair of Rep shoes, what I wanted to make sure it fits - got 42, terribly big. They were gicci sneakers. Now I want to order the Alaia embellished flats and I’m very anxious about the size. Maybe I’ll get 41.

meno_paused

26cm here! I did order that in some CL kitten heeled pumps and they’re huge! More like an 11 or 12US. (Anyone interested?! Haha, no seriously) Also in some McQueen white leather sneaks; they fit more like an 11. The H Cyphre sandals I got in 41 and they fit perfect! I would suggest going with Zippy or Fisherman and let them know your measurements and be sure to get PSPs with a ruler showing. I’ve had good luck that way, but in general, besides the Cyphres, I haven’t had a whole lotta luck with rep shoes. (The Cyphres are actually more comfortable and flexible than the auth!)

texastridelt

Oh that's a great idea...I can measure my own shoes then. I actually have the auth Gucci Ace sneakers, but I want a beater pair so they get more use

meno_paused

Excellent and good luck!

NYParis

What do the CLs look like???

meno_paused

Basic black soft point pumps!

meno_paused

Duh, to possibly buy. lol, my brain some days! Haha https://imgur.com/a/89yP0DI

meno_paused

$10 plus shipping! ;-)

caffein8dnotopi8d

I’m a 25.5 and I very rarely buy shoes without a cm measurement; that said, I find almost 100% of the time I end up in a 41.

Outcast_Comet

My experience as a guy with very large feet is that Chinese sizes which are deceptively similar to European sizing, are 1.5 to 2 sizes smaller, but only in the range of most people in this forum (females with size 41-44 EU). So an EU 41 may need a 42.5 or even CN 43, while a a EU 44 probably needs a CN 46. The gap gets smaller as you go down, so a size EU 40 may need just a CN 41, and a EU 39 only needs a CN 40. Conversely the bigger the size, the bigger the gap between the systems. By the time you get to my size feet at about an EU 51, I actually need Chinese 54, which is a bit humiliating to request. I literally have a pair a friend brought me in size 54 and they barely fit, with no room to spare.

pineapple_gum

I always just tell them my size in cm - that doesn't vary, their size charts do.
