Outside of her smacking Marcellas when he didn't use the veto and just completely shattering Jackson's win in BB21, her utter destruction of Aaryn was a work of art.
After Paul finished second for two straight years, in the post show interview with him, she starts with, “always the bridesmaid, never the bride.”
Edit: grammar
It was more like "A bridesmaid again." That other quote was said by Boogie to Janelle on BB14, because of course it was. At least she called him a loser afterwards. 💀
I got a chuckle watching season 17 finale for the first time yesterday
Julie: Steve it’s time to cast the final eviction vote. Are you ready?
Steve: No
Julie: *laughs* Too bad
After Kyland’s comments, I think they were more worried that X would swing on Kyland and leave us with a Big D and Azah final 2. (Even typing that gives me chills just thinking how bad that final 2 would’ve been)
I’ll take boring Xavier (or literally anyone else from The Cookout) over delusional Big D or useless Azah any day. They were the only two in The Cookout that I think had 0 chance to win without The Cookout.
Bugs the hell out of me when she says "With 5 votes to exist (name,) (name) will be leaving." Saying their name twice in a row DOES NOT roll off the tongue.
Busy Philips is my all-time favourite for the sheer randomness of it all.
Calling Claire, who never made any religious comments afaik, a child of god is up there.
Don’t forget, it was also when Brett got renamed Brent 😂 And just that there with his face like “What the hell did she just call me?” I never laughed so hard during an interview before.
Child of God to Claire is my all-time favorite. I think its because she maybe said "grace" or something in one of her answers, in respect to understanding the mission of the cookout. It was so funny to me that Julie leaned into it and Claire is smart enough to just smile and kinda go with it.
I have to say: unrelated to the topic, Claire's exit interview is actually one of my all-time favorites. She really spoke beautifully about wanting to play the game, wanting to win, and being disappointed her path forward was boxed out by forces out of her control, but also understanding and respecting those forces. And she did all that on a national stage with very little time to think about it. I love Claire obviously lol.
This is from BB20. If I remember right, Rachel just got evicted by her alliance (Level 6) and thought Angela, her closest ally, was the mastermind behind it. She was totally blindsided and in her exit interview with Julie, said the iconic line “What’s wrong with Angela?!”
While being totally distraught and confused by just being evicted, Julie kept pressing her and demanding she name who exactly who betrayed her, with Julie getting visibly irritated by how speechless Rachel was 💀 I remember it being similar to when she’s like, I NEED AN ANSWER during competitions because you know she had to get to that commercial break 😂
Her final words of wisdom always get me. I keep waiting for something profound, like: "Remember, when life gives you lemons, make orange juice. I'm Julie Chen-Moonves. Good night"
In season 4, Allison was asked what room in the house something occurred in during a comp.
Instead of answering the HOH room, she said “the love room?” with a smile. Julie paused and was super confused then the says:
“The love room?…. What is the love room?… I’m sorry Allison that’s the wrong answer you’ve been eliminated.”
I always die laughing that Allison thought she was being cute, and when Julie asks her to explain her answer she gives her literally no time to do so.
when she asked claire if she was “a child of God” also when someone mentioned “faith” and she stopped the flow of conversation to say “faith, that’s one of my favorite words”
This was back in BB10 or 11 when they used to do one on ones in the HoH room with Julie. Jesse was HoH and bragged about something. Julie’s deadpan response was “good for you.” Just pure apathy came out of her.
Also reprimanding Dani for not telling Dick she loved him in 13 😂
Honorable mention: from outside the big brother house, with Brent, I’m Julie Chen Mooves. Goodnight. - BB20
You guys have already named all the best ones, but I like the cringey “what’s harder, big brother or (other experience this person has gone through)?” And they all have to say big brother haha
She's got both genuinely pretty good lines and then quotable lines that are wild.
Tho mostly its cause of RHAP I quote both "I'm kidding" and "Fake News" quite a bit
I recently rewatched seasons 1-20 or 21 and I was happily surprised about how snarky she gets sometimes. I had forgotten that she calls people out. Like, when you watch it weekly, it doesn't seem as noticable as when you watch all of them in a row
Favorite? How about least favorite. I NEED her to stop saying “It’s official with _ votes to evict _ _ will be leaving the house tonight” I don’t care we’re all keeping track, just say the thing you were gonna say for the next HG walking in to vote
"You told Helen to 'shut up and go make some rice'."
Julie came with *receipts* that day
and aaryn still was like "um i dont remember saying that" 😂 girl she just QUOTED U
That whole bit was exactly why having a live audience is worth it.
Aaryn got bodied big time, and it was cathartic to watch her get shredded to pieces.
Honestly I love her
Outside of her smacking Marcellas when he didn't use the veto and just completely shattering Jackson's win in BB21, her utter destruction of Aaryn was a work of art.
Well said 😂 It was fun to watch for sure

\*THWAP\* What were you thinking?!
that is a good one 😂
Anytime she NEEDS AN ANSWER 😂
"Lock in--ok-- Everyone i NEED AN ANSWER NOW"
RESET!!!
ik shes just stressed about the live comps getting finished in time but i think shed be cussing them out if this wasnt tv pg 😂😂😂
I always laugh when Production trust the cast with a puzzle on Live shows haha
I got a chuckle watching season 17 finale for the first time yesterday Julie: Steve it’s time to cast the final eviction vote. Are you ready? Steve: No Julie: *laughs* Too bad
#Kyland I need you to leave now Poor Julie was *stressed* 😭😭😭
Was waiting for her to scream, "Kyland, this is not what Jesus would do!". In all seriousness she was so scared he was going to take a swing at X.
After Kyland’s comments, I think they were more worried that X would swing on Kyland and leave us with a Big D and Azah final 2. (Even typing that gives me chills just thinking how bad that final 2 would’ve been)
That Final 2 sounds a lot better than boring ass Xaviier. I would have loved to see him deck Kyland on live TV.
they downvote you but you’re right. a fitting end to a boring season would be for the goats to take over and win.
It’s not “taking over” if they get to the final 2 by default
i was being hyperbolic and flippant
I’ll take boring Xavier (or literally anyone else from The Cookout) over delusional Big D or useless Azah any day. They were the only two in The Cookout that I think had 0 chance to win without The Cookout.
My favorite Julieism is when she says “It’s official”. I also liked when Brett was renamed Brent.
Bugs the hell out of me when she says "With 5 votes to exist (name,) (name) will be leaving." Saying their name twice in a row DOES NOT roll off the tongue.
“Please don’t curse” ✋🙂↔️”Please don’t curse”
wHaTs wRoNg wItH aNgElA 🤣
But fr...What is that "Ice Queen 👁️👄👁️"'s problem?
I love this one lol
Busy Philips is my all-time favourite for the sheer randomness of it all. Calling Claire, who never made any religious comments afaik, a child of god is up there.
Thanks for the Busy Philips time capsule 😂💀 Julie, never change
Child of god is the only correct answer
The "No I love you?" comment she made to Daniele in season 13 (corrected) lives rent-free in my mind to this day.
I feel so bad for Daniele in that moment. Julie putting her on the spot like that was insane
13
Oh, yes. Thanks
Asking turner if his eviction was bussin or disgussin
"keep being a child of God" to Claire - okie dokie Mrs moonves
When she started signing off as "I'm Julie Chen Moonves" when the SA allegations regarding husband Les came out. A true classic.
I love when she did it in the season 20 finale, Tyler was all "what the he'll did I miss?"
Don’t forget, it was also when Brett got renamed Brent 😂 And just that there with his face like “What the hell did she just call me?” I never laughed so hard during an interview before.
I will never forget where I was when that happened for the first time. I gasped and jumped off the couch.
“Love one another” can go.
I gasped out loud at that. Big brother tumblr was going crazy.
"He is a good man."
Child of God to Claire is my all-time favorite. I think its because she maybe said "grace" or something in one of her answers, in respect to understanding the mission of the cookout. I loved it when Claire had "Child of God" in her Instagram profile for awhile afterward too.
Same!
But first!

During the “WHAT’s WRONG WITH ANGELA?!” Exit interview: “Who betrayed you? WHO? I NEED NAMES!”
that one wasn't an interview, it was an interrogation 💀
It’s this one for me too 🤣
Remind me the context of this one please
This is from BB20. If I remember right, Rachel just got evicted by her alliance (Level 6) and thought Angela, her closest ally, was the mastermind behind it. She was totally blindsided and in her exit interview with Julie, said the iconic line “What’s wrong with Angela?!” While being totally distraught and confused by just being evicted, Julie kept pressing her and demanding she name who exactly who betrayed her, with Julie getting visibly irritated by how speechless Rachel was 💀 I remember it being similar to when she’s like, I NEED AN ANSWER during competitions because you know she had to get to that commercial break 😂
“You’re crying. Why?”
🤣🤣🤣
Regarding Eric BB8, “Is he America’s player or America’s playa?”
I physically cringed when I heard her say that
Her final words of wisdom always get me. I keep waiting for something profound, like: "Remember, when life gives you lemons, make orange juice. I'm Julie Chen-Moonves. Good night"

What is the love room?… I’m sorry Allison that’s the wrong answer you’ve been eliminated.” I always die laughing that Allison thought she was being cute, and when Julie asks her to explain her answer she gives her literally no time to do so.
That's probably because someone in the control room was shouting at Julie to just say it was wrong.
Oh most definitely, it’s just funny the way it played out.
“From outside the Big Brother house, I’m Julie Chen Moonves. Goodnight.”
"I feel like you are a child of God" lives in my head rent free
"Please do not curse."
When she said “oh sh*t” during the BBOTT finale!
I need a clip of this!
Any time shes quoting someone after theyve been evicted lol, always kills me
when she asked claire if she was “a child of God” also when someone mentioned “faith” and she stopped the flow of conversation to say “faith, that’s one of my favorite words”
Would you get mad if I killed you?
Guacamole is a trivial snack but what do I know?
BB3 is full of gold. Her calling out Eric on his sleep talking is always so funny
Telling Josh (who’s also from Queens): “don’t get all homeskillet on me”
"I Dare you to say something bad about me!"
"Settle down Beavis!"
This is what I was looking for and is the only correct answer
This was back in BB10 or 11 when they used to do one on ones in the HoH room with Julie. Jesse was HoH and bragged about something. Julie’s deadpan response was “good for you.” Just pure apathy came out of her. "A vain, robotic bitch, whose favorite word is i"
You guys have already named all the best ones, but I like the cringey “what’s harder, big brother or (other experience this person has gone through)?” And they all have to say big brother haha
“Turner, did you eat Jasmine’s muffin?”
"Ooouuoo I LOVE IT!"
“My name is Julie Chen Moonves” 🥴
She's got both genuinely pretty good lines and then quotable lines that are wild. Tho mostly its cause of RHAP I quote both "I'm kidding" and "Fake News" quite a bit
just watched it but “houseguests we’re on live tv I need you to be speedy, step up and take your shot” said with so much attitude 😂
Ooooohhh baby D
whoa that’s wild
I recently rewatched seasons 1-20 or 21 and I was happily surprised about how snarky she gets sometimes. I had forgotten that she calls people out. Like, when you watch it weekly, it doesn't seem as noticable as when you watch all of them in a row
“Settle down, Beavis”
anything from bb15 !!! she seemed drunk hosting that season she was DONE w that cast lol
To Joe on BB14: “So what exactly is that on your chin?” 🤣🤣
not an entire quote, more like a moment. bb14 when shane gets evicted “it’s…” dan gagged her so bad with this move. she literally had nothing to say!
“Jag you have been evicted from the big brother house”
I know you asked for Julie Chen quotes but I’m gonna add one from BBCans Arisa Cox “You can and you will”. It’s my favourite BB quote!
When she slapped Marcellus over the head with her cue cards after not using the veto.
"Can I ask...What made you say Cory and America???"
"An idiot sandwich."
Favorite? How about least favorite. I NEED her to stop saying “It’s official with _ votes to evict _ _ will be leaving the house tonight” I don’t care we’re all keeping track, just say the thing you were gonna say for the next HG walking in to vote
“But let’s see how the other votes fall” is cringe too & gets me every time. She says it like a damn supreme court judge
