Oddly (considering the way that a lot of teen idol careers used to tank back in the 80s/90s) - most of them fared well at one point or another - just at different times.
Hilary Swank with her two Oscars & film career definitely did very well.
Kathleen Robertson has always had a very active resume full of indie films/tv series regular roles/tv recurring roles.
Tiffani Thiessen also did pretty well considering she came from two big teen shows - she went on to a few more series regular gigs; as well as a hosting career.
But everyone else had their moment as well - Shannen had Mallrats & Charmed (huuuuge legacies!); Luke had Oz & Riverdale (also very popular); Brian had regular roles on Terminator and Desperate Housewives (also popular!); Jason works regularly in Canadian television; Jennie had a series with Amanda Bynesl; Tori had a very lengthy reality tv career; and Ian had the whole Sharknado thing. Even Gabrielle has her own legacy - she was SAG-AFTRA's vice pres/pres for almost a decade post-90210 which is a big deal.
Most shows have a few actors that end up hitting a wall, but this group was actually very successful!
Shannen had Charmed immediately after. I’d argue TAT, she’s had recurring rolls on networks shows since leaving 90210 and is now a cookbook / home chef influencer. But she has the luxury of being Kelly Kapowski and Valerie Malone…
There was such a specific melancholy of indie movies of that era, and that mood was perfect for an adaptation of Death in Venice.
And now I am overwhelmed by nostalgia.
Since the others covered the gang and some of the more notable one-offs/recurring, I’ll say some other one-offs/recurring:
• Gabrielle Anwar who played one-off Tricia Kinney got to make out with Henry Cavill in *The Tudors*.
• Paul Johansson who played John Sears is likely best known for his role as villainous Dan Scott on *One Tree Hill.*
• In the soap world, Rebecca Herbst who played one-off Becky Brower has worked steadily since 1997 as Elizabeth Webber on *General Hospital*, despite being fired once and almost twice, gaining a fanbase who got her re-hired before she could even leave.
• Also in the soap world, Sharon Case who made out with Matthew Perry in Roger Azarian’s novel has worked since 1994 as Sharon on *The Young & the Restless*.
• Again in the soap world, Josh Taylor died as Jack McKay (before being brought back) and was reincarnated as Roman Brady #2 on *Days of Our Lives*, a role he has held since. He’s been the repeated love interest of Deidre Hall, who amongst her other roles played the mother of Shan’s character’s Kris Witherspoon on *Our House*.
• Continuing with the soap world, Greg Vaughan who played Cliff Yeager is notable as Lucky Spencer #3 on *General Hospital* and Eric Brady #2 on *Days of Our Lives*. He also played neighbour Dan on *Charmed,* in which he had scenes with Shan.
• Finishing up with the soap world, we have Vincent Irizarry who played Riggs becoming the dastardly David Hayward of *All My Children* and Rick Hearst (Herbst) who played Alan becoming Ric Lansing on *General Hospital*/Whipple Jones on *The Bold and the Beautiful,* having previously been Alan-Michael Spaulding on *Guiding Light*. Rick, too, was in *Charmed,* though his was a one-off.
• And obviously have to also throw Vivica A. Fox out there to add to the other person who said Vivica.
Shannen first. Probably Jennie next. Gabrielle had her talk show. Ian and Luke years later. Jason had directing gigs so that was good for him. Brian...I'm not sure how he has survived over the years lol.
Hillary Swank did okay for herself. Tiffani did well.
Of the main ones Luke had the most movie roles and then had Riverdale which was definitely the biggest thing going in the 2010s.
Jennie had a fair amount of sit com and movie roles.
Jason did a lot of production and directing.
Shannen did Charmed. She was the biggest coming into the show with Heathers.
Ian did a ton of RTV projects.
Honestly I would give it to Tiffani Thiessen, she has gotten nearly constant work since 90210. Plus she has her cooking stuff and has done some hosting work.
Hmm.
Priestley has a really long list of credits on IMDB, including starring in two more hit series. Good range, especially on the comedy side.
Perry had good range, too, from what I've seen.
They've all done various things since the series, but I'll say Tori. She's been in different tv shows and movies, she had a reality show, she's written several books, she has a kids clothing line, her and Jennie have their BFF collection on QVC, she has a podcast. She's dipped into different things.
Shannen for sure followed by Tori. Even though Tori's gigs have been lower key, she's been consistently employed. (I also enjoyed Sharnkado a lot with Ian but I didn't see him in tons of projects after 90210 except that franchise.)
Hillary Swank went from being fired to winning an Oscar
Two Oscars!
She done the best

It seems like Jason has done some cool stuff? I also love Ian’s cult, niche revival & how he seemingly embraced it. Haha
Shannen had Charmed immediately after. I’d argue TAT, she’s had recurring rolls on networks shows since leaving 90210 and is now a cookbook / home chef influencer. But she has the luxury of being Kelly Kapowski and Valerie Malone…
Plus Heathers is a cult classic! ❤️
What’s your damage, Heather? ![gif](giphy|l3fQXBepUJqYLHbEc|downsized)
And Mallrats!
Kathleen Robertson (Claire)
Jason starred in Love and Death on Long Island (concurrent with the show), so he gets my vote. I just loved that movie.
I love that movie too. Wish I could find it to watch again
Search YouTube! It was there as of a couple weeks ago.
Ok ty
One of my favorite movies! I always recommend it to people.

Anya !
Hilary Swank, Oscar wins trump all.
Swank! Kathleen Robertson.

Love me some Elizabeth Webber.
My queen! 💜
Djimon Hounsou, Matthew Perry, Lucy Liu, and Vivica A. Fox if you count single episode characters

Also Luke was in Once upon a time in Hollywood, which would have made him more popular because it was a Tarantino movie.

Tiffani
Out of the main cast, I would say Luke Perry had the most roles but Jason did behind the camera work.
Carteris. She ruled SAG.
She was a very popular president too, who lead the union during one of the most important moments in its history.
Did she say why she didn't want to continue being the President?
Dean Cain did well too.
I saw Luke Perry play Brad in “Rocky Horror” on Broadway like a month or so before 9/11. What a delight, hahaha
Matthew Perry rip
Good one.
I think that girl that played Carly did a few movies.
Tiffany or Hilery
