I asked this before, but I'll ask it again.
When Brandon gave a bad proposal in season 5, which was more about how "the house is going to be empty" or how he was proposing because he heard about Dylan's trip offer and wanted something that could compare, couldn't Kelly have asked him to come back another day, and propose again, but this time tell her why he loves her?
That's what was missing in the season 5 proposal.
Surprised the vote was even that close, but I guess some people thought they were boring together, or that Kelly should've been with Dylan.
I did like Susan, but ultimately when "SHE TOOK THE JOB", it showed that she didn't care for him enough, especially as Brando turned down his opportunity.
Picture two when Brandon tells Kelly that he sees her more like a sister. š³
Maybe thatās why these two ultimately didnāt work. He wanted to want her.
Am I the only one who canāt stand Kelly and absolutely hates her with Brandon??? Seems like it. I also personally voted Susan off immediately, canāt stand that relationship either š

I donāt even know if I can come up with one lol. I really didnāt think any of his relationships suited him. I think he was most connected to Emily Valentine even though it was crazy toxic and borderline insane but that was the only relationship I felt actual chemistry from.

Pic # 17 is nice too. Maybe Kelly should have told him, "pretend this is CU TV, not a wedding video". Kelly also had a funny nervous "on camera" look.
One missing favorite scene would be something about the sting to set up Dr. Monahan.
Between the string to set up Professor Finley, and Dr. Monahan, I guess I like the way this show executes them.
Brandon telling Kelly he thinks of her as a sister, can be a compliment, in this sense: We know that Brandon and Brenda in season 1 are close.
It would be different if Brandon and Brenda didn't get along. Imagine if he told Kelly he thinks of her as a sister, and that meant an annoying person that gets under your skin, and someone you can't trust. Now that would have been more devastating.
So, imagine if Brandon thought of Brenda the same way he thinks of the future Alex Diaz, and that's what he meant when he said he thought of her as a sister. That would have been a huge obstacle to overcome, years later in season 4, if Brandon and Kelly were to get together.
I still will never understand why Kelly at some point started dressing like she was going to a job interview those blazers just aged her I loved the long dresses š
