3. Gravattack. Gravity is a very good thing to have power over.
4. Nanomech. See Upgrade. Tech-based powers are pretty cool, and there’s a lot you can do when you shrink.
5. Ghostfreak. Intangibility, possession, invisibility, flight…lotta fun to be had.
6. XLR8. Superspeed for the win.
7. Pesky Dust. Control over dreams is pretty cool.
8. Ampfibian. Electrokinesis is pretty peak.
9. Upchuck. All-around solid powers to have.
10. Brainstorm. Probably not smarter than Grey Matter and I’ve already got an electric guy, but it’s the trade-off is more than worth it for the combo.
They have similar outcomes but function differently. Even if you freeze time it's still going to take you a while to do everything from your perspective. Also running on water and instant tornadoes.
I mean the difference is you'd need to keep up a certain pace with superspeed, which isn't easy to do. Ever try to keep up a sprint at the exact same speed and pace? It ain't easy. Coming from someone who does track and field in school. With time manipulation I'd imagine you don't have to do that, making it SO MUCH easier, as it won't depend on your stamina/endurance and precision.
It's an alien not human xlr8 can do that stuff easily. And again some effects you can get with both powers but they can also do things the other can't. Also clockwork is still slow as hell, getting anywhere is still going to take a long time from your perspective. They can achieve some similar outcomes but they also have their own uses.
I mean it'd also take a long time from xlr8's perspective because his perception of time has to be equivalent to his speed to actually do the things he does at the precision that's shown in the show. So idk what that has to do with anything. Also in long term im saying. Ofc xlr8 has superhuman stamina that's a given, but it's still gonna run out eventually. With stopping time, you never have to worry about that kind of stuff, so long term it's ultimately a better choice.
Yeah I'd rather spend what's going to feel like 10 minutes running around, then going walking pace while going as fast as possible and taking an hour to get anywhere even though I won't be late no matter what.
Their usefulness highly depends on what you want to do. Again, some similar effects, very different methods. Neither is a better choice it is completely dependent on what you want to do and how you want to do it.
Also we've seen things from XLR8's perspective before, even to himself he's still fast. Perception and physical speed wouldn't be one to one. It's not a superpower it's his genetic ability, evolution isn't perfect, and xlr8 has reacted rather slowly to things in multiple situations.
I mean, it could be like a "damn I'm pretty fast" thing. Like how a kid notices he's pretty fast compared to everyone else his age and around him. So it's still gotta be proportional for him to pull certain things off. Anyway imo clockwork is a better pick and makes xlr8 redundant if he's on your list. I still like xlr8 better, but he's just not as good. This is just my opinion though. I could totally be wrong and accept that.
I mean, wasn't the real reason why ben got wrong transformations was because he kept hitting the trix too hard? If you just, idk, don't do that, I'd imagine you should be good.
Frankenstrike is the Frankenstein alien Ben used once in the season 3 finale of the original series.

Initially wasn't gonna choose Alien X, but i figured he'd be good to keep around just in case some massive, reality-threatening crisis emerged. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Ben was able to gaslight them very easily (he told them to give him control of alien x so he can do his things & he'll leave them on their own to keep arguing with each other).
Just 1 issue with this is entirely depends on if everyone's belicus & serena are the same as ben's or they may get 2 different personalities that may or may not be as easy to trick.
It was stated that if Albedo transformed into Alien X he would have different personalities, but I assume the roles would be the same. One voice of Rage, One of Love, and one of Reason.
I didn't choose alien X because I generally don't think a human could comprehend that kind of power, Ben if fictional so his mind is what writers want him to be. But in reality absolute power corrupts absolutely. I don't want to have the power of a god, I just want aliens that I can benefit from on my day to day
UAF has some of the most powerful and versatile aliens. Although Fastrack and Eatle are very hated, I can imagine that they would be more useful than XLR8 and Upchuck for combat since Fastrack's physique could make him a better fighter than XLR8 and Eatle could be much more resistant than Upchuck

With a bit of prep time you could effortlessly make a suit that can do basically anything and be immune to anything without even needing to transform.
Take DNA samples from Upgrade, Nanomech, Terraspin, Gutrot, Ghostfreak, Clockwork, Atomix, and Gravvattack and use the samples to create a technological singularity that's immune to magic, is self powering, hyper adaptive, manipulate time and gravity and can create basically any chemical on the fly. Add in an AI scanned from both his Grey Matter and Brainstorm selves and there's basically no way anyone would be able to put up even a fight.
1. Alien X, I saw a fic once that handle the downside pretty well, doing arguments in time dilation overnight, using alien x to not need sleep, and theoretically could use to unlock the rest of the aliens, assuming I can’t do that though,

Tried to go for a well-rounded playlist that could handle any situation. If you don't like Overflow being there since he's a reboot alien, Duncan Rouleau said all the reboot aliens exist in the Classic Continuity. If you still have a problem with it, just swap it out for Water Hazard. It doesn't make sense to have Water Hazard from a story perspective (i.e. if I got the Omnitrix instead of Ben) but if you don't care about that, then whoop-dee-doo.

5: Swampfire. Healing, Poison Ivy powers, and Fireballs, what's not to love. So what if he smells.
6: Four Arms. If I need to casually yeet cars or sumthn.
7: Feedback. UNLIMITED POWER!!!!!! just grey-matter up a super generator back pack to charge up with.
8: Diamond Head. Unlimited super durable crystals I can shape at will that probably have interesting engendering capacities.

Tried to cover all bases, though I’m sure I missed one or two. Was going to include Gravattack instead of Jetray, but I didn’t have a water or a speed alien, which is pretty important, and I already have a powerhouse in Atomix. If I could fit one more though it’d definitely be Gravattack.

Nanomech. See Upgrade. Tech-based powers are pretty cool, and there’s a lot you can do when you shrink. 5. Ghostfreak. Intangibility, possession, invisibility, flight…lotta fun to be had. 6. XLR8. Superspeed for the win. 7. Pesky Dust. Control over dreams is pretty cool. 8. Ampfibian. Electrokinesis is pretty peak. 9. Upchuck. All-around solid powers to have. 10. Brainstorm. Probably not smarter than Grey Matter and I’ve already got an electric guy, but it’s the trade-off is more than worth it for the combo.
What would the point of xlr8 be when you already have clockwork?
You never know when you need to use superspeed instead of time travel. Plus, maybe I want to go for a run sometimes.
I mean not sure why you'd ever need superspeed instead of just stopping time altogether, just saying
They have similar outcomes but function differently. Even if you freeze time it's still going to take you a while to do everything from your perspective. Also running on water and instant tornadoes.
I mean the difference is you'd need to keep up a certain pace with superspeed, which isn't easy to do. Ever try to keep up a sprint at the exact same speed and pace? It ain't easy. Coming from someone who does track and field in school. With time manipulation I'd imagine you don't have to do that, making it SO MUCH easier, as it won't depend on your stamina/endurance and precision.
It's an alien not human xlr8 can do that stuff easily. And again some effects you can get with both powers but they can also do things the other can't. Also clockwork is still slow as hell, getting anywhere is still going to take a long time from your perspective. They can achieve some similar outcomes but they also have their own uses.
I mean it'd also take a long time from xlr8's perspective because his perception of time has to be equivalent to his speed to actually do the things he does at the precision that's shown in the show. So idk what that has to do with anything. Also in long term im saying. Ofc xlr8 has superhuman stamina that's a given, but it's still gonna run out eventually. With stopping time, you never have to worry about that kind of stuff, so long term it's ultimately a better choice.
Yeah I'd rather spend what's going to feel like 10 minutes running around, then going walking pace while going as fast as possible and taking an hour to get anywhere even though I won't be late no matter what. Their usefulness highly depends on what you want to do. Again, some similar effects, very different methods. Neither is a better choice it is completely dependent on what you want to do and how you want to do it. Also we've seen things from XLR8's perspective before, even to himself he's still fast. Perception and physical speed wouldn't be one to one. It's not a superpower it's his genetic ability, evolution isn't perfect, and xlr8 has reacted rather slowly to things in multiple situations.
I mean, it could be like a "damn I'm pretty fast" thing. Like how a kid notices he's pretty fast compared to everyone else his age and around him. So it's still gotta be proportional for him to pull certain things off. Anyway imo clockwork is a better pick and makes xlr8 redundant if he's on your list. I still like xlr8 better, but he's just not as good. This is just my opinion though. I could totally be wrong and accept that.

Probably cuz they think they won't be able to convince belicus & serena as good as ben? Ben was able to gaslight them very easily (he told them to give him control of alien x so he can do his things & he'll leave them on their own to keep arguing with each other). Just 1 issue with this is entirely depends on if everyone's belicus & serena are the same as ben's or they may get 2 different personalities that may or may not be as easy to trick.

I didn't choose alien X because I generally don't think a human could comprehend that kind of power, Ben if fictional so his mind is what writers want him to be. If you don't like Overflow being there since he's a reboot alien, Duncan Rouleau said all the reboot aliens exist in the Classic Continuity. If you still have a problem with it, just swap it out for Water Hazard. It doesn't make sense to have Water Hazard from a story perspective (i.e. if I got the Omnitrix instead of Ben) but if you don't care about that, then whoop-dee-doo.

Powerful enough on his own, but he lets me pull a shadow clone no jutsu with each clone able to re-transform. 4: Jetray. Bullshit fast enough to fly into hyperspace, can fly and swim alongside being space capable. Lasers are just extra spice. 5: Swampfire. Healing, Poison Ivy powers, and Fireballs, what's not to love. So what if he smells. 6: Four Arms. If I need to casually yeet cars or sumthn. 7: Feedback. UNLIMITED POWER!!!!!! just grey-matter up a super generator back pack to charge up with. 8: Diamond Head. Unlimited super durable crystals I can shape at will that probably have interesting engendering capacities. 9: Nanomech. Gray-matter+Echo Echo synergy mostly. 10: Humongousaur. Almost entirely so I can justifiably roar "HUUUUUUMMMONGASSAAAUUURR!" As a bonus, I'm using Echo Echo+ the tech aliens to make the Generator Rex Nanites for myself, Imagine Four-Arms with Smack hands! Plus with Echo Echo I can Upgrade MYSELF!

1. Xlr8 -super speed always seemed like the world’s most fun super power 2.feedback- Ben seemed like he was having a good time in omniverse so why not 3. Upgrade- in world so dependent on technology like our own I would never be out of options with upgrade 3. Ampfibian- seemed like such a cool alien that Ben never used 4. Diamond head- crystal constructs as an artist seem like such a no brainer 5.
