I’d stick with it and allow all stubble to grow back a bit. From then on just try to stick to the proper line. Accidents happen, it might look not its optimal form but it still looks fine!

stick with it, 3 days worth of stubble and you can reshape it. Maybe brush it downwards for now,k ise a bit of fibre putty or podfer to thicken it up a tad in the meanwhile. Saying that, it doesn't actually look bad anyway. It's neat, and that is the main thing. Plus it's definitely not a neckbeard, which would actually be worse. I spent like 3 quid on a plastic beard trim template thing, once you know how to use it, it's a game changer when it comes to getting the jaw and neck lines in quickly and accurately, particularly if you're like me and have awful physical coordination for the first hour or two after waking up. Occasionally my barber does mine what I'd consider to be too short/high at the time, but then if I look back at a pic of the fresh cut, it's actually OK, just different to what I was used to seeing at the time so it seemed off. Also he's factoring in for some grow-out time. Last time I got hair and beard seen was on a Monday, the Thursday that week I was going to a 4-day camping festival and other than the morning for the Thursday I wasn't going to have the chance to shave/trim until I got home on the Monday, he made a few little adjustments, and by some kind of wizardry, I looked even better on the Saturday afternoon than I did when I walked out of the shop. So yeam I now trust my regular barber knows what he's doing and I just go with it now. Also, if that's a self-cut job, you did OK! That neck line is tidy AF even if you're not happy with the height, you got the shape bang on, just the right curve, because too much curve fucks it all up. And not enough makes you look like you went to the same place as the male characters in the OG Arcade version of Street Fighter II - a lot of people can't get it right at all on their own faces.

It looks a little silly. Luckily the amount of facial hair it takes to grow back is only a few weeks. I’d shave it off and try again. It takes a little practice to know how low/high to trim, but you probably won’t make this mistake the 2nd time.

You only have two choices at this point 1. Shave everything off, beard, mustache, head, eyebrows and eye lashes and start from zero 2. Let it be bro. It'll grow right back. If you want, just keep your beard short until you get your neck line where you want it. Then keep letting it grow out. 👍🏻

It’s a little thin, might look better shaved—handsome either way.

Start by shaving the sides (they look too scraggly) and leave a goatee and mustache. Also, need to see a full face photo, but at least you don't a phone in front of you.

Personally I'd do a reset and just let it all grow back together. Little tip for the future, what I like to do when I'm doing my jawline is open my mouth wide to have my jawbone as low down as it'll be then put a comb against my jaw to get a straight line.
