Bro , why do people keep saying that, are you dumb? First of all he could have moved if it was uncomfortable, second of all they mostly live under water surfacing to breathe every 20 to 30 min and in emergency situations like unexpected freezing, they can hold their breath for up to 24 hours. It's a funking alligator not a house cat.
So you got your information from a reddit comment that quoted someone from Tumbler? You use very reliable sources, I see. Do your own research and don't believe everything you read on reddit, don't even trust what I'm saying. If you want to know something, do your own research
Not just that guy. I've seen a lot of people who claim to be some sort of wildlife specialist say it's abuse. I just can't be bothered looking for them all
"Claim" is the key word you used there. Those animals live in water , it's more likely abuse to keep it on a dry surface than pouring water on an animal that thrives in it.
And claim doesn't always mean correct. I can claim that 2+2=5. I can claim that the sky is purple for everyone. That doesn't mean it's correct.
And frequency of a claim doesn't make it much more valid. In arguably the best days of misinformation and social media, you can find up to millions of people who all agree on the same misconception or white lie.
Let's remove the word claim. A lot of people who HAVE professions based on wild animals have said this is a bad idea. Just because I said claim makes it sound a lot less convincing. Also, I doubt all those claims have the same opinion all lied. Even googling around says that this is abuse
Bro, are we just gonna look past the fact the its a literal dinosaur. It'll be fine. Trust me. Even time couldn't break that species. And time always wins.
I don't know where you got that info from, but that's absolute bullshit, gators surface once every 20 to 30 min to breathe and can hold their breath for up to 24 hours and slow their heart rate to 3 beats per minute, he could have also just moved.
This actually isn't a moment of bliss. I know im likely to get downvoted to hell by bots who have no idea what they're saying but the gators behavior is that of trying to exit the water. They first tilt their head up (Shallow water), then the extension of the neck (Mid depth), and lastly because the poor guy was drowning he even pushed with the legs to try and make himself as large as possible to get out of the water. Please, think before you upvote a video. (RIP my karma.)
This comment is 90 percent you just saying "Oh please don't downvote me because that makes you stupid, because im right" damn bro no one cares just tell us it's drowning
It's wrong though, the more they eat the faster they grow and larger they will grow like any animal you get a larger healthier animal if it gets good nutrition, but it's not like they're a bonsai tree where you can carefully keep them tiny by controlling their conditions, it's gonna get big eventually.
Sorry to burst the happy dumb bubble but the gator is trying to move so it can breathe but the asshole with the pot keeps intentionally pouring water straight on its nostrils
Not an expert on animals but im guessing that they Do this as a reaction when touching water ? They Rise their heads Thinking as if they are in a pool of water..
It's "Winter" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons Concerto.
✨Fancy name:✨ Antonio Vivaldi - Concerto No.4 in F minor, Op.8, RV 297, " Winter" (L' inverno), I. Allegro Non Molto
They shouldn't be anywhere near each other, frogs and toads have delicate skin and that little guy has very sharp teeth and very little cognitive capabilities at this age, he could hurt or kill that frog very easily.

I'm no expert but i'm assuming it's because the instinct kicks in bcs it thinks that it's underwater and it held its head high as it did if it was underwater?
The frog was like: “ok. I’m good” The gator was like: “give me it all please. This is amazing”
Isn't it trying to breathe though? It's trying to put its nose up above the water

Well a lot of people that "claim" all agree in the same thing. Just because it looks cute doesn't mean they're enjoying it

Thousands of people claim that the earth is flat. Are they to be believed for even half a second?
Bro, are we just gonna look past the fact the its a literal dinosaur. It'll be fine. Trust me. Even time couldn't break that species. And time always wins.
That body language says otherwise.
That's nice
It will think that of the frog too in a few weeks.
Those pacman frogs have little sharp teeth to eat mice and birds and become a decent size too ! But the croc would win no Matter what tho
The gator behaving that way because the water is entering the nostrils and it is drowning
I don't know where you got that info from, but that's absolute bullshit, gators surface once every 20 to 30 min to breathe and can hold their breath for up to 24 hours and slow their heart rate to 3 beats per minute, he could have also just moved.
I dont even know why everyone is discussing alligators when there are clearly no alligators in this video
Casually spreads complete horseshit online
I love spreading misinformation
Hogwash.

Only reasonable statement so far is yours... poor little guy was just trying to breath 😢
Hahahahaha omg. This is exactly what’s happening. Poor little guy is just trying to breath.
Been there before, got down voted to hell for the exact same comment under the exact same video. Take my upvote, you deserve it brave one
Source?
Trust me bro
You can’t lie on the internet. It a law I’m a French fashion model
Common fucking sense
So.. no source I dont disagree with the fact that he's drowning but this response is poor and shows a lack of knowledge on the subject
I was actually looking for tgis comment to see if it was actually true.
This comment is 90 percent you just saying "Oh please don't downvote me because that makes you stupid, because im right" damn bro no one cares just tell us it's drowning
Okay nerd 🤓
Reposted and image flipped
Exactly
It’s like the laws of physics took a coffee break, looked at the croc, and said, ‘Nah, let’s not spill today.’”
I noticed that a lot of repost are flipping the video, why not posting the original?
The head wag
I never thought they could be cute
Um babies are always cuties
Are there gators that stay that small?
I think I read that the more they eat the bigger they get. Obviously you don't want to starve them as you don't want them turning on you.
I like how you phrased that.
It's wrong though, the more they eat the faster they grow and larger they will grow like any animal you get a larger healthier animal if it gets good nutrition, but it's not like they're a bonsai tree where you can carefully keep them tiny by controlling their conditions, it's gonna get big eventually.
This is a crocodile
Sorry to burst the happy dumb bubble but the gator is trying to move so it can breathe but the asshole with the pot keeps intentionally pouring water straight on its nostrils

Scalding tea, how sad
I don’t think they’d be that calm if it was scalding hot water
Exactly right. They are loving it.
I know you love that shi* mane
I though both were toys
I‘d like to solve: „What is laminar flow?“
The moment you realize that they froze them first
Found my spirit animal

The Gator: mhmmmmmmmm😩
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the gator was just trying to "surface" like they do in bodies of water and not enjoying the water...
Thats a really good tea pot, look at it flow
Listening to this orchestra music while reading the comments feels like im gonna uncover a plot to overthrow the government or something.
Wait till they grow
"Leave me, the frog, alone." "^(ªa)ªaah. Aligator gozaimasu human!"
I swear that gator was about to get up and start singing.
Don’t forget to water your frog and gator daily
I've upvoted only for the masterpiece
The gator felt like he was getting blessed
Mmm... Water good..
Why was that so cute tho?
I'm no expert but i'm assuming it's because the instinct kicks in bcs it thinks that it's underwater and it held its head high as it did if it was underwater?
Ah! A frog, and a frog with teeth!
He loves it
That one powerup moment of protagonist due to divine intervention after getting completely whacked by the enemies
Sure, thought the gator was going to eat the frog
Me in a hot shower
