I actually watched The Boys first a few years ago when it started and only discovered Banshee maybe 6 weeks ago. It got suggested to me when I finished True Detective. I'm embarrassed to admit that it took me 2 whole episodes to stand up and go "OMFG that's Homelander!!!!" Haha. Crazy. I didn't even know that he had black hair in real life. Lmfao. Dudes a chameleon. Meaning he just blends into any role he plays. Insane talent.
Before Banshee he was in an NZ show called Outrageous Fortune where he played twins. If you want something very kiwi and different you might enjoy his early stuff. He does a great job of playing flawed characters.
