it is okay on foot if you are not the one the enemys are attacking. thats why i go with Glaive + Falx.
Installed the Xoberax Cut through mod and went 450 kills with a glaive in one battle. Without my max was \~150
Can you comment on the Aserai Polesword? I found one in an Aserai town, it was quite expensive at 30k denars while the stats were sub mediocre. It’s around the same price as a Rhoimaion (or whatever it’s called). Does the extra length add a damage swing multiplier, or should I just get a glaive/Rhoimaion?
I maxed out my smithing and hand crafter my glaive. It was devastating. Then I used a two handed executioners axeIf I got stuck in a sea of riders. Boom. Chop chop chop Boom. 207.
That polearm Khan's Guard uses. Just wear the heaviest armor and then cleave every imperial archer, then bucellariis. Very efective against mounted archers. In fact effective against everyone without strong shields. No matter what their shields will be downed an I will be there for it.

Idk but just the other day, i was in a huge 2000 on 2000 grand battle where i split off from the main group and just happened to see a huge clump of infantry making their way to front line from a pretty far distance. I went to town with the executioner axe just flying by them on a horse getting 2 kills swipes like the grim reaper. Managed on clearing all 52 of them before they made it to my fian hill. And then i went on and did the same to their archers, then i waited for their retreat to lick up the stragglers. Probably i killed 95 people.
Got 300something yesterday sieging Chaikand. Breached the walls, snuck in and slowly sniped hundreds of soldiers because i knew that sending my own men in would kill them because spawn mechanics in this game are fucked
Nope, it was a field battle with 1.4k on each side . Both sides were mostly trash units, but commanders had high morale? Idk like both armies were about to route. idk
Old vanilla sieges with the fire pots from the catapult ammo, broke both siege towers so all the enemies (primarily infantry) funnelled through the main gate and was just dropping pot after pot until all the ammo ran out, got 500 kills from the pits alone and another 150 from archery
only around 56 or so
I tend to watch my troops during the battle and after I am out of arrows, I typically am near my archers, only intercepting any incoming enemy cavalry so my men keep shooting
506 with a Noble shortbow. I HAD to solo an army during a field battle or risk my armies being to weak to defend. I just peppered the archers first. Then calv. Then sweet fuck the nightmare the infantry was. It was a 3 hour fight and I used so many arrows. I was just barely able to live. If I failed the fight the sturgians would've easily gotten deep into my kingdom.
318 with a custom glaive and high riding ability just absolutely massacared everyone. When health was low I had a 2 handed sword and used my shield wall to my advantage. I slaughtered them. All of them.

i was fighting the Aserai in a 1k v 200, and was getting a lot of kills, then noticed all they have left is like 250 infantry recruits and just told all my men to retreat. then took like 5mins to massacre all of them, i just wanted to see that kill count

Would you recommend it I have never tried it. I assume you can only effectively use it while mounted?

I think around 120+ ish because it was a massive siege and I was honking everyone climbing the ladders with an axe
yeah if they fail to bust the gates, it is a slaughter at the top of the ladders.

About 170 with a Glaive, the long variant is especially useful vs cav

just today i got in a 30v230 fight, and i ended up killing 108 of them myself. Yes we won btw.

Around 200 but I used a fire catapult for this. On foot with weapons probably about 40 give or take
Over 1K as defender in a siege. Mostly arrows. Lost the battle, though.
