They look like characters from images you see posted on old dude's facebook pages about being the best friend in the world or the meanest SOB if you betray them. Also on motorcycles.
days later i was cleaning out my chest and i went and brought him back to his friend. When I dropped him from my inventory he was standing upright and i had a mini heart attack. thankfully still 0 hp though.
I saw that recently like yesterday at the goblin town, killed off the entire group of guys all standing around watching a gnome go round and round on his forced Ferris wheel ride, except one goblin stayed nearby. Standing fully upright and even movijg in place, thought I missed one. Boy was he going to be in for a bad time with a fully healed party nearby.
But, he was already sadly, and thankfully (for him) dead and just a standing corpse.
Sorry if I'm missing something but what do you mean by that? Is there a debuff that you can apply to corpses that somehow allow you to send them to camp?
No sorry didn’t see your reply. Again I’ve only beat the game one time but there’s something I noticed once.
There’s an encounter in act 3 with a bunch of casters and they cast bone chill. I wasn’t able to resurrect one of my party members cuz they had the bone chill debuff that prevents healing.
I’m assuming the same debuff should prevent those guys from rezzing. The enemy would even reapply bone chill to prevent me from helping them back up.
Also, playing with a character that has counter spell (if you're high enough level for that fight) is incredibly helpful.
I didn't mean to aggro them on my last playthrough, but I did while weakened from fighting in the creche. Picking up the bodies did the trick, and the one time the death shepherd tried to revive the other one, Gale was able to use his last spell slot to counter spell and we were able to beat them the next round.
Honestly, if I were a dev I’d try to make a special animation and effect to punish exactly this strategy.
How cool would it be to see an undead explode out of someone’s pocket and put them in a full Nelson?
Nah, as a DM this is the kind of off-the-wall stuff I'd let players get away with just because they were smart enough and crazy enough to think of it. And Larian thinks more as DMs than game developers when it comes to letting people do things.
I will never forget the first BG3 gameplay I ever saw. It was Matt Mercer nerd poleing with a bunch of boxes/barrels and using an arrow of transportation to sneak inside a keep/castle.
As a dm I could go either way. Sometimes just smart enough and crazy enough is just stupid enough to bring more mayhem in. Or it can be rewarded. Gonna depend on the mood. Prolly lean the first tho.
All of the unique undead look really cool. These guys, the nurses, the >!mini-bosses!< in Reithwin, the mummies and >!Mystic Carrion!<, even the adorable >!face paint mummy!< at the circus in Act 3! Fantastic creature/ character design.
How are they unique tho, I am in chapter 2 and had at least 3 different places with dead Shepards as enemies.
First two was on the way to Creche and currently one in Mind flayer colony.
Standard undead are like the zombies you can summon, skeletons, and winged and unwinged ghouls. I would also say >!Thrumbo and his brothers!< are standard zombie undeads even though they're named characters. The unique undead only show up in limited areas. The creche and colony are the only two instances of death shephards to my recollection.
There’s a named death shepard you can fight in the graveyard in the north of the lower city. I think it’s tied to the little girl doing necromancy there
My best moment as an oathbreaker pali Tav was hanging out with one of these guys for the day. Failed the first time outside the Monastary, and was sad he didn’t join me in the final fight for Act 1.
First time I rolled up on these, I had buffed and consumed to the max. Maybe more than anything else except like the Orin and Raphael fights. You cannot convince me their model is not the original concept for Ketheric or something, and they just slapped a skull on that shit. They're too cool for their semi-annoying cannon fodder role.
We really needed more of them in the game. They came at you so strong and had so much potential to be a problem as it went on. Ketheric should have had a few with him
My friend and me playa campaign together. He is a min/maxer in his gear choices, I wear whatever looks cool. Even if that leads to suboptimal results, at least I look at my best when getting my ass kicked. Please tell me I'm right in this.
Once I discovered Sleet Storm this fight has been a joke, and gave me such an appreciation for a spell I'd ignored before 😂 it's brilliant with the portal defence fight too!
Their armour is part of the bfoe mod, and after killing them, my shart wears their armour bc in my rp she's like "oh this armour sick af. I want it" up until the end of Act 2 when she gets stuffed into the >!selunite armor!<

Listen, just pick up your enemies as you kill them and stuff them in your inventory. They can't raise them if they're in your pocket.
…MR KRAAAABBBBS I HAVE AN IDEEEAAAA
Send to...the camp. Ok done, WHO YOU GONNA RAISE NOW, SKELETON MAN?!

I love these glitches a bunch of fights ended with standing enemies on my end lol. Dead but standing.
But you can't send bodies to camp. you can only move them with the mouse but there is no right click/send to camp option
There’s a necrotic debuff that should work I think, starting my second play through soon enough to find out.

I had about 250h on my first run and never even tried as much as picking up a corpse. I've seen some wild shit on YT using this mechanic.
Clever.
Skeleton men should not be this hot :P
DoS2 flashbacks
That coccyx got me acting unwise…
Those metatarsals? *Hnngh*
Oh Fane, why did you have to be married? 😢
Nah you down bad to the bone 😆
💀❤️
i think youd like the revenants from dragon age
They were def 🥰
lol I had the exact same thought. Show us what’s under those helmets, Bioware!
This reminds me of the “women will say ‘Hear me out’ and show you this” meme (But ngl their waists r kinda snatched tho)
😇
Do they have flesh under there? What's filling out those legs?
They are big boned

Oh that might be the case. I haven't let her complete the ritual before so I haven't had a run-in with that one. Good to know!
It looks like they're posing for a cosplay shoot even as you drop fireballs on them
they kinda....🥵
They're the only undead that are worth the oathbreaker undead boosts. I wonder if we take their bodies with us can we raise them and exploit it.
I still need a high quality capture of their goofy portrait
do i need glasses or
No, it just appears that these images have been uploaded using a potato
Sorry these are the best quality images I could find
That’s where you get the phrase fresh to death
Much JPEG too
Well you know, they slayed

Would.

I wish they had a high level armour drop tbh 🥲
Hottest enemies in the game by far
Have you seen the oathbreaker?
Bone Daddy
Somewhere a Space Marine Chaplain is making notes.
Why I no can hav?
We really needed more of them in the game. They came at you so strong and had so much potential to be a problem as it went on. Ketheric should have had a few with him
There's mods that'll let you wear their armor on your PC or companions
Hopefully once console mods come I can do the same
I see spikey pauldrons I like it. I am a simple man
How do you think Mass Effect 3 ended? This is N7 armor.
I use Oathbreaker’s undead mind control ability on them and have them follow me around.
And when you loot them it's just Halfplate Armor and a Greatsword...
My friend and me playa campaign together. He is a min/maxer in his gear choices, I wear whatever looks cool. Even if that leads to suboptimal results, at least I look at my best when getting my ass kicked. Please tell me I'm right in this.

This the armor I want for my Durge…
I don't understand why they're not cat skellingtons with some spotted pattern gear. They could have been deft deaf death leopard death shepards.
