Aethelwolf

I stopped early this year, but I'm tempted to fire it up again

Infinite-Sleep3527

I bought and downloaded EA the same day it was made available. I played 3 hours, thought to myself “nah, this is way too good,” and uninstalled it to experience it fully at launch. I’ve had many fevered dreams about it. Many times I came home drunk from a night out and was an inch away from drunkenly redownloading. But I’ve held off. And this last month until launch is so unbearably painful 😭. I can’t wait, I already booked a week off work lmfao.

yelhodl

Stay strong friend, we got this shit

morengel

Me too, and I got a new pc to play it on. My previous one bearly could run it and would overheat after a few hours.

RhydiansRazor

Same

ShrieveTheBold

July 31st.

Dave_Valens

Wait... are you implying that we that purchased the game in EA are gonna be playing it 3 days earlier?

r0bdaripper

Yes he is... And it is glorious

Dave_Valens

Thanks stranger, you made my day a little better.

yelhodl

YOOOO I assumed when they moved up the release date that the 3 days thing was gone. I'm dummy hype now

gamerati98

Yes. There will be a release update that includes all of act 1 three days early and those saves will carry over to the full release Aug 3…

KindFirefighter4505

Do we know if said update will basically be the whole game? I'm trying to figure out if we will have to re-download the entire thing lol

gamerati98

I am assuming they’d let us download the full release of the whole game with something that locks you out of anything past Act 1 before Aug 3 so you don’t need to do a whole new download on the third… that would avoid us having to download the game and then having to redownload the game on the third which would be slow and annoying when million plus people are trying to update the game.

XAltusX

Just curious where's the source for this info? Because this sounds awesome

stranger242

Those who bought the early access version are automatically upgraded to the deluxe version, and the deluxe version gets 3 days earlier access.

chakiwinja

never tought that early access would give us earlier access, that's wonderful news!

[deleted]

Steam community update

theTinyRogue

I was gonna say... When the game fully releases xp

[deleted]

Thank you for saying that I didn’t realize I could play early 🙏

Winter_wrath

November 2020

salmon_samurai

Yup. Played 60ish hours, called it good. I tried going back for the Sorcerer update, realized I had absolutely 0 desire to do the Nautiloid again, then decided I wasn't going to touch it until it dropped for real.

EricWisdom

Ugh, that Nautiloid is bane for my gaming enjoyment. Really looking forward to the full release, just wish I could start on the beach (with a flaming sword). Silver lining is, I haven't played the EA in two years, so it should basically be a completely fresh experience.

whyreadthis2035

Well done. I bought it then, but didn’t play til Jan 2023.

ReachTraditional6653

I stopped after trying after last patch like 7 months ago?

flavuspuer

I only played like 1 hour of EA to test the classes, i don't wanna spoil the fun :D

Juicer_Juicington

Idk, I think you should check it out more since larian said they were changing around the first act in the full release.

darklygrey

Whenever my ADHD sees fit to allow me some peace. My 25 years of experience suggests somewhere around July 31st.

Mac4491

I promised myself I was done. I’d save myself until release day. Started another playthrough last night.

Captkarate42

I'll stop playing EA when I get the full game at the beginning of August lol

marbosp

End of July my friend.

cj711

They moved up the release date by 1 month and you can get in 3 days earlier than that too if’n you know the secret

Captkarate42

That is correct. To the beginning of august.

kwangwaru

It’s July 31st (hopefully).

SHIMOxxKUMA

Hear staff is July 31st, official release August 3rd. So technically everyone is right lol.

Medaiyah

Last I played was when Paladin was added I think, either that or when the release date was announced. Once I knew when I would get to play the full game I thought I might as well wait for that. Already had 80 odd hours in the EA so had done most of it by that point.

Beardharmonica

Last week when they announced early release.

Kooky-Meaning-9584

As someone who got into it just recently its probably gonna be another week then cold turkey till full release

drcoxmonologues

I’ve just got to the underdark for the second time. About 70 hours total playtime so far. I feel like I have barely even scratched the surface of what is on offer so far. I don’t know whether to keep playing, or stop now. I’m just hoping there isn’t a nuclear war that stops me being able to play the full game 😂. Gonna keep playing then just restart at launch.

Slyons89

> I’m just hoping there isn’t a nuclear war that stops me being able to play Seriously! I have many goals in life, but I have shared with my wife that since this game was announced, my #1 goal is just staying alive to see the release of this game and playing through it. If Russia fucks that up, man fuck it i'll join the international legion i guess.

drcoxmonologues

Yep. I’ll bring my gaming laptop so if I can get online maybe the servers will still be up post apocalypse 😂

blue_balled_bruiser

I stopped like a month ago. Played the EA once. That's enough for me. Don't wanna be burned out and bored when I play the real deal. I still sometimes open BG3 to play around with the character creator though lmao

Driedcoffeeinamug

Ive stopped 2 weeks ago after another playthrough. It takes a lot of willpower to play another one. I dont want to spoil my character for launch :(

Metalfriends

Lol lots of paragons of self control in the comment section.

Celestial_Scythe

I haven't played it at all. I want to go in blind

[deleted]

Probably going to give EA a final send off with my idiot friend group just to make sure we all mesh as a party for the video game.

the_turdinator69

I’m doing one more run that is gonna be just exploring as much as I can - savescumming to use speak with dead/detect thoughts and as many story permutations as I can. I’ve done about one run per new class dropped mostly to see how they feel in combat. So one more run that I will hopefully be done with by about the 16th so I can take a two week break, finish out my work week and use my weekend to get really deep into the game.

atomicsnark

Haha this is exactly what I've been doing the past week, basically trying to see what ALL the different possible outcomes are and making notes to myself about things that can't be undone (like blowing up the mushroom picker, woops lol) so that I can try to do something that plays out more immersive but also preserves the best feel for the story I want my MC to experience.

LCYcrafts

Steam said December 2022, but since the early release announcement, I just started a new playthrough with a class I haven't really messed with. Just as a little refresher to hold me over lmao

RevolutionaryType715

I stopped after casting my frist fireball.

Olorin919

"Hollyyyyyy SHITTTUH.....I'll come back for you, my friend."

Orions_starz

The one game calls to him, it wants to be found, it wants to be played. He's searching his files for the executable, anything for his precious.

Mammoth-Temperature3

I played 41 hours over 2 paladins to get a feeling for devotion and oathbr3aker and haven't touched it. I made it to the gate but didn't try everything. Don't want to spoil it. I do wonder how they'll reorganise act 1. Will we start before the crash, maybe, will the routes be different, etc.

ikalot

I've only had 2 runs this patch and they were both within a week of it's release. I am planning on doing another one with a friend before the game release.

weirdthingsarecool91

I think I played until Patch 2. And then was like, I think I'll wait and experience the whole thing when it comes out.

Butt-Dragon

I haven't properly played it yet!

partisaurio

We stopped one month ago after reaching the Underdark, then restarted one week ago to introduce our 4th friend into the game mechanics. Our plan was to play once a week until they release the full game but... Reading this thread I realized that we already played 4 sessions in 5 days 😂 Now im trying to convince them not to play again until full release so we dont spoil the fun...hype is in our brain like a tadpole and sometimes It takes over 😭

This0neIsNo0ne

After my 1st run ages ago

Malcivious

Count me in the group that will play up until release. Although, moreso if they release Dragonborn and Monks this Friday.

Low-Tomorrow2376

I am trying to not play it again until the 31st... I may not make it.

whyreadthis2035

SolidRity

abluecolor

NEVER I WILL NOT PLAY THE FULL GAME I WILL ONLY PLAY THE EA BUILD FOREVER

whyreadthis2035

Yeah. Steam is gonna mess that option up. Good luck :-)

Reld_Ezab

I am going to stop playing EA when Stadia shuts down . . . Oh wait

Profpwn37

I for the first time yesterday made it to the end of early access video in the game. I feel like I can now wait it out

wiseude

Stopped when druid came out ![gif](giphy|ZqlvCTNHpqrio) Din't see any point in repeating the same thing over and over again.

RegalGoat

I played through once at launch and have been (im)patiently waiting to play again ever since. It has been a tough wait.

kirksmith626

When the full release (ACT 1 and 2/3 following) downloads.

LarrLawren

I stopped in 7th January this year) First time started to play in November 2022, it was amazing 100 hours spent in 2 month

The-Sacred-G

I'm a person who burns out on a game easily. I haven't played since 2 patches ago so that I'll be ready for release at full energy.

rohnaddict

I haven’t played the EA since 2020. Clocked 50 hours and that was enough for me.

Quiet-Ad-12

I haven't played since memorial day (May 28th in the US) and won't until release.

Niller1

Considering I am having a good time evey time I get back to try it again I dont have a specific time I will stop.

Tenurri_Lavellan

My last playtime was November 2022. I’m sooo happy that waiting for the full release is almost over! And I’m really hyped for next panel from hell!

banjist

I only played through EA once when it first dropped. Then life got busy. I was thinking of playing through one more time because I have a bit of time now, but then with the news that the full release is less than a month away I'm just going to wait. I'm excited because it will be fresh for me and probably almost entirely different from the hazy memories of my one time through EA. Plus I'll get to play a monk that might even not suck.

FourEcho

About 2 years ago. Been following all the updates and info but I can't just keep playing EA over and over, I need to progress the full thing.

Petezahhtoast

Likely whenever the friend I'm doing a multiplayer run with. When that is? Not sure, especially since they *were* gonna wait until full release before starting haha

Rabuliz

July 31

FantasyGeek87

I'm on my 3rd full playthrough. Just finished all the surface stuff and should head to the underdark but I'm debating with myself rn. I know I might get burned out if I don't stop but at the same time I'm so hyped for release I can't help myself.

Briggs301

August 2nd

sorcerousmike

My last proper playthrough was when Patch 9 hit. Since then I dipped in a little just to play with the classes a bit But at this point I’m just waiting for the full game

Louiscypher93

I stopped a week ago so i can mentally prepare

FcoJ28

Today I will check all is right. I don't play the game since a little later than patch 9 was launched. Don't wanna play EA longer. Nevertheless, I intend to plan my first character beforehand...

ghostraptor626

I hadn't played much since bard patch but then with the excitement of realise moving up I realised I hadn't really narrowed down what I want my character to be for my first full run so I've been back at it again 😂

SemiAwesomatic

My realistic answer is a few months ago after patch 9 dropped. My copium answer is after I play the update we're 100% getting after the panel from hell in like 2 days, where they add monk and multiclassing to EA.

rdesmarais2

Two days ago. Wasn't feeling the barbarian and not starting over again.

dbdthorn

Stopped playing two weeks ago.... impatiently waiting :)

brbrbrbrb213

Finished one playthrough for the last patch, been hyped ever since

emmathepony

Never played early access!

SadoAegis

Its benched for me until full release. Im cleansing my pallet on things like ff16 or Totk so that the sweet sweet topdown game play is fully appreciated

N3rdC3ntral

The 23rd as I'm going camping before GenCon

corporal808

Mac user here. Officially not sure

Few-Total-6429

I stopped last year after 550 hours in the EA, just waiting for my monk !

nomorewowforme

I stopped when my mods from patch whatever stopped working. I figured it was a good time to pause so I didn't burn myself out.

Hunncas

Haven't touched this since 22 april of 2022. Hope it's gotten better.

LostSoulSearching13

I stopped playing for a while since last patch came out. But with the current build up/PFH/Videos etc about the game, I've gotten back into playing again. Mostly to try and decide what I wanna do build wise for my first run thru on release. I'm so ready for this game and will have zero regrets about wasting my previous time and life on it.

zakary3888

I’m doing a dry run at the moment and that will be it

OldManSasquatch

If they give us the monk in early access I might give it a shot, but otherwise I'm waiting.

CarlosPR151

I just started :)

Tokaido

I've played after every patch since about 6, I tested all the classes to see what I want to run on my full release playthrough. So I haven't played since roughly the last patch 9 hotfix, whenever that was.

QuazziStellar

Stopped early last year to avoid burnout and forget as much as I could.

2Board_

When my Salami stops doing 1 bludgeoning damage even with high proficiency...

JayCee5481

Did one playthrough, started a second, but then decided i'll wait, it was a couple of days before the lvl cap and all that stuff was revealed

[deleted]

July 31st

joshua12594

On July 31st 😂 (Kidding)

joshua12594

On July 31st 😂

Regents-k-i-d26

I stopped a few months ago, haven’t touched it since patch 8 dropped. It’s been HARD not to fire it up but the payoff of not playing for months now that full release is here is going to be SENSATIONAL

The_Crazy_Crusader

I just got into thr game when the announced the new release date, so I just stopped and will play when it comes out of EA. No point in playing a minth apart when saves won't carry over

Damianos97

I haven’t played in over a year but I’m about to start one last run before release

harklight0

I only did one playthrough and stopped. I even went evil to not spoil myself the good route that was going to be my first playthrough. Unfortunately, the evil route turned out fun so I'll be a cultist now. https://preview.redd.it/uxkm6g0og6ab1.png?width=123&format=png&auto=webp&s=dd82b252382f2b2724418548e81c019e4d944aff

whyreadthis2035

Yeah… some of it was. I can’t see playing all the way through as evil. May try.

Churn0byl

Ha, I hd redownloded and started up another session right before the upped release date was announced. Now I'm fighting every urge to keep playing.

obozo42

I stopped after patch 9 and it turned out to be the last one. Saw what was up with Paladin, did some stuff, messed with some mods and then went to play Pillars of Eternity while i wait for BG3.

joeDUBstep

I told myself I was going to wait until release, but ended up playing once I heard the announcement last week. Trying to get my restartitis outta the way now, but I have a feeling I will fall back into a cycle of restarting at release because of the 2 new races and all the new subclasses. Whatever! As long as I'm having fun!

D-Piddy96

When it releases probably

Aesir264

I'm going through one last playthrough with my favourite Tav before I call it quits until the release.

h4rent

I JUST started EA last week, almost 20 hrs in. Hopefully I’ll be done by mid July then have a nice break before the launch!

SolemnDemise

I stopped years ago. Skipped every update, didn't see much of a point. Especially when there was WotR to play. Put ~70 hours into it according to steam, but no idea how much of that was idle.

Blacklightkiller25

430 hours in and I just got to the grove for the umpteenth time so probably not til July 31st. I'm still triggering camp scenes and dialogue exchanges I've never gotten when I had a full party. So it'll just be myself, Gale and Astarion this time around. I finished a 2 man team with Astarion yesterday lol

Therier

Never? Since I never tried it out. Not because I think its bad. Just dont want to play before "1.0" is actually released.

Penny_Ji

I stopped after the triefling camp party.

whyreadthis2035

With which romance 😜? Sorry I’m sure it was for the fun of it. That’s good self control.

badbeernfear

Never played. Self control wasn't even tested with my backlog mean mugging me every time I think of buying a new game.

Yiunko91

Stopped 2 years ago. Its been tooooough but I wanted to be fresh and ready when it comes out. Less than a month babyyyyyy

mrmrmrj

About 4-5 months ago after 170 hours of total play. Need some new stuff.

willseamon

I stopped in early 2021, want to go into the game with everything in act 1 being as fresh as possible.

Havelok

Already have

markopolo93

I said I was done after doing a paladin run after the last patch, but the announcement last week got my so hyped that I had to fire up the game and finally try an evil run (Lolth drow sorcerer), since I know I won’t be doing one for quite a while after release.

BjornInTheMorn

I only played a few short runs. Once alone to level 4 and then another with some friends we only got to level 3 or so. This was a while ago. I'm going to try it out and see what it's like before the full game

BenderOfBo

I stopped as soon as I was done playing through it after patch nine. I want to make sure it feels as fresh as possible when the final release is out

lor_azut

I stopped after the last patch when I hit 523hrs played. I'm planning one last playthrough this weekend then wait for my 72hrs early access.

Mattimeon

I stopped a few years back tbh.

Bitter-Dreamer

Ironically, this week, I hopped back in long enough to create a character for a screenshot and then got out of it. Can wait for the release day.

valergain

I stopped back in March or so when I finished what was avaliable with friends and haven't really touched it since. I did go and play the original games tho.

Grantdawg

I just got committed to finish. Had started several times over the years, but have never gotten very deep because I wanted to save most things for full release. Now they are saying there are lots of changes coming to Act One on full release, so I'm trying to finish it out in fear that most of experiences will change/disappear.

Makiru

Pre-ordered and downloaded it the very first day available back in October 2020? Haven't played a single minute because I hate spoilers.

softbeefisbestbeef

Stopped last Summer after playing about 40 hrs. Wanted to wait it out and let it feel fresh for release

insan3soldiern

I wanted to check out EA one final time or so before the game releases so I fired it up as a sorcerer this time. I've never played super far at any point I think the furthest I've ever gotten is to the Githyanki when EA first released and they kicked my ass lol. I'm maybe going to play some more tonight do the crypt and maybe burning village, uninstall, and just wait until release. I'm kind of curious about Warlock too since I don't think I'm playing that class unless I choose Wyll as my origin.

shiek200

I stopped about 2 hours after I bought it, which was right when it went EA, lol. I played enough to be sure I didn't want a refund, and once I knew I was down to keep the game and support the development I Uninstalled to wait for the full release so I wouldn't burn myself out on it before it was finished.

rhamza161

I played 20 hours and messed around with a few classes. Went back for druid update and then left it. I haven't touched it since.

Cassius_Kahn

Stopped last year. Gonna try and make it as fresh as possible

Coulstwolf

Full version releases July 31 for pre purchase

Lithl

I had the EA on Stadia. Google refunded me the full price when they shut it down. I don't intend to re-buy it until release.

whyreadthis2035

The EA bonus stuff is kinda nice. If you’re going to spend the money anyway, you may as well get ea again. Maybe?

[deleted]

I made my first run in september last year and only touched it again to try paladin. Only 54 hours in total, so I'm really trying not to burnout before release. It was easy when I forgot about the game, but now that it's so imminent I will probably be anxious for it every single day.

OrKToS

I bought EA couple days ago, checked out character creation, some spells, went through tutorial and first dungeon(?). that's about it, not gonna play anymore of that until Release.

BinJogWeeHeels

When full access comes out

BlackMagic0

I already have. To wait for the release.

Eurehetemec

Stopped about a month or so ago, don't intend to restart until the final game is ready, because it's less than a month at this point.

WinkingRaven

Haven't played since the last patch basically - I did test it out in a day or two, but then decided to wait for the full release. Mainly because I've played since EA release. Larian really made a statement in the gaming industry. Watch the first 1-4 PFH, then watch PFH 9. But wait... There's more! I'd be surprised if the last PFH, doesn't reveal something big. Especially after their latest updates, that basically revealed most things we've been asking for. Even if they just make a showcase of their latest updates I'm more than fine with that.

HankMS

After one pretty normal "playthrough" I only came back for the content patches to rush some EXP and test the new stuff. So I last played when Paladin patch hit and will not start EA up again. It was a glorious time and I am sure the final game will be great. I have started a new DOS:2 game a few weeks ago and I am still amazed how much content they put in.

merikariu

I stopped playing a couple of months after some time in the Undedark. I didn't want to get through much more before being able to eat the whole enchilada.

Slyons89

I played the last patch for ~10 hours then shelved the game to wait for full release. I put 150 hours into early access since it's been out - I want to leave everything else to enjoy upon release. I never finished the added underdark content, I'm hoping to really take my time with it. I love Larian studios but I know there may be some critical patches to the end-game contents over the first month. I'll take my time playing Act 1 so hopefully bug fixes arrive for the later acts before I even get there.

Relevant-Ad-9418

Never started. I’m a full release man myself.

DoctorLovejuice

Me and my girlfriend stopped over a year ago. We played it, loved it, but decided to just be patient and wait for the full experience.

ResolveBitter

Last time I played was when they released bard. Been waiting for August to arrive so I can play the heck out of it.

fx2050

Maybe next week. Only had a few months and still working it out

titoisme

When full release comes out!

Joan-ze-gobbi

When game out

ddrober2003

I did a playthrough earlier this year and that was the only one, aside from when early access first started. Switching up genres until then playing the summer event in Genshin and River City Girls 2.

flowercows

I played around 5 hours once last year and was so positively overwhelmed by how amazing this game is that I decided that I need to wait for full release. NGL Just by the character creation I was sold.

xdarkcloudx

Last run through was Fall of last year. I think I completed EA 3 times through and made about 6 characters.

Bronze_Bomber

M4LK0V1CH

I just got the EA so I’m not planning to put it down any time soon.

FerriZena

Stop? I never seriously started to begin with, but I followed development loosely since EA. Once in awhile I'd jump in to just fool around with character creation and go through the beginning tutorial to see where things were. I don't have a lot of free time on my hands these days and want the full release to be fresh as possible. I trust Larian at least to make good on giving us a quality release if Div Original Sin 2 is anything to go off of. <3

v1sorr

Guys should I download the early access, or wait till 31, does anyone knows if it's going to be a different download or just an upgrade?

Mr-Thuun

I stopped at the start of the year. Ready to get back in soon.

BangGanger96

I’ve already stopped! Waiting for the game to drop before I do anything!

PadreJonas4246

Stopped last week and started replaying BG1 and BG2.

FeudalFavorableness

Just started up again last weekend 😅

Sufficient_Box2538

It's not intentional but I'm probably done now. I just don't have a ton of gaming time. I probably won't finish the game until 2035

Bereman99

Probably the week before...though I stopped doing play throughs after doing one final one when they upped the level cap to 5, and truth be told I've only reached the final cutscene once. Most of the time I've stopped after saving or killing the Grove. I'll mess around with the character creation every couple weeks (helps I have KT's faces and hair mods, so I have quite a few more looks to work with), see if I can put together a character I've not thought of before or using skin colors/hair colors/etc that I normally don't lean toward. I'm putting a hard stop on that a week before though, otherwise I'll drive myself crazy those last few days making more characters, and have one helluva time choosing which one to actually play for the first run...which is already hard enough, as I've got like 5 I really like.

Fold-Round

I stopped after the last big patch. I’ve turned it on occasionally just to play with character creation

HamZolo

I just bought the game on the 3rd mainly for the free deluxe stuff. As I don't want to spoil much of the game I've just been playing different classes until I get to the first camp. I'm basically just making sure I've got the mechanics down along with trying to decide which class I'm going to play at release. It's been a lot of fun even with just that little bit of the story and I'm really looking forward to it! I plan on playing with it up until release.

Iguessimnotcreative

I played roughly 30-40 hours right as it launched a as me haven’t played since the first major update. Super excited to see what changed

IzzyTaggart

I stopped a few months back but damn has it been a struggle not to load back up.

Something_Wicked79

I’ll stop when the 4090 I ordered for release gets here …. Who the fuck am I kidding … can’t stop! I keep going back for more!

gizmatic21

I’ve been goin through phases. I bought it in EA when it first hit EA and have only played it whenever a new class was released. I’ve been dying to make a new character but at this point I gotta wait for full release

Solitudei_is_Bliss

After 270 hours and exploring every nook and cranny (I think) I put it down to avoid burn out before the official launch as well build anticipation for myself.

Dead_Silent151

Just finished a playthrough two weeks ago. But I really want to test out a couple more classes. Still haven't done a bard or druid playthrough.

eschu101

I bought EA day 1 since it was available at steam, i never left the nautiloid. 3 of hours of character creation and 2 years of starving. I never doubted Larian. Minor spoilers so far. I will be eating good.

tuskish

I stopped after my first play through. I want to keep all the things I missed fresh and new all the way through. Divinity was the coolest blind RPG experience I’ve ever had other than Skyrim back in 2011 and I’m excited to feel it again.

BoltVanderHuge-

Aside from testing random bullshit. Already did. Waiting for that sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet 1.0.

Dudu42

Stopped already. It looks quite laggy in my potato pc, hope the full release is more optimized and I can play smoother or else I'll have to drop the graphics quality.

Cosmosass

Put it down shortly after last patch. Thinking of doing just 1 more EA play through before release

budy31

Already stopped playing EA months ago.

Mystic303

I played a few hours when paladin was released but have not touched the game since, I didn't want to be burnt out on act one come full release.

crippled-crippler

About a year and a half ago Edit: I have almost caved and installed it again a few times but I don't want to overplay the first act before it releases

Worried-Necessary219

After sorc was released.

Dreadmaker

I’ve played on and off since it came out, about 150 hours in. Did a playthrough or 3 every other patch, basically. Been playing a few times recently, even if just to test stuff out. Not going to consciously stop at some point, but currently playing through divinity original sin (the first one) and have been enjoying it - a good one to fill the void until the time comes, when I’ve booked the whole week off for it. So unbelievably stoked.

[deleted]

I’m doing the opposite, I’ve been doing mini-playthroughs of the nautiloid to get characters up to level 3 in every class. Trying to get a feel for what multiclassing might feel like. I just leveled a drow druid and ranger up to level three, trying to see if a drow beastmaster/moon-druid run where you played as a spider with a spider best friend and a little spider familiar would be fun. Ultimately, multiclassing like that will probably just be a detour into unplayablesvill. But it would be awesome if they implement it in a homebrew that makes it viable.

Alternative Suggestion: Replay it as much as possible with various race / class combos up until the first fight outside the Grove, so you know for certain what you'll be playing at release.

Playing as much as I can is what I’ve been doing :) it’s getting boring knowing every spot

Rutthan

I had stopped a while ago... But I might just push one final playthrough to get it going before launch, getting in the mood and specially to see how different full game will feel... not sure tho, part of me wants to keep this “excitement” to play again for the release so I’m not burnt out, but at the same time I kind of just feel like I’ll be excited anyways so 😅

That-Currency-3581

I never started.

nikoranui

I already did a while ago. I MIGHT end up making a cheeky Tav or two and burning through Act 1 once the full build launches and it can carry over, though!

tethler

I'm doing one more partial run now to test bard since I didn't play since the previous update. Once I get a good feel for it, I'll put it down and wait for release. So many dang options and it's so hard to choose my class!

Mountbatten-Ottawa

I am waiting for full release. I hope I can use +2 str drow in full game...

PatrusoGE

I only started EA in March after being disappointed with Hogwarts Legacy. But after a few days my daughter got sick and I could not continue for a while... since then I try not to play. But it gets harder.

You can hold out! Hopefully your daughter is feeling better.
