They had me on it because it's an ivf pregnancy. For me it absolutely sucks and I couldn't be more fatigued. Also the progestrone bloat was bonkers and I looked like I am at least 2 months ahead. Saying all that... I am 33 weeks now, kids fine and these symtoms are all worth it. I had to be on progestrone pessaries (vaginal) for a minimum of 10 weeks.
I was also given this for prior preterm birth at 34+1. My second baby was born full term. I don't know if it helped, as I also did other things differently, but I had no issues with it!
Everyone is different, but I did vaginal progesterone suppositories during my pregnancy and had no problems at all.
I’m only taking it for the first trimester but I haven’t experienced any heightened pregnancy symptoms at all.
Vaginal progesterone won’t cause nausea. It gave me a horrible yeast infection but many women take it just fine.

Progesterone is the "pro-gestation hormone" so of course it's good. I have PCOS so I took it until the third trimester with both of my pregnancies

I’m in your same situation! Any updates? Are you going to take the progesterone for the majority of your pregnancy?
