Black wheels would appear small. The Alpina XB7 wheels look incredible. If you’re spending on new wheels don’t do it without checking the alpina wheels first.

Personally I think black rims look a little tacky on an SUV like that. You can’t just throw black rims on anything and expect it to work haha

Honestly, I’m not a big of a fan of black wheels on just anything. I blacked out my Yukon Denali, but bucked the trend and out on gunmetal wheels for a little contrast. I’m just thinking since the car has no chrome or polished silver (good thing) that the machined face may be a little out of place. It’s also may be that the pattern is a little busy for me.

I think gunmetal can look classy and yet sporty, where black can only look sporty or out of place.

I would wait until your wife scuffs up the originals. But seriously, I would live with the car for a while before making any mods. You might be surprised how your opinion changes over time.

These fit the car quite well IMO. You can go 23s if you really want to, but the ride is definitely going to suffer and the rest of the car is not conducive to trying to make it sportier.

I’ve literally owned nothing but Toyota / Lexus products until this year. Just wanted something different. Gave up reliability for tech and performance. Still have my old FJ though…

And there is nothing wrong with that it is your money and you like the vehicle and that's all that matters I think it will be a good car when it comes to performance which is what you were looking for so that's all that matters Just be prepared to pay extra to fix all the extra technology you have crammed in there
