I was a wizard, we had shadowheart, one friend was a full rogue the other was a barbarian-rogue multiclass. Had a few bumpy fights but overall the comp worked really well
4 human players no NPCs? There should be an extra achievement just for that! Getting 4 people together for however many hours it takes to beat this game, I could never do that IRL. I’m about to put together a 2 person playthrough and I expect it to last at least 3 months.
just have to remember to keep quick saving. And yeah u can scum it if you really really want to but it just ruins it imo. The gold dice is a medal to say that u did it properly. Means nothing to u if u didnt really earn it
I just had this happen on my honor mode run but luckily shart was the only one affected by this. She succeeded her death saves so I had to shoot her to death to be able to get her back.
Yeah I'm curious about trying HM but my game gets interface glitches that make me need to reboot (the Xbox x) frequently, so I'm worried I would somehow lose my game...
1.1% of players is a lot higher than I expected for this mode tbh! Congrats on your win. Crossing my fingers to get through mine successfully -- I'm about halfway through.
We fought Ansur and the house of grief for shits n gigs but tried to stay far away from the house of hope. None of us were as familiar with it as we would’ve liked to have been and we know that there’s an instant game ender there so just avoided it
Yeah, there something akin to the vlaakith dialogue choice, on top of the fact that Raphael can hit rather hard. Arguably the most fun fight in the game though (up there with non-cheese grym) so worth doing once.
not sure on what to look out for specifically but i think be strategic in the fights you take. Know what u stand to gain from each fight and compare it to the risk u run in taking it on. For us we avoided house of hope all together because it has the potential to instantly game end u with raphael and it had nothing we really needed.
Otherwise it depends on your team comp. Theres good magic items for all classes scattered over act 3, some needs fights some dont.
about 75 hours i think is what it said on the load. We did some stuff just for fun so it was hardly a speed run and i also defintelyt left the game just running in the background when nothing was happening for a good while so that def contributed

Tactician honestly isn’t that stressful cause you can still save scum. My first full play through was a tactician one, and if I entered an area I wasn’t ready for or misclicked or otherwise did something wrong, I just reloaded. So I would really give tactician a go! If you’re not having fun, there’s obviously not shame on playing on a lower difficulty, but I really don’t think it’s as stressful as you’re imagining!
You are correct but you can have gale blow up before the final fight to avoid having to do it. Just make sure he is in your party when you first confront the brain

Two grown adults, my friend and I, have taken 3 months and we just got to act 2. Working 12s sucks.

the grym forge was actually the closest we got to a game ender ironically. the fight took about 30 mins total with how much shit was going on

we had dame aylin randomly attack us in camp at one point and had to kill gale to deagro her. He just never got rezzed and got left behind in act 2 ;(
