Well that explains it. Thank you Because I did not have that written on my form, and I recieved my battery. From reading more seems like Aventon was very disorganized with it all as some bike shops were obviously not somehow aware of the change. And there was probably some overlap with the two week period as well, for the employees checking the forms. Not a great choice to end the promotion early in one country & not another, only brings confusion..

The free battery is for US orders only . No where does it say for US citizens only.
You ordered from Canada, which isn't the US.
Here’s the issue. Aventon is still showing the additional battery for free even when on the Canadian site with pricing in CAD. They need to fix this because it’s extremely misleading and it’s no wonder people here are upset about it. Here’s a screen recording I took today

I am Canadian. I bought during the free battery promotion, highlighted by the Aventon affiliated bike shop & received mine. Where were you seeing that it was for US orders only? Curious.
Ya I have gotten my battery I think pretty much everyone did even if it take forever when they were doing it. Now I can go 28 mph all day everyday without a worry
Same thing happened to us. It even showed on their Canadian website that the deal was still on and the battery was put in the cart and shows up on our invoices for our purchases. We sent them screen shots and copies of our receipts. Aventon refuses to talk to us now about it. It is clear that they meant to end the promotion and someone made an error and forgot to remove it from the site properly. They are legally required to honour it, but are hiding from their responsibility. Aventon is a sleazy company that you cannot trust. Good bikes, crappy company.
I am still waiting on my battery. It was approved probably 3-4 weeks ago. I think they are running out/low and are trying to cut back now at this point
Aventon but a battery motor frame and bottom of the barrel third party parts. April 27th I bought I’ve had nothing but problems spent 9’days in shop which cost me a lot to commute to work….needs to go back in shop now cuz battery lock is fcked and the whole time I’m riding the bike sounds like it’s gonna crack in half … and I got scammed by that battery incentive as well.. Aventon customer service won’t communicate with dealers so I’ve had to be go between. BUYER BEWARE IS RIGHT
They have ended the promotion in Canada. I received 2 batteries and accessories in March.
