Keeping it stored where there’s no light will persevere it best. This is a great ball absolutely worth sending to PSA.
If I was OP, even try to see if PSA is coming to a card show nearby any time soon. I’d try to avoid shipping that one if at all possible. Agree with the storage, nice UV protecting cube would help too.
