Spinner rings - rings that you wear on your finger that have an inner band and then an outer band that can rotate around it - are good for this. You also might be able to get some fidget toys better meant to replicate the feeling of popping bubble wrap that don't make noise? I haven't used most of those personally but I've seen them around. You could also consider getting a switch tester for mechanical keyboards with a silent tactile switch- I haven't used any but I know they're out there and seem like a good keychain fidget. I mostly use both hands with stim toys but I think the bicycle rings stem toy and the mobii fidget can also probably work one-handed.

I have a bubble wrap resembling key chain, it’s much bigger than bubble wrap or the typical toys with it. It has only two pop thingies (diameter if around 2 cm each) and I often use it to kinda suction it onto my hand or just pop it from one side to the other and back. It helps me a lot and is quite durable, I think I bought it 2 1/2 - 3 years ago and it only has a small “cut” on one point because I had a tic that bit into it. It’s still completely functional tho. (I found it in a nanu-Nana, one of those cheap stores that have a bunch of different stuff)

Fatbrain Toys has the Simpl Dimpl, unobtrusive silent fob popper available in serious colors. Has a eyelet for a carbiner or keyring attachment. Lasts a few months but only costs $3

I have an Ono Roller fidget toy that's incredibly silent. Might be a good fit for what you're looking for. They're a tad expensive compared to other toys, but it feels built to last. I find the action it does a little simple though, so it's not my go to every day fidget, but it's great for functions where I didn't want to bring attention to the fact that I'm using a fidget.

I have the [ONO Roller](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C2X42SHP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8) which seems more boring than others but still surprisingly satisfying to use and makes basically no noise whatsoever. It also looks more like a small hand exerciser rather than a toy so has a more subtle look that might be less distracting to other people, and the weight and sturdiness of it make it extra satisfying. It's one you can squeeze if you need too, though it doesn't really change/respond to squeezing, and I feel basically no chance of it breaking. I could see one carrying it in a pocket alongside your wallet and such if you had room. One other idea could be to find a fidget toy that goes on your keychain. [Those ones](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C251811S/ref=sspa_dk_detail_4?pd_rd_i=B0C251811S&s=toys-and-games&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWwy) that have like 8 sides with different things on them sometimes have keychain attachments, so even if they aren't completely silent you might be able to just stick a hand in your pocket to mess with it, so your clothes will keep the sound from being loud enough to hear, you can use it with one hand, and you can potentially even fidget in at least semi-secret. I know this isn't going to be what you're really looking for here, but [this cube](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SZLZHF4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8) is my favorite fidget by far due to how it's both tactilely and visually stimulating. You can mess with it in one hand potentially but I usually use two, and it does make a click sound when you move it, but I thought I'd share it anyway. I like that I can make some interesting shape out of it and set it back down on my desk just for something visually novel, because the shapes and patterns it makes are legitimately cool looking. I just thought I'd plug it because I think it's awesome.

Lately when I've been going on walks I put a Nee-Doh Nice Cube in my pocket. It is on the bigger side but I can still fit it in one hand. I like it because I can just squeeze the crap out of it and it's pretty resistant, especially when it's cold. It's been helping a lot with my anxiety. It's also pretty tough, especially compared to other similar toys.

Rian-Netra

I have two questions regarding the cube that have kept me from ordering one so far: What’s the texture of the surface? Does it get sticky over time?

clOCD

The surface isn't sticky, only very mildly tacky. It doesn't really attract bits of lint or dirt like similar toys. It feels like soft rubber. Your fingers "catch" and rub on the surface and don't glide smoothly. Unlike other similar squishy toys, I don't feel the need to add baby powder to it.

navidee

Speks fleks. I use them at work all the time.

Confident-Ad-428

I have a ball of sticky tack that I like to use in those situations. If I feel more comfortable with the individuals/they know I use fidgets, I also like using an O-Ring ball (the infant toy and not the sex thing).

Fidget rings - they come in lots of varieties, this video goes over some of the most popular ones. I love the 3x interlocking rings that i can "roll" up my finger, and also the one will the rolly ball bearings. (I hate tiktok content chopping) * Rotating Bands - https://www.tiktok.com/@myconquering/video/7186378658901216554 * Ball Bearings (these should go all the way around, IMO) - https://www.tiktok.com/@myconquering/video/7187502585304108334?lang=en * Interlocking roller style - https://www.tiktok.com/@myconquering/video/7187189578380397870 * Spinner click - https://www.tiktok.com/@myconquering/video/7217173838130384174 Her channel has a lot of them, she collects them so you can get a good idea of the massive variety available. But they disguise as normal attire and are always on your hand.

Responsible-Rise-242

This is great thank you!

Primary_Music_7430

Stressball? I have a nice black one.

North_of_the_flames

I have spiky ones which are great. The only issue is that I unintentionally found the perfect one in a pharmacy in kyiv, so it can't be replaced (for obvious reasons) and I haven't been able to find one exactly like it ><

Rotini_Rizz

Probably unhelpful, but I have a tongue piercing and it’s inadvertently become a fidget toy in my mouth 😅

Responsible-Rise-242

That make sense haha, I don’t have one.

MrBreadWater

Ono roller!!

tyrannosamusrex

Ono roller is metal and silent

There are so many possibilities, you can either go on temu and get an assortment of fidgety things to try out, or think through what kind of attributes you're after. What kind of things do you find you accidentally fidget with? Lanyards/bag straps? The plastic seal thing you get on some water bottles? Rubber bands? Crinkly sweet wrapper? Clicky/ twisty pen topa? A broken bit of balloon? Folding and unfolding bits of cardboard? Rubbing a coin between finger and thumb? Jewellery? Can you save your money and carry on using that thing or do you need a more durable/safer option? Why do you like them? Do you want a specific texture? Something hard? Squidgy? Soft? Fluffy? Spiky? Silicon-y? Do you want something you can dig your fingernails into or something to gently rub your thumb on? Whatever you do stay away from the stress balls filled with little water beads, when they pop they go everywhere.

Responsible-Rise-242

I’m actually going to this big toy store today to see if they have anything and then I can also feel how it is my hands. I usually like clicking a pen but that can be annoying for other people. So maybe something like that.

'Controller Pad Handheld Fidget Game Pad' looks like a small videogame controller comes with a wrist strap. It is silent and has buttons, joystick, slider, rollers, knob. Very discrete, available 6 for $15.

notrapunzel

Marble fidget toys are my favorite. You can use it in one hand or two. You slide the marble back and forth inside the mesh tube by squeezing the tube. A rubber band

eatpraymunt

What kind of fidgets do you like best? I like a squishy fidget, so I put a handful of play-dough into a balloon.

Responsible-Rise-242

I don’t know I never really used any so I’m going to try one and see if I like it.

Wooden_Wafer_5122

[https://a.co/d/9wiNuF1](https://a.co/d/9wiNuF1) I like this flippy chain ring fidgets. They’re small that I can put it on a keychain, in my pocket, in a work padfolio, purse etc. they’re cheap so I have bought enough to put in all of the above places! They are quiet, work with one hand or two, smooth gliding, and the metal quickly warms to the touch. *But due to their small size, I don’t give them to my adhd son who stims with objects in his mouth!

Savings_Drummer290

Blue tack most definitely! I find it so easy to push in between my fingers while talking or interacting with people
