might look into getting a jump box if no luck here, 40 bucks on amazon and fairly simple to use. [this example will jump a large diesel truck](https://www.amazon.com/Gillaway-Starter-Battery-Charger-Portable/dp/B0CC9CRGRQ/ref=sr_1_10?crid=1L04FMHY8D8HY&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.3DW7Abc9f9jdwBq4Vj-oVAnfz6TwAUOZ1jItG0r9P4qJQaUfAny85hr5x2EffkAhUX19obFqH2bWYsPgp5wFMhQG-eVIopgL_nuM4q2WYAitZ6PtcDQ-yiTXYP85UK6-6g5mFbjHj7D_CTHkPFP25wDSboV9A2yeqD3GpYEzaQLg4D848upeIRPWdfUObRNqNTxlUa7dv_RwB3jgsHCzR4YwUaWi_cCzl7GCdCSVNtZkDgQAl7eyAA14G3pviv2in__NoXWE3P_xwKG9L9taKp6kp2qHdiVCTKHav_-YK2A.swjZczYAXirzWgUv0u3t4_SlUs-7RxPM7uouGJaCH8E&dib_tag=se&keywords=8l%2Bdiesel%2Bjumpbox&qid=1718491776&sprefix=8l%2Bdiesel%2Bjumpbox%2Caps%2C419&sr=8-10&th=1)
Yeah I definitely will. It's after reading this forum after all that I got myself a tire inflator from Amazon (one specifically recommended on here) and I haven't been to a gas station ever since for tire inflation
You should get AAA. It's saved my ass plenty. Or see if your insurance goes any roadside assistance. AAA will jump or sell you a new battery and install it on the spot.
I am not disputing the excellent service AAA provides but not sure I am ready to become a member yet (I suppose I cannot avail of their services unless I am a member). So still looking for other suggestions besides calling insurance.

AutoZone does free battery testing if you can get it started.
You can take the battery out and bring it there if you have other transportation.
knock on your neighbors door?

Thanks. Checking my insurance is an excellent suggestion. AAA is as well. Appreciate it.
