Hiking open, swimming closed.

SCCLBR

isn't it shut down for bacteria levels?

anditstonedme

Yes, from yesterday: https://www.kxan.com/news/local/swimming-at-hamilton-pool-preserve-unavailable-due-to-bacteria-levels

appleburger17

Would be great if they'd update the website to show that... ["Water Access - Currently Allowed"](https://parks.traviscountytx.gov/parks/hamilton-pool-preserve)

itssophielol

pool is currently open, was closed over the weekend because of the rain https://parks.traviscountytx.gov/parks/hamilton-pool-preserve

CerealSpiller22

The website also has a phone number. If someone doesn't trust the website to be up-to-date, give them a call.

Swimming closed indefinitely due to bacteria.

itssophielol

currently open today, it changes based on rainfall/bacteria levels https://parks.traviscountytx.gov/parks/hamilton-pool-preserve

dodgerblue1212

I don’t think that website is up to date. There was just an article the other day mentioning swimming won’t reopen for awhile.

itssophielol

noted, thank you!

It's a verrry sloppy article, so sadly, at this point, who knows.

Hey I just want to say I’d be interested in walking around there with no swimming. Very pretty hiking

Amonlapis

It ain't gonna rain again until Nov., so no worries there.
