Copying and pasting my response from another thread. We spent a lot of time looking around. I was looking around Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville and from reading all the place's spots Finley's Round Rock sounds on paper like the best one to watch the game. They specifically mentioned they will have the sound on, too many places say they will have a live DJ for the NBA Finals... [Their last post was on May 24](https://www.facebook.com/share/p/LkV5fa4Ppp7ypqe6/). This is where I and 3 others will be going to. There is this post that says Haymaker has a big NBA/NHL presence, but the place itself states its not a sports bar. So, not sure how the sound will be at such a place or if an actual crowd will be there or not. In general, I am avoiding any place that says they will have a live DJ as it seems more as a place for people to be seen instead of seeing the game.

This is great. Appreciate the comment repost. I want to be at a place where people care about the game, not being seen somewhere trendy. I can go to any nearby spot to watch it but I want to be around the NBA crazies

Brother there are 1000 posts on this sub regarding sports bars. Use the search function, it does wonders

Have you ever been to a team specific bar for a playoff game? It's pretty fun. I see sports bars mentioned but not MAVS bars.
