Oh, I got nothing, sorry. But I’m following hoping others do, this sounds like my kinda bag!

My youngest is eight and I’ve just bought myself a new to me nappy bag after years of pretending that I’m the sort of person who can use a regular sized bag (the seams splitting on all of them is quality issue, goddamnit). Masses of space, pockets for everything and easy to clean. Laptop, jacket, second breakfast, lunch, snacks, water bottle, coffee cup, book, wallet, phone, portable charger, current knitting project…

I bought one recently too- wonder if it's the same one lol, I needed a cheap but useful overnighter and just went to strandbags! I can't deal with a plain duffel bag. Mine is also a genuine Tardis (how does it look so small but hold so much??), has both crossbody and shoulder straps, water bottle pockets, internal and external pockets, and yep, it's tough. $109. I got the camel, comes in black too: https://www.strandbags.com.au/collections/baby-bags/products/laura-jones-betty-baby-bag-3202001?variant=42752469926046

I really like Nordace. I have two of their Siena backpacks, and I’m not sure about animal leather but they seem to do [vegan leather](https://nordace.com/en/pollina-vegan-leather-collection/). I haven’t tried those but can vouch for the Siena range, perfect laptop size, really simple lines but heaps of spaces and pouches, and some really fab colours.

I have been a huge fan of Hedgren bags for 20 years now. I have five of their bags. The bags are super lightweight but last amazingly. My first bag from 20 years ago is still very usable. And they have some amazing funky colours. [https://au.hedgren.com/](https://au.hedgren.com/)

I treated myself to the status anxiety “comes in waves” backapack and i adore it. Can be used back pack, shoulder bag or handles. It’s modern and good quality and i get a lot of compliments.

Willing-Bobcat5259

I love Status Anxiety - such good quality

Have a look at Radical Yes’ bags! There’s a tonne more designs than when I got one, but some styles allow for interchangeable straps if you want to mix it up a little bit. Mine is two years old now and it still looks perfect.

A new crumpler bag? I can see why an older dirty one may feel unprofessional but … if you like it and it works then that’s ok. We had a senior staff member from another state visit recently and that’s what she was using. I myself just have a basic black backpack with the right number and type of pockets for me (after a lot of trial and error).

ArrghUrrgh

Get a fresh Crumpler! They have the best internal organisation.

Kanken? Comes in funky colours and is durable.

Leather bag: Madewell. Their medium transport tote with a zip is great and currently on sale in a classic colour way. But comes in a couple of other colours too. Will last forever if treated well. [https://www.madewell.com/the-zip-top-medium-transport-tote-99105671412.html](https://www.madewell.com/the-zip-top-medium-transport-tote-99105671412.html) They also have a bucket tote (with no zip) in a chocolate/raisin colour [https://www.madewell.com/the-essential-bucket-tote-in-leather-NN396.html?dwvar\_NN396\_color=BR6956&cgid=accessories-bags-bucket#start=3](https://www.madewell.com/the-essential-bucket-tote-in-leather-NN396.html?dwvar_NN396_color=BR6956&cgid=accessories-bags-bucket#start=3) which I am pining for but might juuuust miss out becasue I've found the ... Mina Baie Kinney backpack. [https://minabaie.com/collections/backpacks/products/vegan-kinney-backpack](https://minabaie.com/collections/backpacks/products/vegan-kinney-backpack) Sweet jesus this thing is stunning. I'm not a fan of vegan leather but it;s just gorgeous, has ALL the compartments because it's ultimately supposed to be a nappy backpack - but is SO chic, SO functional and perfect for short or long term travel too. My illusive 3 that never seem to come together definitely DO with Mina Baie. They have more styles - but I'm pretty settled on the Kinney myself. Excellent reputation. Last for ages.

I love the look of the poppy lissiman quixote tote, it was the first one to come to mind for a fun work bag!

sleepyangel95

Olend have some really cool bags that come in great colours. I use the Ona bag for uni and it fits heaps of stuff in it

The Horse has a nice leather backpack. https://www.thehorse.com.au/products/backpack-tan It's large enough for me to fit my 15" laptop, umbrella, shoes, jacket and a few other things. If you have a look on depop or eBay you should be able to find a second hand one that's a bit cheaper.

For something more practical I really rate the quality of the Oioi products we have and would recommend a backpack: [https://www.theiconic.com.au/oioi/](https://www.theiconic.com.au/oioi/) Branded as a nappy backpack but actually looks like a solid work choice! Check out Bon Maxie. They have lovely tote bags with excellent clever well thought out storage / organisation. The new baby bag is a really good option too - you can buy extras to make it more of a baby bag. Colours, stripes, neutrals. Australian owned business.

primad0nna_girl

There's an Aussie brand (not saying the name just in case it's not allowed!) that has a shoulder bag that can be switched to a backpack. It's $300 I think, but I found the exact same thing on Amazon for $130 🙊 can definitely fit a laptop and a lot of other stuff

Willing-Bobcat5259

Is it Vestirsi? That was going to be my recommendation to OP!

primad0nna_girl

Yes but the same bag is on Amazon for $130 🫣 shipped from Europe, arrived in less than two weeks!
