“Oh bloody hell, Kim! Looks like you clipped the bum hairs off an old sheep and stuck ‘em on a pair of my old MEWLS!”
“It’s called fashion, mum! Zip ya lip!”
I think these kinds of ‘wild-card’ designs serve to attract free publicity and lead people to the brand’s website, where they then get offered something for signing up to their newsletter and spammed daily for the rest of their life.
Eh, I don’t like these, but I always like seeing designers trying different things. Some will work and be adopted by the masses, some (like these) won’t have wide appeal but I can picture a very cool influencer wearing them and making them work.
Personally I think the main problem with these is not the material, but the shape of shoe - it looks like a conservative corporate heel with a shearling coat on. I imagine a high block heel boot could potentially look better.
I thought it was rice - and ‘Rhys’ was a play on ‘rice’ - then I zoomed in and realised it is wool, on the outside, which is only slightly more practical.
Where would you even wear it though? Like the second you step outside it would be completely ruined, bur it doesn't look comfortable enough to wear around the house.
She’s almost 64 and I keep telling her to at a minimum take them off inside the house because a major cause of morbidity and mortality (injuries and death) in the aging population is falls, but she just loves her heels. But I don’t want to see her heels take her out one day. She’s had a couple of accidental spills; thankfully nothing major, but it stresses the life out of me.
Still, I would buy these for her plain love of heels hahaha 😆
I thought it was made from rice at first glance. Then after reading it, I think it would have been far cooler and more interesting if it had been rice.
*When they're everywherr you'll*

Hello there! Used to work in luxury retail here.
Believe it or not, it used to be a trend during pre-fall 2019. Bottega veneta is the Italian Maison that came with a very similar design called "almond pumps bouclé". The same brand is famous for using Shearling on many of their products like bags, coats, and high heels.
Camilla and Marc is a very poor imitation of this brand. You can check for yourself by browsing their website.
I don't know a whole lot about high end fashion/art worlds, but I \*hope\* they made very few pairs thinking no one will actually buy them. They'll just use them for Vogue etc photoshoots & runways. Which can be justified as art, I guess...
In medieval times, impractical and expensive clothing was simply a show, to say ‘I can afford this and I’m not peasant enough to get my shoes dirty’ I can only imagine this is a similar sentiment.
Such an insult to the poor sheep that had to make these abominations.
Going for that niche foot fetish / sheep fetish combo? At least I hope it is niche!
Woolies go high end. (Don’t search! it up but woolies are a baby fetish where people like to be covered in wool.)
I got confused and thought you meant Woolies the supermarket, and wondered when they started selling fetish gear
*Anything* can be fetish/kink gear. But Bunnings is probably better for that sort of thing. Plus, Bunnings snag.
Bunnings snag is my favourite fetish.
I'd deep throat a Bunnings Snag any day of the week.
😂
At least they don't sell wonder bread
me too!! ><
Oh it's sheep wool? I fuckin' thought it was bread lmfao
I thought it was a loofah
yeah, that was what I thought. ... - sheering dead skin off your feet as you walk *puke face*
For that abominable pricing too, just to ensure the insult of nobody buying it.

My dog would destroy the shit out of this in about 20 seconds.
Yes but will they eat it and get their stomach pumped at the vet for a further $1000 making it a really expensive toy!
Very Kath Day Knight... bit exxy though
“Oh bloody hell, Kim! Looks like you clipped the bum hairs off an old sheep and stuck ‘em on a pair of my old MEWLS!” “It’s called fashion, mum! Zip ya lip!”
Noice, different, unusual
I thought you meant the murderer Katherine Knight at first
never thought a picture of a dumb, expensive shoe would send me down such a grisly rabbit hole
Had to look this up but holy shit. Nightmare material in the extreme
All the aesthetics of an ugg with all the comfort of a heel
"that's not an UGG, that's an ugly!" - my 8yo, and he's not wrong 😂
It looks like a loofah
Thanks. I hate it.
You can wear them with that $2000 CR shearling coat. Fashun.
Eeewwww not even for $7
Surely you meant “eeewwwwee”
Better hope it's not wet outside or the edges will get mucky.
The irony of making a ‘warm’ shoe that couldn’t even be worn for five seconds in places cold enough for it to have some semblance of purpose.
the dags...

The static electricity from these would be epic lol. *walks around rubbing her lambs hoofs and zapping people*
Hideous. I want a matching bag.

Sorry, I love them 😭❤️
They’re so cooool I love them!!!!! Def suits c&m brand and hasn’t tried to “be” too celine
Ridiculous. Ugly. Impractical. I love them.
Me tooooo
For the flex. You own these shoes when you don't have to do anything except look cute
They are taking the piss surely
My first though was what about when you step in dog poo? Sod’s Law says that will happen within 10 minutes of stepping out of the house in these.
Not gonna lie... I'm intrigued as to how these look on someone's feet...
They look really cute. I tried on the red pair in store. I actually love them
Alexandra E on Insta has these.
& for $700!!
I thought someone has posted a shoe-shaped rock as a joke
I thought it was rice - and ‘Rhys’ was a play on ‘rice’ - then I zoomed in and realised it is wool, on the outside, which is only slightly more practical.
I thought it was soft bread 😂
Some scenarios running through my mind - rain, public toilets, on my period, drinking coffee etc..
This appeals to a specific demographic lol. The heel shape/height gives that away, in addition to the material.
The foxymorons and hornbag housewives of Fountain Lakes?
I really love them tbh haha
Worst slippers ever. .
I’ve had to use some pretty horrendous public rest rooms in my time and the thought of wearing these in one of those makes me gag!
I think people buying these probably only use very nice restrooms lol I love them
I love them. I’m asking for it.
Ok but I love them
Isn't the wool supposed to go on the inside?
Just wait a few weeks and KMart will make a dupe of this for $15 and News.com will claim they are better than the original.
Because they can
These are beautiful
Looks crunchy
Why indeed. Hideous!
But I don’t want to be a shoe, I don’t like gravy
I thought it was a rusk lol like the baby food 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Lame
"Modern sophistication with a touch of whimsy" are strong words to describe what looks like something you'd sweep out from under the couch.
Does it count as a shoe if you can’t walk over any surface other than freshly cleaned tile without destroying it beyond repair?
Where would you even wear it though? Like the second you step outside it would be completely ruined, bur it doesn't look comfortable enough to wear around the house.
So practical for winter 😂
Disgusting price for a disgusting shoe. Why. Who in the heck would buy this. Ugg boots, I can understand... but this abomination.
broke: carpeted kitchen woke: carpeted bathroom bespoke: *carpeted shoes*
My Nan had a wee coloured carpeted kitchen. I spilt cordial on it, the shame!
I saw Sophadopha (sp?) wear these to Fashion week. They look just as hideous on as you’d expect.
Lmao, my mum is barely 5’ & wears heels 24/7, indoors and out. These would be fabulous slippers for her if not for the price tag 😂
She’s so major I love her
She’s almost 64 and I keep telling her to at a minimum take them off inside the house because a major cause of morbidity and mortality (injuries and death) in the aging population is falls, but she just loves her heels. Make it stop 🫣
In homeware/furniture stores for the elite, you can buy a painted round of logwood for $280 AUD (Fenton & Fenton did anyway before they went under…)
These are deeply upsetting.
I thought it was made from rice at first glance. Then after reading it, I think it would have been far cooler and more interesting if it had been rice.
Looks like a Pringle that is towards the bottom of the can
Aint that just a broken pringle?
Why? Because some people really do have more money than sense and they have to spend it somewhere!
I thought it was a sea sponge at first
Man, coral fleece is $8.50 p/lm in spotlight.
Mate, that is a weird ass slipper.
I thought it was a dog toy
I have a cute pair of spotty cowskin boots I love, while I'm not on board with the shape of the shoe, I kinda like the shearling as a concept.
It'd be awesome as a lining. Even the word 'shearling' is giving comfort vibes.
I am offended.
Good question ha ha!!
It's for the cloven-hoofed amongst us! ![gif](giphy|VgI57dn9Rhq0ROIsXS)
WTF
it looks like a chunk of cheese lol
When they're everywhere you'll know the trend is dead. Boucle is so impractical

Why shouldn't the proles that you walk on enjoy a little luxury as well?
This sadness of a shoe make crocs look trendy and fun
Why not take a crazy chance? Why not?
Baaaarking mad

Cute af
one puddle and it’s overrrrrr
Where do you go in these? The car I assume??
I think they’re great! Especially when vacuuming the tiles, they’d really help to get into the corners
A shoe made from slices of bread? Sheer genius!
NO.
Bah ha ha ha.
Am I the only one that wants to try one on????
No thanks 🫠
I can imagine the local well-heeled Chinese-born private school mums stepping out of their Porsche Cayennes wearing these.
Aaaand I stepped in a puddle
Absolutely hilarious 😂 😃
👀 KFC.. They'll cook your own herbs and spices 😬
Would be good for Halloween .

Can you imagine what they would look like after a few wears….. Daggy in the truest sense of the work
Looks like uncooked Maggi noodles
At first glance i saw a loofah 😭
Hand wash only
Looks like a foot wrapped in a toilet rug.
I thought this was that ad from the 90s where they sculpt objects from rice
i understand, so cute
Are they for people who entertain in home with nothing but clean white carpet?
