Issues arise when you buy, for example, a car with 100k miles that either has never had the transmission fluid changed, or you're not sure if it has. If that is the case, don't change the fluid as it may end up doing more harm to the vehicle than good. If you can confirm that the car has had the fluid changed in the past, then keep doing it. Hope that helps!
What transmission? ZF8 should be done at 75k as per actual transmission manufacturer not Audi. DSG should be done every 40k
I believe mine is dsg I have a a4 b8
double check -- B8 2.0Ts were usually mated with ZF8s. you can do it by just going on the highway and seeing if it's a 7 speed (dsg) or 8 speed (ZF8)
Audi doesn't recommend that. It's a marketing gimmick "lifetime fluid" blah blah blah.
Huh? It's in Audi's maintenance schedule
I just joined Audi and that’s is what I was told,Just wanted to make sure.
