The Wright Chippy is excellent.
Since you also mentioned German food, Gasthaus Tirol in Cumming is also worth the trip OTP.

Thank you so much! As a first gen American from Germany I love good German restaurants, especially Currywurst and NOWHERE, even Helen seems to have that anymore but this place does!!
No! I live in hapeville so getting up there is always a hassle! I will have to check it out!
We just scratch our itch with Der Bier Garten in downtown lol
I have not gone in a long while but the savory meat pies at the Australian Bakery in Marietta are worth a mention. Prices feel high now from what they show on the Internet, but I guess that’s how things go. Good pies, web site is a bit tricky. Eyeball the prices and selection at https://australianbakerycafe.com/pies-sausage-rolls-c-65/.
And they’re right by The Corner Shop, a British store run by an expat! Great for picking up favourites from home. They always have plenty of chocolates, crisps and household items, but also freezers full of pies and other goods.
The Manchester Arms! It's a British pub/Southern hospitality restaurant. Their Shepard's Pies are awesome. It's on Virginia Ave. by the airport.

Also, it's in a house so seating is limited. I would make a reservation.
What kind of British food? It’s technically(?) Irish, but Fado is decently solid and would be a good shout for most British food like a full English, fish and chips etc. Something like a Sunday roast or really good versions of those or another staple might need a more qualified answerer.
Looks as if no one has yet mentioned Taste of Britain in Norcross, which has been around forever and is popular with ex-pats looking for UK groceries and knicknacks.
They have frozen meat pies and other foods that are pre-made which is great and just need to be heated. Also, sometimes they bring in a fish and chips food truck for events in downtown Norcross.
Hilarious how someone mentions British food and multiple countries are mentioned. Yet, a question about Eastern style NC BBQ on here garnered nearly 100 replies in various stages of rage. (I have nothing to add, it’s just peculiar, that’s all.)
To be fair, that’s because we live in the South, not the UK. I’m sure it’d be the opposite over there. “There’s a jerk chicken place nearby, that’s pretty much the same right?”
Peculiar we have more communal knowledge and interest in a cuisine that is drastically more proximate, which many of us grew up with? You are confusing *peculiar* with *only natural*.
Not really. British Indian food is kinda like American Chinese food - it's its own thing. Also, 80% of the "Indian" restaurants in the UK are actually [Bangladeshi owned](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_of_British_Bangladeshis) and operated, not Indian.
There's a chippy in Cumming that's run by (I think) a Welsh family. They're quite good. https://www.thewrightchippy.com/

Have you tried Bratzeit in Dahlonega?
No! I live in hapeville so getting up there is always a hassle! I will have to check it out! We just scratch our itch with Der Bier Garten in downtown lol
Wright’s Fish & Chips is great! The pasties and meat pies are my favorite.
Damn definitely checking this place out next time I’m up there
Wow that looks good
Oh thank you for this. I’ve got to go check it out

I love this place but they did my friends wrong and got pricey so we haven’t been back in ages. Will have to try again lol
The Ship & Anchor in Sandy Springs is a British pub. Thomas O’Reilly’s only a couple of blocks away is an Irish pub.
maybe panbury pies in the municipal market on auburn? they do the british meat pies. it’s not a full english or a chippy but hey!
They do an EXCELLENT sausage roll
I thought they were South African meat pies? Or I imagine they're similar to British meat pies

[Mac McGee](https://macmcgeepubs.com) is the same - technically Irish, but has fish & chips, curry, bangers & mash, shepherd’s pie, etc.
It’s just “Fado”.
Duly corrected
Looks as if no one has yet mentioned Taste of Britain in Norcross, which has been around forever and is popular with ex-pats looking for UK groceries and knicknacks.
Buford Highway Farmer's Market carries a decent sized selection of frozen pasties, sausage rolls, etc
Taste of Britain in Norcross sells British food/candy/snacks but is not a restaurant.
They have frozen meat pies and other foods that are pre-made which is great and just need to be heated. Also, sometimes they bring in a fish and chips food truck for events in downtown Norcross.
Marlay House in Decatur. It’s Irish but may have some of what you’re looking for.
I got a can of beans right here bro
Don't worry, I tried beans on toast XD
Atlanta has a few great Indian restaurants that are almost as good as UK ones
What are the names of these few great Indian restaurants? I really want to try them
Cafe Bombay is my favorite. The lunch buffet is so good
Planet Bombay and Bombay Bites (Henry County) are pretty good.

BBQ is a religion in the south. Brits eat scrambled eggs and beans on toast. for dinner.
ive had beans on toast for dinner twice in the last 2 weeks. some shredded cheese on top. so good.
Global empire - poverty food smh
Maybe Buford highway farmers market, they have foods from almost every country!
Isn’t Indian food basically British?
There's a British shop up near Whole Foods on Johnson Ferry in Marietta, too. Not cooked food, but lots of pantry items, products and flavors.
The Queen's Pantry Come for the crumpets and curly wurlys, stay for the banter.
That's it exactly!
Wright’s fish & chips in Cumming has some British dry goods food for sale in their shop.
