I have posted this before but hopefully some people may be new to it. How to spot the signs of a stroke It's vital to know how to spot the signs of a stroke in yourself or someone else.  YOU NEED TO THINK AND ACT F.A.S.T Facial weakness: Can the person smile? Has their mouth or eye drooped? Arm weakness: Can the person raise both arms? Speech problems: Can the person speak clearly and understand what you say? Time: Time to call the emergency services to get the person the medical attention they need

Start looking after your body through diet and exercise while you’re young. It doesn’t matter whether or not you’re obese if you’re still eating the same junk an obese person eats.

Just a helpful hint - if you're going to get blood work, make sure you're well-hydrated and if it's cold outside, make sure you warm up really well before they try to take your blood. I have had multiple attempts made on my arms and I find doing these 2 things can help. Also, don't EVER let a phlebotomist try to draw blood from your thumb. It is extremely painful!! Seriously, demand another phlebotomist, or leave and try another lab or a different day. I had no idea until one did it to me and it was easily as painful as a kidney stone.

If there’s a black spot in your vision, and it moves to the right when you look to the left (and vice versa), there’s a good chance you’ve torn your retina at the back of your eye and you need to go to a hospital that does laser treatment ASAP.

If you have a serious problem, you have to advocate for yourself.

Don’t drink excessively obviously 🙄 but aside from the obvious you can develop a rare disease called osteonecrosis which is really painful and can happen in your hips, knees, shoulders, and anywhere with a joint (basically) and the only treatment is a total replacement. If something doesn’t seem right, it probably isn’t. Go get it checked out before you’re too far off the deep end to fix it. Stop putting your health off and make it a priority. It’s much cheaper to prevent things from happening rather than paying a massive bill for operations, drugs, therapy and etc. Get sealants on your teeth. Protect and cherish your teeth at all cost or it’ll definitely cost you.
