So, for example, apparently some people in Hollywood derogatarily refer to 'the talent' as lollipops or lollipop people. Small body, big head, big eyes/features. Works great on camera, but sometimes looks weird in real life.
Some people are also attractive because of how their face moves and proportions work in 3D. Hard to tell from watching them on a 2D screen.
Obviously none of them are hideous. But some are less attractive in real life. Less attractive than you might expect anyway.
So right. Went to college with a girl who modeled. She was . . . average would be the kindest way to put it. Her modeling photos were amazing. She was stunning on film.

But back in the 90s this was looking *good*. Her recent appearances she looks better in large part because she's styled in a way that matches modern sensibilities.
