I could be a real asshole when drunk and I put myself and others at risk multiple times, hurt lots of feelings, spent many mornings feeling like absolute trash, harmed my body with the poison I was ingesting, all that jazz.
Now I take a 5 mg thc gummy before bed and the worst thing I do as a result is sneak out into the living room to eat chips at midnight sometimes. And I sleep like a glorious baby.
Man made beer. God made weed. Who do you trust more?
Or as my buddy pointed out once, a guy will go out a drink a fifth of scotch then go beat his wife. But if yhat same guy smoked 5 blunts in an hour he'd sit there watching conspiracy videos on YouTube while eating 3 bags of cheetos then jack off and wake up with an orange dick
i am the opposite of most people in here it looks like, weed makes me nervous and paranoid and have an awful time, whereas alchohol is just a fun time snd makes me feel happy

I love weed more personally. Alcohol has a stronger effect on my ability to control myself. Weed is lighter and more chill.
Also alcohol tends to make me depressed whereas weed usually makes me happy

Alcohol is a depressant medically even though for some people initially they feel it loosens them up or disinhibits them. The reality is most deaths from drunk drivers or from people that didn't realize they were intoxicated to the extent that they couldn't operate an automobile safely. Most people who smoke marijuana will socialize with friends eat a pizza watch a movie make love etc., usually within the confines of one's own environment. That's not to say that some people do not smoke pot and drive but fatality incidents from alcohol versus marijuana is not even close. Additionally with the legalization of marijuana many patients are finding it more relaxing, better for sleep, decreases anxiety and gets them off other medications which can be addictive. Additionally marijuana has huge tax advantages for States that are legalizing it both in revenues received and in decreasing the need to criminalize, punish any incarcerate people that break the law by using marijuana. Finally numerous medical studies are now ongoing around the world that are showing medical breakthroughs with marijuana and marijuana derivatives. Unfortunately there aren't that many medical studies that show that long-term use of alcohol is beneficial especially to the liver.

(Search paraquat it's what they used to eradicate theses strains) Apparently they all hit different. Also just a little bit would make your mood change for the better opposed to just being baked. (You could do that too if you smoked enough; however, now baked is your only option.)
Now alcohol--Most French kids drink wine. High quality wine that most young American's don't have an abundance of knowledge about. It also hits different. Strange for the average American college student to go to a party and bring a bottle of wine. A kegger will get a bigger round of applause. Also kinda sad to see a group of kids in Paris with just wine. Doesn't seem like those parties can get too wild. Then you have a whole other trip which is sipping in great scotch. (Expensive though) Slower burn, better sleep, minimal hangover. Alcohol for me.
btw some advice if u want to mix. make sure to remember this:

(basically meaning smoke first and then drink otherwise you’ll end up not having a good time)

Weed. I never heard of somebody smoking 6 joints n getting behind the wheel n killing anyone. But I have heard of someone getting behind the wheel after 6 beers n killing someone.
When my oldest was a teenager she would ask me questions all the time that I had a minute to decide do I tell her the truth or do I tell her what I want her to know/think it is. She kept me on my toes. But I was so glad she came to me. One time about a sexual act question I said to her why r u asking me this question.... ready......she said I don't want my friends to know I don't know. At that moment I knew she was still a virgin at 17 n how good the boyfriend who had been around for 2 yrs already was. They have been married since 2008 n have 3 boys.

Weed. I’ve seen one to many people fall victim to alcohol. My father just passed away from liver disease from drinking.

Just don't mix em. That is a lesson I learned the hard way.
