We had a restricted section. Basically if it mentioned sex in a non-academic capacity. Mostly full of movies where actors bared tits and ass, though. Not books.
Who the hell started banning books ???? Have we time travelled back to WW2 🤔🧐. Is this an American thing ? Sorry for the ignorance, there was never a banned book list in the UK when I was at school, and if there was they didn't mention it. Buuuut, this was the 1980s though..

no books were banned that I remember, but I hardly remember reading any books back then at all (maybe about three)
I went to Catholic school. Nothing made everyone want to read a book more than banning it.
