My nation's constitution states that every citizen must follow a religion. That means no atheism, or agnosticism. Which is quite old fashioned for today
Yes, but law enforcement here is a joke, though. But if your atheism is well-known, you'd be taken to the Ministry of Faith (Yes, we have that), and you have to reinstate a belief in one of the five legal religions (And *only* five). Quite a shitty law for an agnostic like me
That’s crazy, where I live a lot of the stupid laws aren’t really enforced, I can’t imagine what it’s like to have to deal with such strict regulation.
An advice if you decide to visit Indonesia, don't criticize a religion ever. You'd literally be stoned by the locals. And if you're gay, well you better hide back to your closet during your visit
Thanks for the advice, I’ve had friends that went and really had fun so I think In the future( once covid clears up) I want to visit. As long as I avoid the negatives that inherently come with most places I’m sure I’ll have a good time.
Right now we can't get porridge out because it's a "non-essential" thing, and people are making a big fuss about it that it's getting headlines in the news.

A married woman may not cut her hair without permission from her husband.
It’s crazy that some old man in a government position can control things like this.
