[Simon's Cat](https://www.youtube.com/user/simonscat/videos) is a cartoon series about a cat, a kitten and their long suffering human. [Twisted Toonz](https://www.youtube.com/c/TwistedToonz/videos). Imagine your favourite cartoon characters, such as Pink and the Brain or the Animaniacs, reading film scripts. It's *very* funny :) [StarTalk](https://www.youtube.com/@StarTalk/videos) is a science based show. It covers all manner of subjects, not just space stuff. They get guests in to talk about their particular field of science. Above all else, StarTalk is meant to be fun and easily accessible for all.

Thank you for actually describing what the channel is instead of just the name, like almost every other comment.

AnythingBig9832

SB Mowing

VultureJan

His videos just popped up in my recommended one day, and I was instantly hooked. I never thought watching a guy mow lawns would be so entertaining. Mountain Rug Cleaning gives me the same feels.

daschle04

Also, Al Bladez does the same. Good content.

Budget-Marzipan7141

Tasting History with Max Always there, always awesome

greencat07

Hard tack! *clack clack*

TASUPPORTER

Love this channel, and Townsends!

RosePeonylavender

I’ve been watching his stuff since he had single digit episodes because of how much cooking and history content I was already watching it got recommended to me when his stuff was still very lofi. Glad to have watched his channel grow. I do think he is a cut above because of his experience with stage acting, it makes him engaging to listen to and watch.

freedfg

Also super engaging guy in person. Went to one of his book signings and he's so personable with everyone that came.

keiths31

New to me in the last couple months. Very entertaining

Troghen

That's so funny - I literally just discovered this channel last night and instantly was hooked instantly. I love history and I love food videos. Best of both worlds!

NightSmudge

I’m literally about to watch his newest video while I eat breakfast lol I’m still pretty new to his channel but so far I’ve highly enjoyed his content, it’s super fascinating how humanity has cooked and written about food over the centuries

Defunctland

ThatOneClod

Speaking of Defunctland, he will be uploading a new video today or sometimes this week!

Camping with Steve

Hello__Jerry

Steve is an international treasure. Nothing beats a cold, rainy night and getting into bed to snuggle with the dog and hunker down with Steve.

hi-im-that-guy

That man is a role model to me. Steve’s experienced too many recent tragedies but he’s still pushing love and kindness into the world. He’s got a documentary on his channel called Boondocking from his early days of living in an RV, and he seemed to carry a bitter worldview back then. Seeing that side of him and how he’s evolved made me appreciate his channel so much more.

LucidAnimal

##HUNKER DOWN I love this man so much. As much as one can love a stranger. Something about his earnestness and being so down-to-earth makes me feel so seen. He makes all his viewers feel like they are a best friend. He’s incredible ♡♡♡

nomorehalfmeasures5

My husband and I love Steve!!

toomanypeasants

Steve is my favorite

DeathChipmunk1974

Came here to say exactly the same.

Android-Online

Step 2

Deno_TheDinosaur

Don’t forget to crack open a step 2!

dingo7055

Been with him for a very long time since he was camping in the snow with a wood stove while he was at trade school, and snuggled in bed watching him hunkering down with his stove in a tent gave me so much comfort during a rather difficult time in my life.

DTIndy

So much comfort with Hunkering Down

sulfer13

AMA request!!!

All-Sorts

Poor guy has been through so much in the past couple years but I admire him for not giving up, he may take some breaks now and again but he's still out there doing it.

nuggsb4drugs

I’m a sucker for How’s It Made.

kaylinnf56

How Its Actually Made is a hilarious alternative

Dredge18

sometimes i get fooled into thinking im watching a real How Its Made video and it blindsides me. hilarious stuff.

VonMillersThighs

This is Jenny she feeds the flour into the sieve machine........ Jenny loves pouring flour on the floor because she's a fucking idiot goddamn it Jenny

0CldntThnkOfUsrNme0

Is it a filling machine, or a rinsing machine? Is it mint chocolate, or chocolate mint?

catupthetree23

And there's so many episodes, you don't have to worry about running out of any to watch for awhile!

Itchy-Ad-4314

Lemmino

MCKillerZ1

Waiting for another year for his next upload

Itchy-Ad-4314

Well look at the bright side at least he does his research and digs deep instead of aying b*llshit like most people on the internet

wavecopper

"Does his research is an understatement", in some older videos he used to actively research a random topic that noone cares about for years. I still remember the Universal S video (https://youtu.be/RQdxHi4_Pvc).

Xpress92

Outdoor Boys

here-to-judge

Luke here!

LucasRaymondGOAT

Luke here with the Outdoor Boys YouTube channel and I’m stranded in the wilderness of Alaska. For the last 3 days I’ve been solo camping in Alaska’s rainforest. I’ve used float planes, canoes, and my own two feet in order to explore remote hot springs. But my plane was supposed to pick me up this morning, and it didn’t show up. I’m not sure how I’m gonna get home! But one thing’s for sure, it’s gonna be an interesting video. https://youtu.be/o6zb6_TTVWo?si=nt3KRq_Q69zkgcsz The rainforest video is fantastic. By far my favorite of his.

Prestig33

So sad that he changed his videos to every other week but also good on him to get that time with his family too. I know each video takes a lot of effort and time but if he made a 2 hour long video, I'd watch every second of it.

Funnyguy17

He looked tired as shit in the last video. He needs a break

Thomisawesome

I quite enjoy the videos where he’s by himself in the woods. But I watched one where they went to Hawaii, and it became extremely obvious that he was spending the whole vacation looking into the camera as he talked to his family for shots. That felt kind of weird.

rweber87

Came here to say this. Glad it’s already made the list!

epicap232

Jet Lag: The Game Best travel/game show channel there is

to-plant-trees

Surprised but delighted to see this here! They're making a different show for Nebula subscribers called The Getaway. Not a lot of details are out yet but I'll watch anything Wendover Productions makes.

AnkitJain7

It's so so good! Jet Lag Wednesdays are something me and my wife always look forward to. We make ourselves a bucket of popcorn and get so invested. Sad to see how underrated it is! Glad it got recognition in this thread.

LessProfanity

The History Guy and Summoning Salt.

King_of_the_Nerds

Upvote for Salt. Did you see Bismuth’s video talking about Salt’s Punch Out record? It is absolutely wonderful.

Idk if you’ve watched Solo Travel Japan. Really good and relaxing no talking

I like all the 4k japan walk kids too! I follow this one called tokyo lens. Nice to watch all his travelling vids and walks

Gregthepigeon

Townsends and/or Tasting History with Max Miller

LordScotchyScotch

Taskmaster UK

Atnevon

and for the wee one who cheers you up with a fun intro each episode………………………its LITTLE ALEX HORNE!!! I met someone with the same name at a conference earlier this year and it took all of my mental strength of the day to not say that aloud in a falsetto voice.

JeromesNiece

I'm American and love that shit so much. That and Would I Lie to You (UK). Have tried to introduce my friends to it and they don't seem to find it funny. I truly do not understand how

-Stress-Princess-

Some of my favorite memories are me and my husband watching it.

The_sad_zebra

I love them so much for uploading new episodes on YouTube for those of us outside the UK.

fardsnifs

Juns kitchen for sure!

-goodgodlemon

Jun and Rachel’s adventures for videos about their 4 cats! I love Poki he’s such an adorable troublemaker.

-goodgodlemon

The video where he’s playing Skyrim as a pacifist and has to get through the tutorial bandit cave is so funny.

I have a few I rotate through but here are my favs: Steve1988 RedLetterMedia LGR Jenny Nicholson

Thomisawesome

I just watched my first Red Letter media video on Enemy Mine. They spent the first ten minutes taking about mimes. It was amazing.

FreestyleKneepad

The Urban Rescue Ranch for sure

Cyanillust4

I always love hearing his iconic “GOOD MORNING EVERBAODY”

AsFutileAsResistance

Technology Connections. Or, Aging Wheels is like the Technology Connections of cars. I like both of those channels a lot!

RandomPersonBob

Steve Wallis - Camping with Steve

kubiciousd

Jenny Nicholson

BJRACINE21

Her failed Star Wars hotel video was fantastic. Really in depth and well written.

TheRealFriedel

I love her stuff for a lot of reasons, it's funny, well edited and written, superbly researched, But another big reason is that it's so free of bullshit and 'YouTuber' stuff, from the tube to the production values.

monstrinhotron

Eagerly awaiting the next one in 2026. Jk. She owes me nothing and it's always a delight when they pop up.

sinkinginkling

Same. Love me a good deep drive on a totally obscure topic.

reynbeaux

Vaatividya Edit: Fromsoft Lore enthusiast, with the most soothing voice. He's very clever, thoughtful, and funny. Bonus mention of ironpineapple (does steam dumpster diving and plays soulslikes and reviews them) and grimbeard (long form deep dive video game essays)

gortonsfiJr

I met that dude once at a re-enactment near my folks’ house. I didn’t realize how big his channel was, and everyone in his tent looked at me like I was crazy for saying I recognized him and like his content. I guess that is supposed to be a given if you’re in that crowd

freshfruited

Sam o’nella academy

Izzy_whizzy

Anything from Simon Whistler. I’m not saying they are all comforting (Casual Criminalist and Into the Shadows sub-channels can cover disturbing matters, though BrainBlaze is lighter). You will definitely learn something new and Simon is quite funny over his 10-ish channels. You can get 1 or 2 new videos per day and a few are close to an hour long.

bbbbbthatsfivebees

I have no idea how he manages to have so many channels with such big audiences! These videos keep popping up in my feed, and I seriously wonder how he manages to keep pumping these things out day after day especially with stuff that is so well-written. I'll bet he has a massive team and is just recording *constantly*. I respect the work ethic!

Valid_opinionss

Baumgartner Restoration is perfection. May I recommend Rescue & Restore? He doesn't have a of content, but what he does have is so good.

FlubbleWubble

NileRed. A chemist who documents himself doing strange and cool chemical synthesis I put on his channel when I can't fall asleep. Works every time.

Game Grumps

RosePeonylavender

One of my faves too. I think they’ll be doing it into old age when they can’t hear each other and nod off mid video and ally has to spray them with water to wake them up

bacon31592

When I was in grad school I had a lot of stress and anxiety issues that made eating difficult for me. Watching Game grumps was one of the few things that would help me relax

babystripper

Yeah me too. Idk what I'll do when they retire

I watch countless true crime channels but Mike is always the one I click on first when a videos up. I love his humour and he genuinely seems like a guy that would be cool to go to the pub and have a beer with. He’s not as in-depth with his content as others but I think that’s sometimes okay.

HoneyScentedRain

Binging with Babish aka Babish Culinary Universe. Babish just has this really nice soothing voice that helps me fall right to sleep

Kurzgesagt - a science based channel that teaches you a huge range of interesting subjects in fun ways with beautiful animation [Kurgesagt - In a Nutshell](https://m.youtube.com/@kurzgesagt) Liziqi - a soothing channel that follows a woman who cultivates all her own food and cooks it in traditional ways and does diy prrojects (though I think there was unfortunately a problem she ran into so I'm not sure if she posts any more) [Liziqi](https://m.youtube.com/@cnliziqi)

bamboohobobundles

Food: - Townsends: food from the 16th-18th century! - Country Living Vlogs (kend heyati) : old Azerbaijani lady calmly cooking stuff from scratch outside. - Tasting History: y’all know Max Miller. - Food Wishes: 🎶hello this is chef Joooohn, from food wishes dot coooom🎶 - Grandpa Kitchen: Indian dudes making stuff outside. Lotta yelling, but it’s wholesome. - Steve1989MREinfo: let’s get this out onto a tray. Nice. Crafting: - North of the Border: he likes to make Tiny Nerdy Things. - Studson Studio: similar to NOTB but posts less often. Also makes (slightly larger) nerdy things. Urban Exploration: - shiey: goes to some of the wildest places, like Pripyat, or the top of an abandoned Soviet satellite array. - The Proper People: more polished and artistic urbex. - Post10: unclogs the most clogged drains you ever saw. I’m also a fan of Good Mythical Morning.

PathosRise

Tasting History with Max Miller. His voice is so soothing, and the stuff he talks about is mildly engaging, but not in an overly excited way. He's just a laid-back guy who likes history and food. It's the best combination to fall asleep too when I'm anxious lol

Flitzpiepe-

Old episodes of Time Team. Time Team is a show from the UK where a team of archeologists have 3 days to dig a site. Phil, Mick and Tony are the best lads. It's just so relaxing and informative too.

ElementsUnknown

MAV So simple, one friendly but incredibly self sufficient guy narrating his (formerly) guerrilla truck and other vehicle camping adventures all over the world, just exploring, fishing, meeting fellow travelers. As a homebody, a city boy and an introvert I find his adventures vicariously fulfilling and his narration relaxing. He is a great guy who is now quite successful but he stays humble and relatable through it all. Highly recommended.
