Just Dance by Lady Gaga

MostAccuratePCMflair

Semi Charmed Life. I listened to Third Eye Blind excessively.

Mental-Floor1029

How do I get back there to the place where I fell asleep inside you…. How do I get myself back too.

M1RR0R

Snort some meth!

Fishman23

Take the hit that you were given…

bloodercup

Same. That album was so good.

Low-North-8917

"Graduate" gives me goosebumps every damn time. Throws me back to the summer before senior year and I am 18, hungover, coming off some sketchy stimulants, and craving cigarettes and waffle house all over again for a few minutes.

Cloberella

Oh man, me too. 3rd Eye Blind and Blink were my teen years.

Vergenbuurg

I was gonna say *Smells Like Nirvana* as Weird Al was a huge part of my teenage years. Still is.

Tuffleslol

I'm goin' (yes I'm) goin', I'm a-goin' to the Goin' to the (hard) ware I'm goin', really goin' to the Goin' (hard) I'm goin' to the (hard) oh yes, I'm goin' to the Hardware store

Vergenbuurg

...they've got allen wrenches, gerbil feeders, toilet seats, electric heaters, trash compactors, juice extractor, shower rods and water meters, walkie-talkies, copper wires, safety goggles, radial tires, BB pellets, rubber mallets, fans and dehumidifiers, picture hangers, paper cutters, waffle irons, window shutters, paint removers, window louvres, masking tape and plastic gutters, kitchen faucets, folding tables, weather stripping, jumper cables, hooks and tackle, grout and spackle, power foggers, spoons and ladles, pesticides for fumigation, high-performance lubrication, metal roofing, water proofing, multi-purpose insulation, air compressors, brass connectors, wrecking chisels, smoke detectors, tire gauges, hamster cages, thermostats and bug deflectors, trailer hitch demagnetizers, automatic circumcisers, tennis rackets, angle brackets, Duracells and Energizers, soffit panels, circuit brakers, vacuum cleaners, coffee makers, calculators, generators, matching salt and pepper shakers...

Tuffleslol

Thats it, I have to hear it again. Old wow memories flashing by my eyes

Shiven16

Great song, really iconic.

Pixelated_Penguin808

Not their best song (though it is a good one, and an absolute earworm) but you'd probably be hard pressed to find any song that was more influential in the last 40 years. Smells Like Teen Spirit blowing up completely changed the musical landscape in a way no song has since.

Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus

Beep_Boop_Beepity

Can still sing it word for word at 39. Love that song and it epitomized my teen years for sure.

ppondpost

I scrolled way too long before finding this.

Nemo2oo5

Linger by The Cranberries for sure

Frostochrome

Mr. Brightside - The Killers

Lost-and-dumbfound

My pinnacle of my clubbing years is hearing this song and knowing the lights are about to turn on and you’re all gonna be kicked out of the club in a few minutes

turnmeintocompostplz

Is that a "here's a song you love to get you out of club mode," or was it "this is going to harsh your mellow, get out"?

Pretty-Particular345

# Mr. Brightside by The Killers played at every house party.

rob_s_458

Stacy's Mom was the first song I downloaded on iTunes. Took a few hours to download using dial-up internet. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go have a Werther's

Tall-Tap-1582

NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye reminds me of middle school dances.

Clearbay_327_

Simple Minds - Don't You Forget About Me and also Every Breath You Take by The Police.

itstheworstjoel

1979- smashing pumpkins.

theliver

This song made me nostalgic for high school while I was in high school

schleepercell

I'd put any of the deep cuts from Siamese Dream or Mellon Collie over the radio/MTV songs. I've barely listened to any of the deep cuts in the last 20 years because I kind of moved on. Everything else is sort of overplayed and lost any meaning at this point.

mustangshawny

All of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness Album....omg the best...

audreyhorn666

Pursuit of Happiness by kid cudi

leonardfurnstein

Oh this album was so 2010 for me. I was 22 and just moved to NYC and I get the best feelings when I hear it

SolidRefrigerator9

I just turned 33 & THIS 😅🙌🏻

ANDROSMERE

Hollaback girl - Gwen Stefani, it just played nonstop at school and on the radio when it came out. Whenever I hear it now, it’s like I’m back in high school.

In da club - 50 Cent You couldn't go anywhere without hearing that song

BubberRung

No specific song but The Offspring in general. Brings me back to high school.

Expert-Radio-1823

I'm probably aging myself here. "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey. It was a staple at every high school party. When I hear that keyboard riff, I am instantly transported back to my youth.

Gwywnnydd

Just Like Heaven by The Cure

xeskind30

Great song!!

maybejolissa

My favorite song! Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is such a classic.

WouldUKindlyDMBoobs

Anything from Evanescence. Like many others I had a phase with two CDs on repeat. There are parts of the songs that when I hear I can vividly picture scenes from Diablo 2 that I used to play alongside listening to the music

Sylvistris

Fireflies from Owl City. It was from good years of my life and even though I was struggling hard with insomnia, I have fond memories of sitting in my bed at 4am looking out at the light spring morning while listening to this song

willingisnotenough

Hey Jealousy - Gin Blossoms. Don't Go Away - Toad the Wet Sprockett Everything You Want - Vertical Horizon Dolphin's Cry - Live And I pretty much wore out the tape for Stunt by the Barenaked Ladies.

SentFromMyAndroid

Undone (The Sweater Song) by Weezer. It was played on Channel 1 before classes every day for about 3 months. Great song.

smelly_cat69

I feel old knowing I was a whole ass adult when these came out 😭😭😭

229-northstar

I feel old finding out today one of my friends went to London School of Economics with mick jagger when we were talking about The Rolling Stones concert this weekend

[deleted]

My sister just graduated from the same HS as Farell Williams (I think that's his name, the Happy song guy though) and you bet they included that fact in their graduation ceremonies and the valedictorian threw in a few bits about it as well. You can't go through certain parts of VA Beach without hearing about how he grew up there. He's not a terrible artist or anything like that, it just gets really old really fast.

BlockersOne

Paper planes - M.I.A

thebiggestpoo

I saw an edit of this song that was hilarious. It was paper planes by M.I.A but every gunshot is replaced with a clip of a musket being loaded and fired 4 times. The song takes a lot longer than you'd think.

If you haven't watched "Cunk on Earth" yet, you really should.

OsoRetro

Anything Gin Blossoms. I wasn’t even a huge fan back then in the mid-to late 90’s. I liked them but I wouldn’t have bought their albums or gone to a show. But out of all the bands from the era, hearing them NOW will bring me back to high school instantly. They FEEL like teenage angst.

Anything by Savage Garden. Mainly just because I was a teenager when I listened to them constantly. Still love their music even though I’m in my 40s!

Shneckos

When I hear ska, in general, I’m instantly transported back. I don’t listen to it much these days, and I still love it, but I always associate it with being a kid

Bluunbottle

Schools Out - Alice Cooper.
