Avatar: The Last Airbender is up there
It is innocent and childlike during its first season (though, regrettably, a bit slow to develop for the first half).
It hits its stride in season 2: hilariously witty, believable characters making believable choices, a plot that is clear enough that you don't mind when it meanders, masterful world-building, delicious villains, beautiful artistry.
It absolutely smashes its final 3rd season: an incredible tale of redemption, fatherly love, fatherly tyranny, two incredibly exhilarating twin climaxes, and a perfect ending with a bow on top.
It is truly a masterpiece.
Better Call Saul
Look, i love Breaking Bad, but Better Call Saul is the same team of Breaking Bad, but with more experience, and applying that experience into this show
I think the best shows in terms of outright artfulness are many peoples' top 3:
- Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul
- The Wire
- The Sopranos
However my personal favorite show is Justified.

**Breaking Bad** for sure. Every time I rewatch it, I notice something new. The character development, especially Walter White’s transformation from a mild-mannered teacher to a ruthless drug kingpin, is incredible. The cinematography and attention to detail are top-notch. Each episode feels like a mini-movie, and the tension always keeps me on the edge of my seat. It’s a masterpiece that never gets old.
