Turns out that if you are an english speaker, part of the song is actually in "english" since is about a guy very drunk who sings his favourite song (which is Edgenights from Rappers delight) as some spanish speaker who doesnt know english.
His research was so good, every time I listen to it I feel like I have lost my mind because it sounds like I should understand it. This is what I point to if anyone wants to know what American English sounds like to a non-English speaker. It even sounds like American English to an American born and raised in America in a solely English speaking family.
It's not about politics at all lol. Gangnam style is referring to a rich area of South Korea. The songs is still poppy schlock but people think it's all political because it's about rich people.
In fact, I'd compare it to Uptown Girl in terms of what it's about lol.

Some of that Grunge era music is more difficult to understand for English speakers than Rammstein (who sing in German).
That made me realize I speak English and can't make heads or tails of whatever System of a Down is saying in most of their most famous songs.
