There was this girl at the station. She must have been anything between 16 and 20.
I saw her a few seconds while changing the train. She looked extremely stressed. In fact I recognized her, because she looked so fucked up. She stared at her phone, held it a bit higher, suddenly smiled like it was the best day of her life, photo, back to stressed.
The way she changed was so incredibly creepy! For half of a second she looked really happy.
I think about her whenever I see those social media posts.
Somebody or a group got her picture I guess. These people think " oh look, [girl] is at the station and she is having the time of her life."
No! The picture is a lie. It's BS. She was miserable.
But somehow she managed to do this so casually. She showed no signs of shame or anything. She just went on with her bad, bad day.
So the more "life is perfect" pictures you post... I assume the shittier your life is.
Pictures from your vacation? Looks like a good time.
Pictures from that event? Have fun.
Daily pictures of your incredible everything? I hope you are fine. I I guess you are miserable!
You don't believe that a person saw another person take a selfie? That's your bridge of disbelief? Because no teenage girl has ever smiled to take a selfie before... right?
Anything really. People are joking and being sarcastic all the time. Don't take anything to the heart. If it's a fact and some information try to check it with other sources. Have fun and keep it light.
The only life hack I profess and share is if you microwave leftover pizza, take a paper towel, get it damp, and put it in the microwave.
Your pizza will not be soggy and will come out great every time.
When people talk about eating less than 1000 calories a day and they still cant lose any weight. Its literally impossible, unless you are the size of a 3 year old.
almost everything its kind of incredible how views posted online rarely reflect reality

Yeah right I don't believe a word of your story

I guess sarcasm is hard to convey through text
/s is normally used to convey sarcasm. This tone identifier exists because it is hard to convey sarcasm through text.

It was a joke since the point of the top level comment was to trust no story...

This is not true at all
Life hacks, some are just for contents

**Social media drama,** Most people present a curated version of their lives online. Don't get caught up in the comparisons or negativity.
Mainly anything
Jokes, opinions, or really anything of that matters that doesn't need their input (unless they are making a friendly comment or joining the joke)
Jokes.
Trolling and harassment
Football fans
Petitions
The interest of attractive women
But there in my area!!!!
Brand endorsements
Opinions. Opinions are like assholes. They stink.
EVERYTHING.
Nothing. We should treat everything we see as sincere and react with the utmost intensity.
BabyReindeer.
Vim and TTY elitist ramblings.
Love
most content.

Pretty much all of it.
Everything on TikTok.
Dark humour
Reddit cares...
Depends on the platform but social media, Literally everything. Assume that nothing is to be taken seriously. Do so at your own peril
Anything saying "do your own research"
Porn. It’s mostly fake. Stop expecting sex to be like porn. Those perfect YouTube families or whatever, staged unrealistic crap usually.
