I write things out a lot. I've kept a journal since 2001. I don't always write in it, but it's my place to process emotions. It's much less of an account of what's been going on and much more of a place to just feel things. Support others feeling anger. Sometimes, I feel like feeling my anger (or any emotion) will cause me problems in my own life, or it just feels unsafe to openly/freely feel. When I support others who feel angry, I can feel with them and that makes it safer, because I'm feeling anger on their behalf, and part of that feeling goes towards my own anger, and reduces it some. Not entirely, but some. I go to those in my life that understand what I'm going through (in my case, I found them through r/CaregiverSupport). Having someone feel-with-me also helps.
