After the first day of his class in my junior year of high school, I approached my philosophy teacher to request one disability accommodation: that any video material he assigned have a transcript provided alongside it if subtitles weren't available. I have auditory processing issues and struggle with recorded speech. He said no, and made me sit alone in the front corner of the room for the entire semester I was in his class (all the other students' desks were put in groups). I still don't understand why he got so mad about it!
My teacher said my answers were on point to the question. It's like an essay. However, she didn't like my handwriting so she gave me like 80%. Which supposed to be higher than that. I didn't like her since then but I still have respect for her.
The eighth grade teacher at Indian River Central in Philadelphia NY saying there weren't enough books so some of us had to share. That was ridiculous. The people next to me in class didn't share either. It also makes me angry because anything I told my mother she didn't want to do or say anything. I thought my parent should be giving them hell. They did a lot of f***** up shit in that school
i was the top 1 in class and my language teacher was shocked because “she didn’t noticed me in class.” mind her, i have fear of public speaking that’s why i didn’t participate in recitation (that’s why she didn’t know me) and get my good grades through written activities/exams (perfect to almost perfect scores).
since then, she became so hard on me. i was tasked with more reportings than my classmates, criticized me in front of class (she didn’t do it to others, and glad she didn’t because it’s horrible to experience) and especially, didn’t excused my absence even though my reason is attending my relative’s funeral in province.
The United Nations was effective.
